Fabelhafte Unterkunft im Mill Hotel & Spa Schönes Zimmer, hinzugefügt Bonus war die Verwendung des Pool/Spa-Raums. Gutes Frühstück. Personal war sehr freundlich. Wird sicherlich wieder bleiben 😁

Ich war schon zweimal hier und war zufrieden. Leider musste ich dieses Mal das Zimmer wechseln, da die Vorhänge herunterfielen und sich nicht schließen ließen. Das Ersatzzimmer, das sie mir gaben, roch nach Schweiß und Urin. Ansonsten ist das Hotel schön und die Preise angemessen. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind gut. Um das Erlebnis zu verbessern, muss die Reinigung priorisiert werden.

The location is perfect—conveniently close to key areas, making it easy to get around Manchester. The service was outstanding, with staff being friendly, responsive, and always willing to help.

Insgesamt eine angenehme Erfahrung.  Aus reinen Blickwinkeln war es ziemlich gut, aber es gab ziemlich wenige Spider-Webs in den Decken und unter Radiatoren, die wahrscheinlich schon eine Weile da gewesen waren.  Das Frühstück war aber gut, als einige unserer Party 10 Minuten vor dem Ende des Services kamen, gab es keine Glass für Saft und keine Schüssel für Obst/Getreide zu verwenden. Bitte schätzen Sie es nahe am Ende der Zeitrahmen, aber das Frühstück war noch offen. Auch wenn Sie Kaffee mögen, dann würde ich den Kaffee, den Sie am Frühstück serviert haben, vermeiden.

Wert für Geld. Bequem Bett. Keine Beschwerde für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe.

Really loved this hotel from the moment we got there. Clean and great vibe !   lovely venue, room and super comfy bed and pillows.  Excellent facilities and swimming pool. Great bar and restaurant area. Only thing was little slow to clear the table and to remind the bar staff both nights about bringing the kids menu ice cream.  Apart from that, it was fabulous, and definitely will come back 😀

Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet, aber es ist sehr gut. Ich habe nicht die Bar oder das Restaurant besucht, wie es mit meinem 12-jährigen Sohn war, aber das Menü sah ausgezeichnet aus und die Bar-Bereich sah angenehm aus. Viel schöne Flachwagenparkplätze. Ich würde sicherlich wieder besuchen!

The hotel is over the pub where breakfast is served. The rooms are well decorated and equipped. The bed is comfortable. There is an issue is plumbing. Due to the use of macerators or pumps, and the presence of down pipes in the room, use of bathrooms by neighbours makes a lot of noise. For some reason, when showering, the pump didn't activate and I had to get the pump activated by switching on the basin tap. Otherwise the shower tray would have flooded the bathroom. The radiator thermostat can't be adjusted so it's on or off. When not heating, the radiator makes funny noises. Although these are negative points, the positives outweigh the negatives. Stayed on 20 June 2025 I chose this place because I was looking for somewhere different to the typical hotels and BnBs during my Europe trip. I was more mobile with a rented car. The photos in the booking website did not do it justice as it gave a “******* castle” vibe but in reality is lovely and bright. In addition, the relatively low price and limited time to book. I am puzzled that it's ratings did not exceed 4 stars as it exceeded my expectations. The staff were warm, kind, and prompt. Breakfast was excellent, with the amazing view from the room, overlooking a meadow with grazing sheep. An added bonus: it’s located along the Grindstone Path, making it a perfect and convenient spot for hiking enthusiasts.
