My stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager. We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay. Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day. At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay. The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring. What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.

The experience we had at another Riad set very, very high expectations, so read this with that in mind :) I've worked and stayed in luxury hotels around the world, and if you're looking for a stunning hotel, with pleasant service this would be a top choice. However overall we were looking for more of an intimate experience. Staff were very nice; they were young, friendly, kind and caring. Travelling with my mother however, it felt very uncomfortable when I was asked 'how my wife was doing?!', this summed up the disconnection between the hotel and the experience. A beautiful hotel but short of a 4/5 star experience. It is one of the most stunning Riads you will stay at. The restaurant serves great food, and the views are amazing - if you can handle the three floors of steep steps. Overall, you won't be disappointed but it felt like when we stayed there was no manager for those extra touches you expect when paying this much.

Schönes Hotel, gutes Personal und gute Ausstattung. Die Sauberkeit war gut, ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen, hier zu übernachten! Eine Sorge besteht jedoch darin, dass das WLAN in Ihrem Zimmer schwach ist. Aber selbst wenn man diese Mängel entdeckt, ist es ein tolles Hotel.

No more support We were unable to reach the hotel because our Qatar Airways flight through the Middle East was cancelled due to the war. We had booked three double rooms. I contacted Trip.com for assistance, and also reached out to the hotel directly via messages and email to explain the situation. Unfortunately, we did not receive any support or response at all. In contrast, many other hotels in Morocco were understanding and offered free cancellations or flexible rescheduling. This hotel, however, was extremely rigid and showed no consideration for our circumstances. I was initially very impressed by the hotel’s décor based on previous reviews, but given this experience, it’s something we will seriously reconsider if we ever return to Morocco in the future.

The riad's meticulously adorned courtyard with gentle tricking of water from the fountain, swaying green trees and intricate tile work serves as a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling city outside. Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay. Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

Das Haus aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, das Gebäude selbst ist sehr schön und erstaunlich. Das Frühstück ist oben im Gebäude, die Landschaft ist großartig und Sie können einen großen Bereich der Medina sehen. Die Zimmerausstattung ist auch gut, hat im Grunde alles was man braucht. Aber das alte Haus hat auch Probleme. Die Schalldämmung ist zu schlecht. Es gibt ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock, das mit dem Aufzug auf und ab zu hören ist, und der Lärm im Gang ist laut. Am Anreisetag war es schon Abend, und als ich das Haus betrat, stürzte ich in den Geruch von Desinfektionswasser. Die größte Aufschlüsselung ist, dass es in 2 Nächten 4 Leistungssprünge gibt. So etwas passiert in einem solchen Haus ist wirklich beängstigend. Als die Mitarbeiter sagten, dass dies noch nie zuvor passiert sei, fühlten sich die Leute noch beängstigender. Der Verkehr ist ziemlich bequem, Sie können in der Nähe parken und müssen Ihr Gepäck nicht zu lange schleppen. Aber dieser Ort ist eigentlich ziemlich weit weg von der regulären Altstadt, und die Abkürzungen in der Altstadt trauen sich nachts nicht zu gehen. Wir wollten gegen vier oder fünf Uhr am Straßenrand ein Taxi nehmen. Es war schwierig, ein Taxi zu nehmen. Es schien, dass die Taxis voller Leute waren. Am Morgen musste ich ein Taxi zur CTM-Station nehmen. Da es an diesem Ort tagsüber schwierig ist, ein Petit Taxi zu rufen, habe ich die Rezeption gebeten, bei der Buchung eines privaten Autos zu helfen. Es dauert ungefähr zehn Minuten und 100dhr. Wenn Sie wissen, dass Sie getötet wurden, können Sie nur diese Methode verwenden. Das Mädchen an der Rezeption ist sehr engagiert und hat das Gefühl, Tag und Nacht zu sitzen. Wenn Sie Fragen haben, fragen Sie sie einfach, aber es gibt den Leuten das Gefühl, dass das Aufschieben von Abendessen und Spa ein bisschen zu viel ist, aber ich sage nichts, wenn ich mich weigere. Wachte am Morgen vor der Abreise auf und half uns, das Frühstück zu packen.

設施：淋浴間特別大，洗澡特別爽，總體來説比較古色古香，絕對不能説得上狠心，唯一的缺點是網絡真的很差很差，基本等同於沒有網……扣的分基本是扣給了網絡很差這件事情 衞生：非常乾淨 環境：在一大堆巷子裏面找路其實有點困難，路上有摩洛哥人幫忙指路，竟然還索要的小費，但是店主把他們關在門外了，我們沒有給小費。環境非常清幽，泳池的庭院也太好看，太好拍照了！ 服務：服務特別好，入住的時候會給你泡綠茶，而且會問你早餐想吃什麼，所有摩洛哥的風味都能吃到！

If I ever return to Fes, I will definitely stay here again. In contrast to its historic and traditional charm, the rooms were incredibly clean and beautiful. Waking up to nothing but the sound of birds chirping in the morning was a dream. Every detail of the interior was stunning, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location is actually much easier to find compared to other accommodations in Fes. However, I did have a bit of trouble finding it at first and unfortunately got scammed by a fake guide—so please be careful! Also, keep in mind that the stairs are quite steep. Aside from those points, my stay was absolutely perfect.

Schöne Aufenthalt bei Riad Al Ansari. Wir blieben im oberen Zimmer und konnten die Dachterrasse leicht nutzen. Wenn Sie ein bisschen Treppen berücksichtigen, aber wir haben wirklich genossen. Das Bett ist wunderschön, die Dusche ist super, und die Klimaanlage heiß das Zimmer gut (im Winter) und darüber hinaus gab es ein kleines Whirlpool im Badezimmer. So haben wir es nicht kalt. Das Frühstück war großartig und schön. Jeden Tag gab es etwas anderes, was wir probieren konnten. Die Kommunikation mit Hicham (Manager) war ausgezeichnet, und wir wurden gut besorgt. Am ersten Abend hatten wir auch ein 2-mal Abendessen gebucht, das war schön. Die Lage ist auch super. Sie sind in 5 Minuten in der Medina und Sie können auch in der Nähe mit einem Taxi verkauft werden. Die Riad fühlt sich sehr ruhig nach dem Druck der Medina. Zweifeln Sie nicht, nur buchen! Ps berücksichtigt die Ramadankanon. Das war für uns so schrecklich, als du nicht weißt, was es ist. Es geht um 3:30 und um 5:15 Uhr. Aber das wird du natürlich in ganz Fez hören.

Unglaubliche Riad! Ein schöner, bequemer Ort, auch wenn Sie wollen, können Sie nicht auf dem Weg zum Riad verlieren. Reinigung wurde jeden Tag gemacht, gab sehr gute Qualität Kosmetik für die Seele und den Körper. Das Zimmer war Klimaanlage, so kalte Nächte, die wir in der Wärme verbrachten. Erstaunlich schöne Fenster, Stapel; die Aussicht auf den Innenhof ist sehr schön. Frühstück ist sehr groß, zufriedenstellend und lecker. Personal ist sehr freundlich, sorgfältig! Für alle 1000% empfehle ich diese Riad! Vielen Dank, wir werden sicher wieder zurückkommen 🫶🏻
