Outst!.anding experience in Lourdes - relates to very first day - my daughter & self walking towards sanctuary, and really looking forward to so much. I volunteer each year , but my daughter was never there before & at her suggestion we stayed in Ibis. Was v pleased with location for starters and we could go down steps & towards Grotto. However suddenly lady tapped me on shoulder to warn me that my bag open - back pack which I bought for trip. Immediately I knew - I would never leave a back pack open/ Panic set in quickly & I found all my walled, bank cards & mobile phone - so my good sense left me too & I just turned around and back to IBis. Up in my room I did not have a phone , but was too upset & just knew straight to police. With that - knock on door. It was Christophe from reception. He had got a call from a shop - St Joseph's under bridge entering San Michelle gates. My little holder with all my bank cards, details, my mobile, any cash also. So we quickly rushed down there to be handed my wallet & phone. They were such a sweet couple. Cash was taken but thank Our Lady the cards remained. I could not say enough about Christophe & Nathalie. They really cared & I did not need police. So I could only say IBIS staff were wonderful. People is the reason for going back to Lourdes and the bad ones drive everyone away. So I am voting for your staff on that account

We were able to park at the hotel and walk to the attraction, which was very convenient. The staff we encountered were lovely, and the room was very clean. There was also good free Wi-Fi and a wall-mounted TV. However, there were several drawbacks. We arrived at 9pm and found there were no staff on site. Instead, we had to use a digital check-in system to obtain codes for both the building and our room. As there were two of us, the system required separate details and email addresses for each guest before issuing the code, which was frustrating after a long journey. The restaurant next door was closed (it doesn’t open on weekends or public holidays), so we had to walk over a mile to find food, which wasn’t ideal late in the evening. The air conditioning was ineffective, it made a lot of noise but didn’t actually blow any cool air. We ended up opening the windows, but it was a very hot night, so this didn’t help much. The bedding wasn’t 100% cotton, which made it uncomfortable in the heat. Finally, the shower was extremely small and wouldn’t be suitable for a larger person. No carpets in the rooms.

We stayed at Hôtel Golf Fontcaude for more than a week during winter, and overall, it left a very clear impression of being well maintained and thoughtfully equipped. That said, staying there in winter came with one small drawback. The floor was quite cold, and without carpet, it was noticeable—especially in the mornings. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it’s something worth knowing if you’re visiting during the colder months. Overall, Hôtel Golf Fontcaude felt clean, functional, and well suited for longer stays, particularly if you value space and self-catering. A warm pair of slippers in winter would definitely make it even better.

I have stayed at Hotel Continental several times over the years and it never disappoints. It is good value for money, the hotel is spotlessly clean, very close to the sanctuary and with several shops, including restaurants and take-out venues, nearby. It has a welcoming feel to it and lovely, helpful staff. They changed my room since there was availability without any fuss when I found that the original room had a bath and I have problems getting in and out of one (admittedly, this was my fault as I should have stated so during the reservation, but I'd never had a room with a bath before and I assumed all rooms had showers). I was informed that the fourth floor was all recently fitted with air conditioning, which is not a common feature in Lourdes hotels as far as I can remember. Even though I had a room partially overlooking a busy street, the double-glazing did its work and the noise didn't disturb me at all. The buffet breakfast is also very good for a three star hotel. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lourdes.

Neben dem Aufzug im ersten Stock gibt es einen kostenlosen Wasserspender. Die Rezeption schließt nach 22:00 Uhr, daher benötigt man ein Passwort für den Zutritt. Das Apartment ist komplett ausgestattet mit Kochnische, Kühlschrank, Herd und Geschirr. Man sollte unbedingt prüfen, ob der Kühlschrank angeschlossen ist; ich habe nicht darauf geachtet und Lebensmittel hineingestellt, nur um am nächsten Morgen festzustellen, dass er nicht angeschlossen war. Das Badezimmer war etwas enttäuschend, da es keine Ablagefläche gab, was das Abstellen von Dingen erschwerte. Die Sauberkeit war mittelmäßig, und die Tür ließ sich von innen nicht abschließen. Verglichen mit Hotels nördlich des Bahnhofs bietet es ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der schwarze Rezeptionist war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Vierbettzimmer gebucht, waren aber nur zu dritt, und er wies uns ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass die Steuern pro Person berechnet werden.

Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht nahe der Bahnhof, und es befindet sich zwischen zwei U-Bahn-Stationen. Wir nahmen die U-Bahn vom Bahnhof und dann gingen zum Hotel vom U-Bahnhof. Das Zimmer war eine gute Größe, mit einem kleinen Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Küchenartikel (Kisten, Pannen usw.) zu kochen ein leichtes Essen. Wir baten um ein ruhiges Zimmer und hatten am Ende eines langen Halle ein Zimmer. Es war ruhig. Das interessanteste ist, dass es in unserem Zimmer eine ”Erinnerung” gibt, die uns sagt, dass wir vor Abreise unser eigenes Gepäck leeren mussten, und wenn wir nicht, werden wir an den ”laufenden Raten” berechnet, aber niemand hat uns gesagt, was die ”laufenden Raten” sind. Auch die gleiche Erinnerung sagt, dass wir, wenn wir etwas brechen oder unsere eigenen Gerichte nicht waschen und sie an der genauen Stelle zurücksetzen, wo wir sie gefunden haben, wir werden zu den aktuellen Raten gezahlt. Wir leerten den Müll, nahmen die Recycling-Unterwege, gewaschen und trockneten alle Gerichte und setzten sie an der genauen Stelle zurück, wo wir sie bekamen, bevor wir auscheckten.

Pas om 16 u inchecken maar je kan vooraf de bagage in bewaring geven. Een iets onpersoonlijke blok maar je hebt alles wat nodig is voor een paar dagen verblijf. Het is tegenover het treinstation en dichtbij de bussen. Zeer netjes en praktisch

Die Lage ist absolut unschlagbar nur wenige Schritte vom Bahnhof entfernt, so dass Ankunft und Abreise unglaublich bequem. Die Zimmer waren beeindruckend geräumig, sauber und sehr gut gepflegt. Alles fühlte sich frisch und gemütlich, und der moderne Zugang zum Aufzug machte es einfach, um zu bewegen, vor allem mit Gepäck. Ein weiterer großer Vorteil ist die Lage in leichter Ankunft des Grotto und der Basilika, die unsere Besuche reibungslos und stressfrei gemacht. Es gibt auch viele tolle Orte zu essen in der Nähe, so dass Sie niemals fehlen von Essen Optionen. Das war wirklich die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Sie waren willkommen, hilfreich und machten unseren Aufenthalt noch freundlicher. Insgesamt ist ein hervorragendes Hotel, das Komfort, Komfort und hervorragende Service bietet.
