3-Sterne-Hotels in Jiangxi, China

Great pet friendly stay in the mountains with free parking and amazing JiangXi food that we just had to order everyday. The drive up was easy, air was fresh and it wasn’t hot at all despite the 40degree heat. Only 1hr drive to 武功山, a very quick drive to town and they even gave gifts when we left. The down sides were, being a homestay, it’s so friendly there wasn’t much service. They din contact us beforehand, some homestay owners will enquire arrival time so they can welcome us, especially with steps leading up to the accommodation. The 2 ladies reacted like we weren’t expected, the butler had no smile and didn’t offer to help us carry our luggages up the stairs to our room, until I mentioned I will make a 2nd trip down. No one informed us there will be 2 dozen moths entering the room at night because we had the aircon on. Well, it’s summer…. Luckily we are both not scared of them, I can already imagine my screaming friends had it been them. I spent most of the 1st night clearing the moths. The 2nd night was better with only about 10 moths after the housekeeping lady told us to block the bottom of the door. We informed them we will only have their set breakfast on the 2nd morning, and they were so nice to cook us a bowl of noodles when we asked for breakfast on the 1st morning after we came back early from 武功山. Sadly when we went down for breakfast on the 2nd morning, there were no one around, and when we asked the butler if there is breakfast , his reply was like “think should have”. 😅 It’s around 30km for nearest takeaway so we munched on what we brought. It’s a 1.5hrs wait until we heard commotion and went to take a look, yes breakfast is ready. I knew they never read my request when they were a tad surprised we brought our pet along. I mentioned ahead we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I didn’t expect a cake or surprise, a simple decoration in the room or just a birthday wish when we check in would have been so nice, especially since it’s the actual day. Nothing.. No helping with luggage after check out either. Overall still a lovely stay, will consider coming back if we need a pet friendly place.

Enttäuschend hier bleiben. Wir hatten keine Wahl, sondern unseren Aufenthalt zu verlängern, weil es chinesisches neues Jahr war und es sehr schwer, einen anderen Ort zu finden, um zu bleiben, und auch mein Mann war krank, so dass wir unsere Pläne ändern und eine Nacht zu verbringen, damit er sich ausruhen konnte. Der Ort riecht wie Rauch überall. Wir haben ein Baby mit uns und wollten einen Rauchfreien Ort. Trotz der Zeichen im Lobby sagen Kein Rauch, Leute rauchen dort und die Vordertafel Leute kümmerten sich nicht um. Die Handtücher in unserem Zimmer hatten Asche auf ihnen und riechen wie Rauch. Sie wurden auch geschnitten und mussten schwer ersetzt werden. (Wir haben ein Rauchfreies Zimmer und haben bei unserer Reise gelehrt, dass alles, was sie für Rauchfreie Zimmer tun, ist die Fenster zu eröffnen, bevor Sie ankommen. 🤦🏻♀️) Es gab nicht genug Toilettenpapier, als wir ankamen, und obwohl sie mehr lieferten, als wir es fragten, war es einfach ungünstig. Der Toilettenpapierhalter wurde gebrochen, so dass wir irgendwo anders finden mussten, um die Rolle des Toilettenpapiers zu platzieren. Der Tauch leckte und es sollte ein trockenes Waschraum sein, das ist einer der Gründe, warum ich den Platz reserviert, aber erwies sich als ein nasses Waschraum. Unglaublich ungünstig mit einem Baby. Die Duschedrainage fehlte eine Decke und es fühlte sich nicht sicher für mein Kind, wenn sie duschete, weil ihre kleinen Füße in sie gefangen werden könnten. Einer der Tage, an denen wir etwas länger ausruhen mussten, fragte die Hausmeister uns, wann wir verlassen, damit sie unser Zimmer sauber machen konnte. Wir sagten, wir brauchten noch 2 Stunden (um 2 Uhr) sie versuchte, in unserem Zimmer zu vertreten und sagte, sie wollte früh rauskommen. Ich fand das unglaublich brutal. Ich verstehe es ist CNY und Sie wollen zu früh nach Hause gehen, aber das ist nicht etwas, was Sie einem Gast sagen sollten, der bezahlt, im Hotel zu bleiben. Front Desk Leute auch nicht freundlich scheinen. Sie sahen nie irgendeinem von ihnen lächeln. Wir sprechen natürlich nicht flüssig Chinesisch und sie lachten uns, als sie uns nicht verstehen konnten und auf keine Weise hilfreich waren. Insgesamt, nicht sehr angenehm Aufenthalt. Ich würde nicht mehr hier bleiben.

Die Landschaft im Hof war atemberaubend. Nachdem ich um 10 Uhr aus dem Wangxian-Tal zurückgekehrt war, machte ich ein paar Fotos im Hof. Sie waren so fotogen. Die von der Tante gekochten Nudeln waren köstlich (sogar die Nudeln ohne Chili waren sehr aromatisch, sehr empfehlenswert!). Der B&B-Besitzer war auch sehr freundlich und half uns, ein Auto zum Huangling Scenic Area zu buchen, was günstiger war, als direkt einen Fahrer zu mieten! Sehr empfehlenswert! Wäre der Zeitplan nicht so eng gewesen, wäre ich noch eine Nacht geblieben.

Staff members try their best to help. One of them help me in calling for cab as my app doesn’t work well. Breakfast can be greatly improved. No coffee! Location is only convenient to the museums and old kiln relic otherwise it’s way off the city center. I was not given the room that I paid for during the first night.

Ausstattung: Die Leinwand-Projektionsausrüstung ist übersichtlich. Mir gefällt sie sehr gut. Auch das Bett ist bequem. Hygiene: sauber und ordentlich. Umgebung: Das ist mein Lieblingsdekorationsstil, hahaha, sauber und erfrischend. Service: Damit muss ich prahlen. Wenn Sie am Aussichtspunkt ankommen, rufen Sie den Chef an und er holt Sie ab und bringt Sie wieder zurück. Wenn Sie zum Spielen ausgehen, egal wie spät es ist, rufen Sie einfach den Chef an und Er holt Sie ab und bringt Sie zurück zum Hotel. Es ist wirklich sehr rücksichtsvoll. In der Nähe des B&B gibt es verschiedene Snack-Supermärkte. Alles ist so praktisch und schön. Das Wangxian-Tal ist sehr schön und einen Besuch wert. Ich kann dieses B&B wärmstens empfehlen!

Trip.com shows an average score of 4.7/5.0  . I personally think it deserves a 5.0. When I looked at the posted pictures, I wasn’t really impressed. When I went inside the room I was astonished at how nice the room actually look. The room look much better than the pictures.  The look of the 2nd floor on the side of the 民宿 facing the street is not good but once you step inside, you will enter into a very beautiful lobby and then further in the rooms.  I am picky about the workmanship of the room . The room is quite well built and it is hard to find any flaw. The room design is aesthetically beautiful. It is pleasing to the eyes. The white wall gives me a cheerful mood. The expansive windows offers an excellent view and a lot of natural light. The room is bright with bedside buttons to turn off the necessary lights when I went to bed. There are lounge areas where one can relax and enjoy the tranquil ambience. I like the shower area separates from the toilet . The shower stall has a door so area in front of the toilet remains dry after shower.  The location can’t be beat . It is very close , within walking distance of all major attractions. The street is full of antique stores but within 10 to 15 minutes you can find many food options. There was daily house keeping. Garbage was disposed and towels replaced during my stay. The cleaning crew really did a great job. I saw 3 different persons at the reception desk. They were all very helpful and kind. I have asked him to show me how to shut the window, turn on the heater etc and he came right away to help. The included daily breakfast offers a range of choices. I love this hotel and wish that I could stay longer. Many thanks to the staff of the 民宿for their hardwork . 

Der Besitzer war sehr nett und holte uns sogar vom Bahnhof ab. Unterwegs erzählte er uns etwas über die Geschichte und Kultur Wuyuans. Sein Haus ist etwas ganz Besonderes, angeblich ein Überbleibsel aus der Qing-Dynastie. Dieser Volksbrauch liegt ganz in der Nähe von Wunuzhou, etwa fünf Autominuten entfernt. Morgens kochte die Frau des Besitzers Haferbrei mit eingelegtem Gemüse. Ich mag die gedämpften Brötchen am liebsten, aber ich weiß nicht, ob sie sie selbst macht. Mein Partner mag Haferbrei mit eingelegtem Gemüse, hahaha. Wir hatten zwei Schüsseln. Das Zimmer ist auch etwas Besonderes. Aber bitte keine Einwegpantoffeln im Badezimmer tragen. Ich bin gestern Abend aus Versehen ausgerutscht und es tat höllisch weh …

Meine größte Freude bei meinem Besuch im Wangxian-Tal war die Buchung dieses B&Bs! Ich war sowohl von der Ausstattung als auch vom Service begeistert. Ich bevorzuge Hotels gegenüber B&Bs. Mein erster Eindruck war das stilvoll eingerichtete, saubere Zimmer. Besonders schön war der Einwegwasserkocher. Die Gastgeberin, eine gebürtige Nordostchinesin, war herzlich und freundlich. Da ich Kantonesin bin, trinke ich immer Tee, deshalb brachte sie mir sogar ihr eigenes Teeservice. Sie gab mir sogar etwas Obst mit, als wir aus dem Wangxian-Tal zurückkamen. Da sie wusste, dass wir früh abreisen mussten, bereitete sie liebevoll das Frühstück vor. Ich hatte eine wundervolle Zeit hier. Fünf Sterne, ohne zu zögern!

Location is perfect if you wanna soend time hanging around the impreial kiln area, the entrance tickets allow u to enter for consecutive three days, and it is nice to take a walk at the river side right across hotel too. 20mins taxi ride from highspeed rail station. There is supermarket nearby, and quite a lot of local jiangxi dishes restaurants and a local mall with kfc within 10mins walk. a little shop selling the famous fried dough sesame mochi and soybean milk at the street next to it. The hotel is a bit too worn out and first time i enter the room theres a really bad smell which could be from the towel/mob they used to clean. N the room is too dark as the window is pretty small. It gets better after i turn on the ac for the whole night… The room is veryvery spacious but the shower space has water leakage on the floor… n the washing basin is a bit block… n water goes away really slow… Hotel staff are friendly tho except first day the house cleaning lady keeps knocking my door for cleaning but im still in bed and second time im in shower… first time in my life encounter such frequent knocking lol And it is pretty weird they throw away my toothbrush on the second night too cos they throw away my travel toobrush cap too… Corridor is pretty nice n the room decor u can tell they immersed quite some ceramic elements which is nice but overall the hotel is quite worn out and the noise isolation from corridor still has great room for improvement.

Die Zimmer verfügen über elektrische Vorhänge, automatische Toiletten und eine große Badewanne zum Entspannen. Hygiene: Alle von Gästen benutzten Artikel werden nach jedem Gast gewechselt! Der junge Besitzer legt größten Wert auf Sauberkeit. Ambiente: Elegant und stilvoll, mit Teepausen und einem Café. Service: Herzlicher und zuvorkommender Service, inklusive Abholservice vom Bahnhof. Gute Verkehrsanbindung; in der Nähe von Wunvzhou, der Altstadt von Xian'gao und der Mondbucht.
