4-Sterne-Hotels in Präfektur Okayama, Japan

The staff I came came across were all very polite and had welcoming smiles, no matter at the reception desk or the restaurant on 20/F. I enjoyed my stay here, but it felt comparable to the 3 star hotels, just slightly better especially thanks to the fabulous breakfast and location of breakfast…If hotels have half stars, i would think it’s’more of a 3.5 star hotel instead of a 4. I have a few suggestions which the hotel can look into to improve in the future. 3 Things to improve on: 1) I picked this hotel because I read other reviews saying the hotel is connected to a bridge from the Okayama station. This is true but unfortunately there were no signs in the station to guide travellers unlike another hotel like Granvia. Google suggested that I look for the west exit which I did, but I ended up being at the ground level hence had to bring big suitcase all the stairs…then I spotted the bridge and ANA crowne plaza from the street 2) cleanliness can be improved. There’s a UCC drip coffee machine in the room. I don’t drink coffee, and the box for the drip coffee selection was refilled. However I spotted a used capsule on the floor near the wall. The bin was not blocking the view, so the cleaners could’ve easily spotted the rubbish if they had been a little more careful and looked under the table when they have to clear out the rubbish bin anyway. 3) I sent a message to the hotel via TRIP.com. The message wasn’t replied promptly, as in within a few hours. Ultimately it didn’t matter anymore, I arrived at the hotel before somebody managed to reply me. Maybe it’s the system that’s problematic which may have caused a lag? Or staff only look at mails/messages when not too busy at the front desk?

Our stay at Hotel Granvia was exceptional. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. What truly stood out, however, was the hospitality; the staff were remarkably kind and helpful, going out of their way to assist us. Combined with its convenient location, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

I stayed at this cabin hotel for two nights to visit Naoshima Island and it was a truly great experience. If you are looking for a unique and high-quality stay, I highly recommend it. The Highlights: • Service & Food: The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. A huge standout was the breakfast, it was exceptionally fresh and delicious! • The Cabin: For a ”cabin” style accommodation, the space felt surprisingly roomy. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept quite well. Addressing the ”Security” Concern: Before booking, I was a bit hesitant because of previous reviews mentioning that the cabins do not lock. However, after staying there, I didn't find this to be an issue at all. I never felt unsafe and it didn't take away from the experience. Good to Know: The only thing to be aware of is that since it is a shared sleeping hall, you can hear some noise from other guests. However, in my experience, it was still a very pleasant and calm environment. I honestly have nothing negative to say, it’s a perfect spot for travelers heading to the art islands!

Die Lage ist hervorragend: Das Hotel ist nur 5 Gehminuten vom JR-Bahnhof entfernt. Bei heißem Wetter kann man den Weg bequem durch den angeschlossenen Supermarkt nutzen. In der direkten Umgebung findet man zudem beliebte Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Takashimaya, Aeon und Don Quijote. Die Lobby ist geräumig, die Zimmer sind allerdings eher kompakt. Die Ausstattung überzeugt: Es gibt einen Eiswürfelbereiter, eine Mikrowelle und Verkaufsautomaten. Im 10. Stockwerk stehen ein öffentlicher Badebereich (大浴場) sowie Waschmaschinen zur Verfügung. Ein weiteres Plus ist, dass im Erdgeschoss ab 13 Uhr kostenlose Getränke und kleine Kekse angeboten werden.

かなり綺麗で素敵なホテルでした。 アメニティが少し不足していましたが、フロントに連絡したところ、すぐに持ってきてくださいました。 また食事用の割り箸も提供してくれて助かりました。 チェックイン前にも関わらず、フロントで荷物を預かってくださいました。 アフタヌーンティーもとても美味しかったです。 美観地区が真横ですぐ行けるロケーションも最高でした。

Such a lovely and unique hotel. The Onsen was very pleasant and spacious. You can rent beautiful electric bikes if you plan on visiting the islands. Restaurant is not bad, breakfast is varied and pretty good. Would recommend!

Ich lebte zum ersten Mal, es war ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Es ist groß genug, um fünf Familienmitglieder zu beherbergen, sehr komfortabel! Diese Position ist auf der Karte schwer zu verstehen, aber lokal leicht zu verstehen. Ein wenig von der Straße zu gehen, aber nicht schwer zu verstehen. Es gibt einen Nebenparkplatz, aber es gibt viele andere Parkplätze umgeben, so dass es einfach ist, weil das Auto in der Nähe parkieren kann. Da es nahe der Station liegt, können Sie einfach an der Station ankommen oder leicht an Ario und Otles ankommen, so dass es sehr bequem ist zu kaufen! Selbst wenn Sie eine schöne Gegend suchen, ist sie relativ nah, so dass Sie sie genießen können. Ich will noch ein paar Nächte leben.

Es ist eine sehr gute Unterkunft! Lage und Umgebung sind großartig, die Wolken sind auch sehr groß! Es ist zu komfortabel, ich entspanne mich, sobald ich ins Zimmer bin, und ich vergaß, das Foto zu machen (lächeln). Das Foto zeigte, dass es so komfortabel ist! Die einzige Beschwerde ist, dass es keinen Kühlraum im Kühlschrank gibt. Vielen Dank für einen schönen Tag aus Taiwan!

Die Landschaft ist so schön, sehr komfortabel und erstklassiger Service! Die Inhaberin und das Fahrpersonal sind nett und freundlich! Wenn Sie einen jrpass kaufen, können Sie einen Abhol- und Bringtermin vereinbaren. Es ist kostenlos am Bahnhof Kurayoshi und Autobahngebühren am Bahnhof Tsuyama, aber es lohnt sich. Zeit ist Geld. Ich habe ein kleines Geschenk gemacht, bevor ich endlich gegangen bin, und freue mich darauf, beim nächsten Mal wieder dorthin zu gehen!
