The hotel itself was so good, unless there were not many things to do around there, the locating was 3 minutes from the shin yamaguchi station.

소도시 호텔이지만 시설이 좋음. 룸컨디션 최고점. 직원 친절함. 조식은 가지수가 많지 않치만 맛있음. 역에서 조금 떨어져 있지만 주변에 편의점. 식당. 디저트샵 등 있음. 대욕장이 정말 좋은편임. 재방문 의사 충분히 있음.

I had a truly wonderful stay at VIA INN SHIMONOSEKI and would happily give it a well-deserved 5-star review. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from Shimonoseki Station, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and onward travel. Whether you’re exploring the Kanmon Straits or heading out for a day trip, everything feels effortlessly accessible. The room was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable, especially by Japanese business hotel standards. The bed provided excellent support, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day of travel. Despite being near the station, the room was quiet and peaceful. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were consistently polite, efficient, and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of Japanese and Western options, perfect for starting the day on a satisfying note. Overall, VIA INN SHIMONOSEKI offers exceptional value, comfort, and convenience. I would highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shimonoseki.

Einfaches kleines Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr bescheiden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Buchzimmer mit einem Schlauch ist, aber es ist tatsächlich eine Dusche, es ist eine kleine Enttäuschung. Great business hotel. Clean and tidy, helpful stuff (not to mention some of them speak English), good Japanese-style breakfasts. Not scary cold inside! (and believe me, it’s a special point to be considered). The hotel was chosen because of its location and type. All business hotels are plus-minus the same, but that one was even better than usual ones. Location: 4 minuted walk to Shimonoseki station (and maybe 12 to a ferry terminal) with a range of buses, a shopping center and several convenience stores. Absolutely costs its money. My choice for next stops at Shimonoseki.

Beautiful Onsen hotel. Visiting a friend at Yuda Onsen, and chanced upon Onn. Japanese standard of service and cleanliness, price is reasonable as well. I love how i could visit the onsen as many times I want. For those who are too shy, you can book one of the two private onsen rooms for ¥3500 per hr which is pretty reasonable in my opinion. Free flow of coffee at the coffee machine at the reception. Too many great things at this hotel to be written in a few words. Only downside would be the really tiny rooms but most Japanese hotels are tiny anyway.

My flight arrival on the early morning, and reached the hotel around 13.45-14.00. And I wanna leave luggages at the room and hope to hurry to visit another sightseeing on afternoon. But actually the hotel ignore early check-in, so I must paid 1000 yen for nothing to do at the room. I think the hotel don’t get any good mindset to traveler and don’t have any flexible about the rule of conditions. Traveling at japan disappoints and more getting tired to understand their service mind.
