Modern Technology: The inclusion of a Smart TV with seamless access to streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube significantly enhanced the in-room entertainment experience. Property Ambience: The hotel maintains a highly pleasant olfactory branding strategy; a subtle, welcoming fragrance is consistently present from the main lobby through to the guest corridors. Areas for Improvement (Operational & Service Delivery) Front Desk Engagement: There was a noticeable lack of welcoming engagement from the reception staff during both the check-in and check-out processes. While operations were functional, a more hospitable and customer-centric demeanor would greatly improve the arrival and departure experience. Rigid Housekeeping Policies: When requesting an additional towel, I was informed by housekeeping that this would incur an extra fee. Charging for basic linens feels counterintuitive to a premium guest experience and lacks a guest-first approach. Management Outlook: There appears to be a systemic complacency regarding guest relations, potentially driven by high occupancy rates and strong business demand. High volume should not compromise standard hospitality practices. Conclusion The physical property is in excellent condition, which ultimately guaranteed a comfortable and productive stay. While the hardware of the hotel is top-tier, the software specifically staff hospitality and guest policies requires refinement. I booked 1 night stay here because I was heading to Hat Yai by train and thought this would be a good place to stay. However, the location is remote and nothing nearby so you are reliant on Grab even for food which will cost you more in delivery than the bcost of the food itself. With the benefit of hindsight, it would have been better to stay in the town of Padang Basar itself where food and drink would be available in walking distance and you are not too far from the border with Thailand. There is no restaurant on site but there is a Cafe which which offers basic stuff and, as far as I could make out, it not open all the time - hence my need to order food via Grab delivery. When you first turn the shower on for a hot shower, only cold water comes out, I waited a couple of minutes letting the shower run but it was still running cold so I went to Reception to ask about it. The young man at Reception initially said it was down to a Maintenance issue so I asked if it affects ALL the rooms or just mine. If only my room was affected then I should be moved to another room which had hot water in the shower. I said that I must best have a hot shower in the morning and the young man said he was the same as he also prefers to have a hot shower in the morning. The young man said he will try to find out before morning. A few minutes later, he came to the room and .said that we nust let the shower run for a few minutes and, sure enough, he was right as hot water started coming through. So, for the benefit of other guests, remember to run the shower for 5 minutes or so to get hot water. So, it was not a maintenance issue at all. On the positive side, after I ordered soup/food to be delivered by Grab, there was no crockery in the room nor any cutlery to eat the food with. The grab driver asked the hotel Reception young man for help and the hotel kindly provided a bowl and steel cutlery so I could have my food. This was very much appreciated so thank you to the young man at Reception who was on duty that evening.

The best thing about the hotel is its location if you’re needing to catch the ferry to Langkawi. Only 50 meters away. The hotel is in close proximity to a mosque so there will be regular calls heard. However I don’t believe that there would be a singular hotel in this town out of earshot. Cleanliness was good. Good working shower. No jug with tea and coffee. Linen provided was clean and appeared in good condition. Overall a good stay.

Andere sind ok. Hotel Telefonlinie funktioniert nicht.. wir haben Rezeption mit eigenem Telefon angerufen

Check-in war reibungslos, Empfänger Cik Aina war freundlich, um Fragen zu besuchen gestellt. Zimmer war sauber und teuer. Sie lieferten freien Zuckerfluss in ihrer Lobby. Eisenbahn und Wasserdispenser wurden auch auf dem Korridor oder auf jeder Ebene angeboten Das Frühstücksangebot war lecker mit mehr als einer Option zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis. Empfohlen.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Kuala Perlis Jetty und ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Al-Hussain-Moschee ist nur etwa 3 Gehminuten entfernt. Vom Hotel aus hat man Meerblick, Blick auf die Moschee, Fischrestaurants und einen großen Parkplatz. Das Essen im Hotel ist für malaysische Gaumen sehr lecker, die Auswahl ist zwar etwas kleiner, aber das Restaurant ist trotzdem gut besucht. Das Zimmer ist für ein Standard-Zweibettzimmer etwas klein, aber wir waren trotzdem zufrieden.
