Welcome to the Motueka Getaway!Our funky three-bedroom suntrap offers cheerful open-plan living overlooking the large yard. This house is fresh and functional, with new carpet and paint throughout. An HRV system, built-in fire place and ceiling fan help to keep the temperature comfortable throughout the seasons. A brand new heatpump/ air conditioner has been recently installed. The bedrooms include a queen, a king single and two single beds, as well as a sofa bed in the lounge for added flexibility.The modern kitchen includes a double oven, microwave and gas cooktop, as well as a brand-new dishwasher.The older-style bathroom (with shower, bath and separate toilet) is perfectly clean and functional, and the laundry is an asset for longer-term guests.The property is fully fenced, and is tucked down a quiet back section. Please feel free to enquire about bringing your pet - we are happy to discuss this with you. There is plenty of off-street parking for a caravan or boat.The landscaping is still an enthusiastic work-in-progress – watch this space! In the daytime, you can admire the views across to Rabbit Island and Nelson. Go for a swim in the resort-style pool, or catch the sun on one of the many decks.. Or perhaps just wander around the beautiful gardens, orange groves and paddocks. Kids (and fun-loving adults) will be kept entertained in the games room, with a pool table and darts board. Or head outside to the play on the trampoline, football pitch, or gym bars.At night, gather round the firepit and toast marshmallows, while dinner cooks on the barbecue. Gaze at the stars as you have an evening soak in the spa pool. Admire the twinkling lights of Nelson city, or even jump back in the pool - because, guess what? Beautifully cool and breezy in summer, with French doors opening from nearly every room...but also warm and toasty in winter, with two woodburners and a heat pump.Centrally located to all that Nelson and Tasman has to offer - including biking trails, beaches, wineries and National Parks.
