Excellent location, only 6 minutes from Gatwick. On bus route. Accommodation is ideal for an overnight stay. Comfy bed, tea/coffee making facilities 5 minute walk to Horley town where you can find lots of shops, food outlets etc.. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend, will return if flying from Gatwick again.

We booked this hotel as we have a morning flight to catch. This hotel is connected to the North Terminal of London Gatwick airport by a corridor. The check in process was done within 2 mins, elevator is operated by room key card, which is extra security. The beds are comfy and was great to watch Eastenders to wrap up our trip in London. The breakfast is great, I must praise the service of the gentleman ”Bill” who was proactively so helpful to all the customers. I love the British sausages there, it's a shame they dun have fried eggs. But the yoghurt, toast, croissants, conflakes are all there, not to forget a waffle machine, for people to have fun with - I mean having fun during brekkie.

Buchung 4 Zimmer über zwei Nächte so Geschäftsleute, sagte ich, ich könnte nur die besten westlichen Pfund für das Zimmer, das ich geblieben habe, unabhängig von der Buchung und Zahlung für sie alle, Personal kann nur so nein oder ich kann nicht, diese Filter von der Manager so vorbereitet für schreckliche Service und ehrlich müde und grubbig Innenräume

Das Hotel braucht etwas Reinigung und Renovierung in den Zimmern, aber der Rezeptionist ist sehr nett. Ich fühlte mich sehr gut empfangen. Ich empfehle es, wenn Sie es bei einer oder zwei Notnachten brauchen.

Ich blieb im Travelodge in Egham, da es nahe am Flughafen war, wo ich meine erste Fluglehrung nahme. Das Hotel war sehr komfortabel in einer idealen Lage. Ayshe auf der Rezeption war sehr willkommen und freundlich. Ich würde dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Breakfast should have been served until 10 am. We got into the restaurant 9.15 and there was hardly anything left, One spoonful of scrambled egg which I had to gather from around the pan for my husband - none for me, no bacon, no sausage, no hash brown or tomato. They did have beans!! Having asked and waited, we got a bit of bacon and some sausages that were so hard we could hardly cut them!! Then , at 10am they asked us to leave the room because they had to get it ready for something else. Our bedroom was ok but there was a skylight in the roof and the sun came flooding in just after 4 am so I didn’t sleep. Waste of time having black out curtains at the window when you don’t cover the skylight. The teaspoons on the dressing table had not been washed. The shower was nice but the water came out all over the floor - our friends had the same in their room. All in all not a good experience and I wouldn’t stay there again. I did mention all of this to the reception guy but he just smiled at me. Not sure if he spoke English!

I stayed in room 3 on the ground floor and I thought the experience as a whole was alright, gets the job done if that’s all you need. There were some things I thought were a bit strange however. The shower was the main thing, it was stuck on full power which was crazy fast. It also didn’t stay in place because it was so powerful and kept turning into the wall. When I had pointed it facing out, it would point to the window (which was in the shower) and begin to fill up the window sill. Additionally, the sliding door had broken and it was replaced with a flimsy shower curtain which Barry managed to cover the gap. The room was a little dark but other than that was fine. The bed was fine too. Dinner is room service or you can have it in the bar area if you’d like. There isn’t a restaurant however and the bar area isn’t incredibly suitable for a meal with a family, fine on my own though. The menu consisted of pub food and each item was between £11-15 for the majority. There is a pizza and alcohol deal for £15 which is what I had, which was fine. Breakfast was £11.75 I think and was a buffet in one of the service rooms and was pretty good. Overall I think my experience was pretty poor but the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite

The hotel was very quiet and the young men covering the front desk and breakfast service were very helpful and friendly. They even helped us order food one night, one of them using his own phone to call for us. We certainly got the feel of staying in a historic place, the only complaint was the many stairs and no lift! Otherwise, we had a lovely visit.

We stayed at Orchid Epsom for 10 days and had a truly comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel is very well located with good accessibility to both local transport and nearby attractions, making it easy for us to get around during our trip. The property is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained — perfect for families looking for a calm place to return to after a busy day in London. What really stood out was the wonderful staff who made our stay memorable. A big thank you to Akhil, Nikhil, Abhishek, Hava, Safa, Ali, Darshini, and Laura — each of them went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of. Their friendly attitude, helpful suggestions, and warm hospitality made us feel at home. Overall, Orchid Epsom is a great choice for anyone visiting the area — a peaceful stay with exceptional staff and great service. Highly recommended, and we’d happily stay here again.

Ich war am Hotel wegen eines wichtigen Geschäftstreffens am nächsten Tag, leider wurde mein Schlaf am 2.00 Uhr mit einem Feueralarm ausgehen wegen anderer Hotelgäste, ich wartete auf eine Art Erstattung oder einen Rabatt aus meinem nächsten Aufenthalt, wie ich habe Das Hotel wurde oft für Geschäftsreisen genutzt, aber nichts angeboten wurde und die Unterbrechung in meinem Schlaf beeinflusste meine Geschäftsreise am nächsten Tag, sehr enttäuscht über die Art und Weise, wie das gehandhabt wurde.
