I originally booked with *********** at cost of £158 , as I use this app for train journeys, I looked for the same hotel and it was £118
As you drive into the hotel massive reception room plenty of chairs to chill or have a drink , we where meet with a warm smile from the receptionist, and explained everything
The rooms are big very clean , we eat in the restaurant very average price for decent food , but service charge was high
Only downside is you have to pay parking for your stay

Das war unser zweites Mal. Im Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel.das Zimmer war OK.das Heizungssystem war nicht groß im Zimmer.hat für das Duschezimmer.Es war gefroren. Kleines Handtuch warmer geben sehr wenig warm.hat für die Dusche, es war sehr warmes Wasser herauskommen. Wir mussten die kleine Kehle kochen, um mit.im sehr enttäuscht in meinem zweiten Besuch.i nicht wieder zurück gehen. Scham, weil ich das Hotel gefallen

We booked this hotel for location and spa.
The hotel was lovely but the spa was dirty and lacking in spa experience facilities. I feel this should be sold as a hotel with a pool.
Disappointing spa experience for a 4* hotel and feel like this hotel has miss advertised the facilities.
The shutter to the spa was down before 6pm on Valentine’s day.
At check in we were told that you will get towels and robes at the spa and last entry to the spa was 8:30pm.
When we arrived at the spa area reception we were only given a towel and told robes are only for guests on a spa package, contradiction to what we were told at checking in at the hotel.
The pool area and changing rooms was very dirty. The pool side showers were out of order and looked like they had been for a while.
The area where the jacuzzi used to be had been boarded up and looked like it’s had been for a long time.
The pool was cold and also dirty.

Disappointed with the pool , dirty, no cups available for water, locks broken on doors . Floor slimmy.
Room ok but dusty at the bottom of the tea station, fan not working in bathroom,
Breakfast was terrible, orange juice was really watery and tasteless , plates too hot and no serviettes provided to hold , cereals were ok , no pastries very poor selection for the price , bread was cheap and soggy and when toasted burnt...yuk ! Too much pepper on the tomatoes , baked beans cheap and nasty , sausages were nice, bacon horrible and cooked in clumps so some were under cooked and some extremely crispy and salty.
For the price of £17 a head , I think the breakfast was 1/5. lady staff member was very nice, polite and helpful 5/5.
Sorry to say but we won't be back 😞

Schönes Hotel, geblieben für ein langes Wochenende und verwendeten die Spa-Anlagen - sie gab uns eine kostenlose Upgrade, die ein schönes Touch war! Schöne Landschaften, Restaurant war schön und nur einen kurzen Szenenwandel zur Stadt
Nur Kritik war der Pool sehr klein, ohne viel Platz verfügbar und die Sauna war nur männlich oder weiblich - aber der Rest des Aufenthalts und Einrichtungen mehr als für ihn gemacht!
Auch empfehlen Sie den Nachmittagsthee :)

Unterkünfte in schöner Holzeinstellung. Friedlich und trotz der Bäume hatte die Sonne noch glänzend. Es war an einem warmen Spritz keine Fans oder irgendwelche anderen Kühlgeräte so Glück hatten wir unsere eigenen. Auch es scheint nicht ein Telefon zu rufen Rezeption, aber sonst gut ausgestattete Unterkunft und planen, ein wenig länger nächstes Mal zu bleiben, um die Lage und Unterkunft voll zu genießen.

Ein toller Entdeckung. Die Zimmer, das Essen und das Personal waren ausgezeichnet. Groß für Haustiere. Nahe dem Shuttle-Port. Wir werden hier wieder bleiben. Nur der Punkt, den ich machen konnte, ist, dass sie beim Mitreisen mit einem Hund ein besseres Frühstücksraum brauchen. Die niedrige Tische mit Sitze sind nicht ideal für den Essen.

Booked to stay here over half term with my daughter for a couple of nights - had a cosy room which was just right for the two of us.
Front reception staff were really kind and helpful.
Breakfast was lovely - the lady there was so nice and although was busy as she was on her own, she was always smiling.
We dined in the restaurant one of the evenings - food was delicious but the heating wasn’t working on that floor so the whole room was cold. Bar / restaurant staff were really nice.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and we would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

XXRMThis was genuinely a wonderful and most special place.
The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet.
They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it.
The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard.
The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need!
The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality.
Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible.
Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite.
A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!!
There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise.
She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!!
Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too!

AAnonymer BenutzerIm August 2025 war er hier 3 Nächte, und es war schön. Die Hallen können ein wenig verwirrend sein, so seien Sie auf die Zimmernummern, so dass Sie nicht in einem zufälligen unbekannten Halle enden. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig genug für 2 Personen, auch sehr sauber. Mein Zimmer hatte einen großen Blick auf den Hof und einen teilweisen Blick auf das Meer. Es waren ein paar Gäste, die am letzten Tag singen und Klavier spielen, was eine Freude zu sehen war.
Es gibt nur einen Aufzug im Hotel, und es kann wirklich lange dauern, bis Sie auf Ihrem Boden zu kommen, was ein bisschen irritierend sein kann. Wir haben auch die Hausaufsicht gebeten, unsere Zimmer für 2 Tage zu reinigen, und wir konnten sagen, dass die Bettwäsche nicht geändert wurden (Ich habe ein wenig Kaffee auf einer Seite gegossen und es war noch alle 3 Nächte). Auch die Handtücher waren nicht verändert, so dass wir die Rezeption für neue Handtücher anrufen mussten.
Es gibt eine Costa downstairs im Lobby, die schrecklich ist - wenn nur Sie bestellen können! Es scheint, dass das Hotelpersonal doppelt so wie die Costa baristas, so standen wir vielleicht 30-40 Minuten nur warten, um serviert werden.
Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, direkt vor dem Meer und etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand.

GGastnutzerPerfect sized room, lovely set up, the hotel itself is huge and so well presented. Gorgeous swimming pool. Lots of places to sit down and eat if you would like too. There is a gym and a spa also (we didn't use these but we know they are there) there are phones in the rooms so you can order room service if you wish. The staff knocked on our door on the second evening and asked if we would like any refills on teabags coffee or sugar or any fresh towels. So well mannered and polite. Just an over all lovely place to go and its literally beside Brands Hatch where we needed to be. Cannot fault this place..

GGastnutzerDas Hotel selbst braucht eine neue Lebensvermietung. Eine Verriegelung von Farben, Veränderung von Teppichen und Beißen der Badezimmer und Möbel. Unser Stuhl hatte Farben. Abgesehen von diesem Wow schön begründet meine Güte, Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfreich, schöne berührt wie das Wasser und Saft in der Rezeption lobby schön dekoriert. Liebe zu den Fitness und Pool-Bereich auch besonders die Jacuzzi sehr schön. Das Deck oben auf dem Dach braucht Aufmerksamkeit, eine Menge Parkplätze sehr gut und die Betten waren super komfortable. Die TVs brauchen viel größere und neuere. Frühstück sehr schön danke.
