GGastnutzerI stayed at Azulik Tulum in one of the smallest rooms, and I have mixed feelings — both admiration and realism. First, let’s be honest: Azulik is visually stunning. Architecturally, it’s a dream — truly built for aesthetics and Instagram. The design is beautiful, organic. From a visual and conceptual point of view, it’s easily 100/100. However, when it comes to comfort and practicality, it’s a very different story. Azulik is a pure jungle experience. That can be magical, but it also means: Very limited privacy A toilet behind a divider No hot water at night Minimal comfort overall I understand this is intentional and part of the concept, but when rooms can cost up to $2,000 per night, you naturally expect a balance between artistic experience and luxury comfort — especially at that price point.  The room itself was cute, but definitely not designed for longer stays. This is not a place you want to stay more than 1–2 nights max. After that, the lack of comfort becomes noticeable. Service was not good. I understand this is Mexico and things move differently, but for a hotel with such an international reputation, staff speaking English should be standard, especially since most guests are travelers from the other countries. The beach service closes early (around 4–5 PM), so the experience feels very limited. A few small but important details: The matches in the room were extremely horrible to light, which becomes frustrating when candles are the main source of light, and I love candles idea but if you are reader this hotel not for you! Cleaning could be better.  Hot water should really be available 24/7 at this level. Overall, Azulik is an artistic, aesthetic, and spiritual concept, not a comfort-driven luxury hotel. If you come knowing that — and stay one or two nights only — it can be a beautiful experience. I think its important to remind guest on checking in what are they signing for, coz people don't like to read descriptions and coming for views then being disappointed. Come for the vibe, architecture, and photos. Don’t come expecting classic luxury or comfort. Beautiful idea, powerful concept — but it could truly shine even more with better service, basic comfort, and attention to detail. And I`m not asking a lot here.

WWangnoaDie Einrichtungen sind in die Jahre gekommen und die Badezimmerbeleuchtung ist kaputt, wurde aber rechtzeitig repariert. Das Bett ist relativ bequem. Kostenlose Getränke von 11 bis 23 Uhr, was großartig ist. Pool auf dem Dach, sehr sauber. Auf der linken Seite liegt das türkisfarbene Meer (mit Absperrungen) und gleichzeitig können Sie die Lichter der Stadt spüren. Das Restaurant im Hinterhof des Hotels serviert authentische mexikanische Küche und ist lange genug geöffnet. Die Kellner sind einfach und freundlich und das Serviceniveau muss verbessert werden.

Amenities at the sister hotel next door were better than ours but because you can access both, this was not an issue. Friendly, helpful staff and good food from the three restaurants we tried. All inclusive drinks in our package were local and not very enjoyable - this would be my only gripe!

TTorbsThis hotel is an architectural masterpiece and absolutely stunning. They are also one of the few hotels that didn’t destroy the vital mangroves protecting the lagoon (and it’s beautiful color). Needless to say that the lagoon is an absolute stunner. The service/management, however, is not worthy 5 stars and also not a Michelin key. We were very disappointed. A few things to note before you book this place: - very inconsistent service: for example, we never received a WhatsApp with all the info/tours, only after asking for it again. - very poor planing of tours (we booked a sailing trip … the first day it took them 2 hours of “confirmation” to end up telling us it’s not possible. We then booked for the next day and the tour started about 1 hour late, again, us just “waiting” and wasting our precious holiday time. No “sorry” whatsoever from the hotel. - the tour was supposed to include “sunscreen” (mentioned in PDF flyer). When the guide arrived (a very nice and competent local guide), she told us that sun screen is not available and anyway is heavily damaging the lagoon and should be avoided - feels like something a) the hotel should advocate and b) not sell as part of their tours - waiters service also very inconsistent. Some friendly, some couldn’t even say “hello” - food also very inconsistent (and expensive). Pasta à la mantequilla was a nightmare, while the hamburger was delicious. - on the day of NYE we proactively asked about a table in the restaurant only for the staff to tell us that we can only have dinner there if we buy the NYE menu for 4500 MXN per person ( that’s around 215 EUR pP ). The hotel is very remote (which is why we booked it of course), so the next restaurant is 20 minutes away. They never proactively mentioned this (all they did was inform that there will be a NYe dinner) Overall, too many little things that went wrong to make this stay enjoyable.

Sie geben Ihnen 1 kleine 16oz Flasche Wasser pro Tag und sie verkaufen nur Evian im Geschenkgeschäft für einen schrecklichen Preis, Sie jetzt extra von Ihnen wollen ein Bali Bett, das leer saß die wintere Zeit, die wir dort waren. Was das Immobilienm betrifft, so war das Zimmer alles so starr wie immer für uns.

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, schönes Hotelzimmer, guter Pool, sehr schöner, weitläufiger Strandbereich, leckeres Essen im Buffetrestaurant, der Pizzeria und auch im dritten Restaurant. Das Buffetrestaurant ist für die Hotelgröße etwas klein, aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Der Fitnessraum ist besser als nichts, aber sehr klein. Alles in allem ist das Hotel empfehlenswert.
