Tolles Hotel, nur wegen dieses Service zu empfehlen Ich habe mich für die All-Inclusive-Verpflegung entschieden, weil das Hotel relativ abgelegen liegt und es nur wenige Restaurants in der Nähe gibt und einige von ihnen früh schließen. Am ersten Tag des Check-ins hatte unser Auto jedoch eine Panne auf der Straße und wir konnten es nicht tun. Ich kam erst um 8:30 Uhr an und teilte der Rezeption mit, warum. Die Rezeption rief uns wortlos zum Abendessen an Ich habe mich um meine Familie gekümmert, die Zimmer, Einrichtungen, öffentlichen Bereiche, Schwimmbäder und Snackbars müssen ebenfalls vollständig sein. Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen eigenen Strand sind im Grunde kostenlose Aktivitäten am Strand. Gehen Sie an die Theke, um sich selbst darum zu kümmern. The check in was very easy, as was finding the location along of the villa on the beach. The condo/villa is absolutely stunning with a view of the ocean that cannot be beat. We appreciated the gorgeous sunsets, the pool and soaking tub on the 2nd floor balcony, and the outstanding views of the beach and island (Yojima) in the distance. The beds were some of the most comfortable we slept in while in Japan. We deeply appreciated the amenities - breakfast and food delivery (sausages, veggies, fresh bread, eggs and drinks) upon arrival, and found the layout of the house was fantastic for our family of 5. With two sleeping areas downstairs (kids), and an upstairs master bedroom (parents), we had MORE than enough space. One thing we would have liked about the location description online is an understanding that there is VERY little near by in terms of restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Depending on the weather, not much is walkable within 15-20 minutes. We ate at the Taco Rice restaurant, and walked 30 minutes to a local supermarket, and we drove the other places we needed to go. Also, the general impression we got from the website was that you can access the beach directly from the villa - sort of a, ”walk out to the sand” idea. You cannot. There is a 6-foot wall that separates the bottom floor of the villa with the actual beach area (needed for water level rising during storms, we get that :))... but there is no way down without jumping, nor a path to the beach (from our #3/C Villa, at least). We ended up jumping down the retaining wall using their small gate, walking around to a local business area that had a clear path, and accessing the beach that way. This was fine, don't get me wrong. Also, while the view is spectacular (and it really is), there is a TON of rebar from a former construction project (unfinished, we asked around) that sticks up out of the ocean at low, or extremely low tide (both of which we experienced while visiting - the extremely low tide happens each new/full moon, we were told). When this occurs, the beach stretches for 550 yards. We were able to ”walk and explore” (careful of course of the coral!), but for 1.5 days, we had a view of tons and tons of rebar sticking straight out of the sand, that stretched for 100s of yards in each direction. Again, this did not ruin anything, but it would be nice to know when booking a pricey room. I think the views are outstanding, given the timing you take the photo :) Overall, we would likely not stay again for the price, but it was a relaxing and splurge-y way to get that Okinawa sunset in at the end of long trip (5 weeks) in Japan. We are grateful for this adventure and my shared experience in this review is simply to help families understand more about the property. We traveled in mid-July. Thank you!

Sehr netter Empfang, absolut sauber_ auch das Zimmer perfekt eingerichtet. Sehr geschmackvoll & vorallem NATÜRLICH. Viele Bücher stehen überall zum schmöckern herum und wenn man aus dem Fenster blickt sind viele Blumen & Bäum zu sehen. SEHR gutes Konzept_ auch was Nachhaltigkeit betrifft. Das Service am Abend war nicht 100% fit, bzw. hat der ”Oberkellner” die sehr nette Kellnerin eher ”kleingehalten” und sie hatte deshalb nicht soviel Selbstvertrauen. Küche war ausgezeichnet. Der Koch alleine hat alle Tische sehr gut verpflegt, Koriandersalat war fantastisch mariniert & der gemsichte Meeresfrüchteteller wunderbar angerichtet...Der junge Rezeptionist hat sehr schnell & effizient geholfen: auch mit der SprachApp hat es extrem gut funktioniert. Danke nochmals! Die Lage ist sehr fein, kaum Lärm bei offenem Fenster. Einziger (persönlicher) Punkt: der Pool (das Bad) dürfen nur Personen ohne Tatoos betreten...aber das scheint hier in Japan auch einfach eine der vielen ”Regeln” zu sein... Und: ich habe um 2 Nächte verlängert_ weil die vielen kleinen Restaurants hier einfach voll zum ”Leben genießen” einladen!

Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

We arrived at the hotel reception at 8:00 p.m. on May 12 to check in and collect our room key, and we encountered problems we have never experienced before! At first, the check-in procedure only took about 5 minutes for Room 524. However, when we got to our room and opened the door, we realized it was not the room we had booked. This room has two single beds, which is completely different from the double bed room we reserved. We then went back to the reception desk to ask the staff to switch us to a double-bed room. But all three reception staff said they did not have any double-bed rooms. We kept asking further questions. We had booked a double-bed room a week earlier and had already paid all the charges—so why couldn’t they arrange a double-bed room for us? One of the female staff members, who appeared to be of Indian origin, used a translation device to translate into Chinese for us. She pointed out that we had not selected a specific room type, and that guests have no right to choose any room type; we are only allowed to receive whatever room type the hotel assigns. At the same time, she also mentioned that the Room 524 they gave us was much larger than the double-bed room we requested, as if they were offering us an advantage, and that they would not arrange a double-bed room for us. After that, I argued with them multiple times and showed them again and again the confirmation emails and payment emails for our booking. This back-and-forth took more than 45 minutes. During that time, the reception staff treated us very poorly and constantly told us to “wait,” each time requiring us to wait 5–10 minutes before they finally kept talking to me and dragging the process out. Only then did they give us Room 1209. Even so, we still had to take all the luggage that had been placed for Room 524 and move it down to the reception area, and then carry it back up to Room 1209. We finally managed to have dinner only after an hour. Therefore, if you are assessing their service, it should be zero points. I have stayed at the Daiwa Hotel in Kyoto and near Himeji Castle, and I have never encountered this kind of problem. This time, I have completely lost confidence in this hotel group, and I have serious doubts about their integrity. After this, I probably will not book this hotel again. I would really like to understand why the hotel rooms booked through your website have ended up with problems like this. I hope Trip.com can look into it thoroughly, and respond to me within two weeks.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine erstklassige Lage direkt an einem wunderschönen Strand und in unmittelbarer Nähe zahlreicher charmanter Restaurants. Der Service ist exzellent, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und die Reinigung ist außerordentlich gründlich. Das Hotel bietet ein Buffet an, und falls Sie wenig Zeit zum Frühstücken haben, können Sie stattdessen auch Mittagessen wählen – eine nette Geste! Ein Lawson-Supermarkt und ein FamilyMart-Kiosk befinden sich nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Cape Manzamo ist nur mit dem Bus erreichbar; auch im Hotel selbst gibt es einen Supermarkt und weitere Geschäfte. Massagen und Onsen (Thermalquellen) sind gegen Aufpreis verfügbar. Die Ausstattung ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, beeinträchtigt aber nicht das Gesamtbild. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und verfügen über eine Kapselkaffeemaschine und ein Doppelwaschbecken im Badezimmer – ideal für Familienurlaube!

Das ist eine großartige Option, wenn man direkt im Herzen von American Village wohnen möchte. Das Hotel ist brandneu, was sich wirklich im Zustand der Zimmer und Einrichtungen widerspiegelt. Die Annehmlichkeiten waren ausgezeichnet – eine Waschmaschine/Trockner mit täglich 2 kostenlosen Waschmittelpäckchen war unglaublich praktisch, besonders für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Der Kühlschrank und die Mikrowelle im Zimmer machten es auch einfach, einfache Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten, anstatt ständig auswärts zu essen. Das Zimmer selbst fühlte sich eher wie ein Apartment an, mit einem geräumigen Wohnbereich, einem Balkon und einer fantastischen Aussicht auf American Village. Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn der Hauptfokus auf der Erkundung von American Village liegt. Allerdings wird die Gegend jenseits davon spät in der Nacht ziemlich ruhig, sobald die meisten Geschäfte des Villages schließen. Im Nachhinein hätte ich wahrscheinlich weiter nördlich übernachtet, um die nördlichen Attraktionen Okinawas zu besuchen. Leider war der Service enttäuschend, besonders außerhalb der Geschäftszeiten. Beim Check-in weigerte sich der Sicherheitsdienst, mich vorübergehend auf den freien Parkplätzen zum Entladen des Gepäcks parken zu lassen, mit der Begründung, dies würde alle anderen dazu ermutigen, dort zu parken. Angesichts der Unannehmlichkeiten, das Auto aus dem automatischen Parklift zu holen, nur um die Taschen auszuladen, empfand ich die Antwort als unzumutbar, also parkte ich stattdessen am Straßenrand. Später in dieser Nacht wurde es noch schlimmer, als ich versehentlich meine Schlüsselkarte im Zimmer vergessen hatte. Ich klingelte an der Rezeption um Hilfe, aber der Mitarbeiter gestikulierte nur immer wieder, dass ich meine Karte zum Eintreten antippen solle und weigerte sich, die Tür zu öffnen, obwohl ich die Situation klar erklärt hatte. Es war auch kein Sicherheitspersonal im Parkbereich anwesend, um den automatischen Parklift zu bedienen, als ich zurückkam, also parkte ich stattdessen auf dem oberirdischen Parkplatz – nur um am nächsten Morgen beim Check-out vom Sicherheitsdienst ausgeschimpft zu werden. Insgesamt sind das Hotel selbst und die Einrichtungen ausgezeichnet, aber der inkonsistente und wenig hilfreiche Service hat das Erlebnis erheblich beeinträchtigt.

Das Hotel befindet sich auf der Insel Guyuli. Die Landschaft sieht auf die Brücke Guyuli aus, sehr gut. Das Zimmer ist groß, die Speisen sind voll und viele Menschen leben. Die Reinigungszeit ist sehr unzufrieden, nicht nach dem Zeitplan, und die Hotelpersonal hat nicht vorher angekündigt, in das Zimmer zu reinigen, ein wenig unzufrieden. Da ich vor dem Abflug bereits durch Trip.com das Hotel informiert habe, dass es spät kommt, aber nach der Ankunft hat es festgestellt, dass die Rezeption geschlossen ist, und es gibt keine vorherige Trip.com oder das Hotel informiert, die Schließung zu nehmen, was mich für eine Reihe sehr übertrieben macht. Zum Glück finden Sie den Trip.com Kundendienst, um den Passwort zu finden, und danke Ihnen auch für Ihre Hilfe und Ausgleich am Tag.

Es ist ein neues Hotel, daher sauber und das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Personal war freundlich und die Kinder waren so begeistert, dass sie gar nicht mehr weg wollten. Ich glaube, ich würde beim nächsten Mal mehrere Nächte bleiben. Wir blieben nur für eine Nacht, nur zur Sicherheit, aber die Bushaltestelle war direkt vor der Tür und es war nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zur International Street. Entlang des Baches erreichten wir die International Street, eine schöne Strecke, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. *Parkplätze sind vorhanden, ca. 15.000 Won pro Tag.
