Great hotel! The prettiest, greatest hotel in the area. We had a room with a balcony view to the mountains, so calming and relaxing. If you want to rest from the hustle and bustle of the city, here’s the perfect place for you. The bathroom is very clean and hygenic, and the beds are also really comfy and fluffy. The owner is really hospitable, welcoming and friendly, he is really familiar with the area so he recommended us a lot of different places and good restaurants. He helped us during all our stay. It is true that the hotel is a little bit far away from the nearest town, but it is really worth it because at the end, it is not far away (15 min by car) from the nearest Huangshan entrance. We would definitely go back there!! 超棒的酒店！这一带最漂亮、最棒的酒店。我们住了一间带阳台的山景房，景色宁静又治愈。如果你想远离城市的喧嚣，这里绝对是理想之选。浴室非常干净卫生，床也超级舒适柔软。 老板热情好客、友善亲切，对当地非常熟悉，给我们推荐了很多好去处和美食餐厅。整个住宿期间他都提供了很多帮助。虽然酒店离最近的小镇有点远，但绝对值得 —— 毕竟开车到最近的黄山入口只要15分钟。我们一定会再来！

A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

My stay in Tingquan Xiaoyuan has been absolutely delightful. I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge. The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day. The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night. The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre. In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family. I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language. I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

Ich habe während der Haungshan-Wanderung in diesem Hotel übernachtet und würde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Der industrielle Stil des Hotels hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer war komfortabel und sauber. Der Besitzer ist ein Highlight. Wir haben uns eine Weile unterhalten und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Er hat mir Tipps für meine Route gegeben und wir konnten uns über die Kultur unserer Länder austauschen. Er spricht sehr gut Englisch. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm!

Das war ein fantastisches Aufenthalt für mich für einen Tag. Ich hatte einen Zug am nächsten Morgen vom Bahnhof zu fangen und ich konnte nicht glauben, dass dieses Hotel so gut war! Die Zimmergröße war groß, sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich musste eine Didi-Reise nehmen und konnte nicht herausfinden, das Personal kam ganz in der Nähe des Fahrpunkts und zeigte mir die Richtungen. Es ist nicht einer dieser günstigen und einfach schlafen und gehen eine Art von Hotels. Es ist ein sehr komfortabel und gut geführtes Hotel. Die einzige Nebenwirkung, die ich sagen würde, ist, dass sie nicht im Haus Frühstück haben, aber sie geben Ihnen einen Gutschein, um in einem nahe gelegenen Lebensmittelgeschäft im Bahnhof zu verwenden. Und das kann man selbst tun. So sehe ich keinen Verdienst bei der Buchung eines Zimmers mit Frühstück, aber der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm, sehr entspannt und ehrlich gesagt, ich wurde von der Qualität meines Aufenthaltes abgestürzt!

Eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, die chinesische Gastfreundschaft zu erleben. Ich habe mit meiner Katze geblieben und wir waren sehr willkommen. Der Besitzer ist sehr aufmerksam und blickt gut auf seine Gäste. Es ist gut zu wissen, dass die Rezeption im 3. Stock ist. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel. Ein ruhiger Bereich und Haus, nur perfekt, wenn Sie eine gute Ruhe brauchen oder mit einem anspruchsvollen Haustier reisen.

The owner is a charmant woman who is very adaptable, kind and helpful. The Room and the globality of the hostel is clean and very well arranged. I loved My Stay there.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, Tante Liu ist sehr enthusiastisch, hat in der Volksgemeicht gegessen, sehr lecker, Tante hat mir helfen, das Auto nach Tang Tung zu kontaktieren, sehr billig, weil ich die Familienbranche gesehen habe, die Karte zu kriegen, Tang Tang ist so schön, Yang Tang Tang, das Leben ohne Tang. Und ein wenig, die Position ist zu schwach, ich bin müde, direkt zurück zu den Leuten und zu gehen, und dann zu spielen, nachdem ich die Fischlampe gesehen habe, ist es auch sehr bequem, sehr gut, zufrieden 👍

Wir waren auf unserer Reise nach Huangshan in diesem Hostel und sind wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Besitzerin ist wunderschön, herzlich, freundlich und liebenswert. Sie ist sehr aufrichtig und hilfsbereit und kümmert sich wie ein Familienmitglied um einen, was einem ein warmes Gefühl gibt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich, die Ausstattung ist komplett, der Aufenthalt ist bequem und sicher, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Die Lage ist praktisch, die Anreise ist einfach und die Umgebung ist ruhig. Ich kann es Freunden, die nach Huangshan kommen, wärmstens empfehlen!
