I recently stayed at Thistle Hotel Port Dickson, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing due to several service and management issues. The first problem was the check-in process. It took almost 50 minutes to check in, which is far too long. Even worse, there was no air conditioning in the lobby, so guests had to stand in a hot and uncomfortable environment while waiting in the queue. The room amenities were also inadequate. The bathroom only provided a 100ml bottle of shampoo and shower gel, which was not enough for guests who wanted to shower multiple times during their stay. The most frustrating issue was the infinity pool. The hotel indicated that the pool was open, but when we arrived, there was only a notice saying the pool was closed because no lifeguard was on duty. When I called the front desk to ask when the lifeguard would return, I was told the pool had actually been closed for a long time due to maintenance. This explanation was very confusing because on the evening we checked in, we saw guests using the pool, and the poolside food and beverage service was operating as usual. The following morning, the pool was suddenly closed. If the pool had really been under long-term maintenance, why wasn't the area blocked off properly or a maintenance notice displayed? Instead, the notice only stated that the pool was closed because no lifeguard was available. The inconsistent information and poor communication were unacceptable. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The service was very poor. Dirty plates were not cleared promptly, and we had to ask several times before staff came to clear the table. Food trays were frequently empty and not refilled in a timely manner—I had to return three times before I could finally get some of the items I wanted. The egg station was another example of inconsistent service. When my mother requested sunny-side-up eggs, the staff told her they only served omelettes. However, when I went to ask again, the same staff immediately agreed to cook sunny-side-up eggs. This inconsistency was confusing and reflected poorly on the staff's service standards. Overall, while the hotel has good facilities and potential, the slow check-in process, poor communication, inadequate amenities, and below-average breakfast service made this stay disappointing. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves both their customer service and operational standards.

Bei unserer Ankunft um 15:30 Uhr war die Schlange sehr lang. Der Check-in verlief trotz vier Schaltern schleppend. Wir hatten ein Wasserchalet gebucht. Unser Chalet lag gegenüber einem anderen. Das Fenster war nur notdürftig mit Jalousien verdeckt, und wenn man diese weit öffnete, konnte man die Person im Nachbarchalet sehen. Die Möbel waren alt, aber das Zimmer war komplett ausgestattet. Es gab einen Kühlschrank und ein Bügeleisen. Auf dem Fernseher konnte man mit seinem Netflix-Konto Netflix schauen. Die Toilette war riesig und offen. Ein Teil war nicht überdacht, und bei Regen war die Toilette klatschnass. Wenn man das Fenster im Schlafzimmer öffnete, konnte man direkt die Person beim Duschen beobachten 😅😂. Ich fand die Natur innerhalb der Resortanlage wunderschön. Alles war grün und ruhig. Sogar ein Pfau spazierte fröhlich im Resort herum. Jedes Chalet und der Strand hatten einen Namen. Unser Chalet lag in Aceh. Der Streichelzoo hatte zwar nur wenige Tiere, aber genug, um ein Kind glücklich zu machen. Man konnte die Tiere füttern, musste aber das Futter für 5,40 RM kaufen. Es gibt einen großen Swimmingpool (für Erwachsene und Kinder). Das Frühstück war lecker, besonders das Croissant! Es wurde warm serviert. Mir gefällt alles an diesem Resort, außer dem Zimmer. Es kann nachts ziemlich unheimlich sein, vor allem wegen des offenen Badezimmers.

Wir hatten einen so wunderschönen und entspannenden Aufenthalt im Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson! Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und komfortabel, und wir lieben absolut, dass wir unser eigenes Privatpool haben. Es war der perfekte Ort, um zu entspannen und Qualitätszeit zusammen zu verbringen. Das Personal war freundlich, willkommen und hilfreich in unserem Aufenthalt, was unsere Erfahrung noch angenehmer machte. Die schöne Umgebung und die friedliche Atmosphäre machten unsere Gehäuse wirklich erinnerebar. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt und würden sicherlich gerne wiederkommen. Sehr empfohlen für Paare und Familien, die sich für eine entspannende und nützliche Getaway suchen!

Dieses Hotel war einfach wunderschön. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Ich hatte das Glück, ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Meerblick zu bekommen. Das Zimmer selbst war fantastisch, und der eigene Pool war ein wahrer Luxus. Es ist der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Einziger Nachteil war die Lage. Als Alleinreisender, der gerne Orte besichtigt, gab es in der Nähe nicht viel zu sehen oder zu unternehmen. Man brauchte einen Grab, um irgendwohin zu gelangen.

Schöner Ort. Schön und ruhig. Zimmer auch schön. Viele Fische in Tasik. Ich mag. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, muss aber je nach Geschmack und Vielfalt verbessert werden. Insgesamt gut.

No convenience to collect the key and check-in, stay are ok, clean, but not convenience for no car travellers and a bit hard to contact at the beginning.

This is a fantastic accommodation in Port Dickson for large or extended families. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out to provide privacy while remaining conveniently connected to shared spaces such as the kitchen and living room. The furnishings and appliances are of excellent quality, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for family bonding getaways, as the villa offers ample space and facilities for activities to be enjoyed together within the property. Oh yes, the management and admin team is just a WhatsApp text or phone call away.
