Sehr gute Lage zum Stadtzentrum und andere Attraktionen. Guter Service, auch der Schwimmbad und Jacuzzi waren sauber und war warm.

Sehr gutes Hotel. Sehr gut umgeben, also nicht wirklich bekommen, wenn Leute billige Hotels buchen und sich beschweren, dass es nicht 5* 😂 ist. Lage ist erstaunlich. Der See ist schön. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich nett. Zimmer haben alles, was Sie brauchen und sind ziemlich geräumig. Das Essen ist wirklich gut, obwohl ein wenig teuer, aber immer noch gut groß.

The hotel was easy to find, located right by the main road. The rooms were quite small, and with luggage, the space felt a bit tight. However, there was a small outdoor balcony with a table and two chairs, which provided a nice spot to sit and eat. The rooms looked modern and recently renovated. The bathroom was well-designed, featuring sleek black tiles and gold fixtures, and the hot water worked perfectly. One of the best features of the room was the separate sink area, along with a microwave and fridge. This was especially convenient for heating up food or enjoying ready-to-eat meals from the nearby Aldi if you’re too tired to head out. The room also came with a kettle, coffee, tea, and even a chocolate wafer as a thoughtful welcome touch. There is no reception desk at this hotel, so it’s important to have internet access as check-in is fully digital. You’ll receive your room number via email just before your arrival. Make sure to complete the online pre-check-in to confirm your stay and receive further instructions. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient one-night stay.

Dieses Hotel war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für unsere Erkundung der Isle of Skye! Der Check-in verlief problemlos, es gab ausreichend Parkplätze (einige nah, andere etwas weiter entfernt), das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine gute Auswahl, und auch das Abendessen im Hotel war hervorragend. Es hieß zwar, dass nicht immer warmes Wasser verfügbar sei, aber wir hatten jedes Mal warmes Wasser mit tollem Wasserdruck beim Duschen! Ein preiswertes und unkompliziertes Hotel!

When we arrived all the available car parking was full and we ended up parking in the next street outside someone's house. The room was compact which we expected as we had booked a small room. Check in was very quick and information was given to us regarding the hotel and breakfast. Our room was very clean, if a little dated. When we switched on the TV it would not screen any programs. We phoned reception and they sent someone within five minutes to sort out the problem which turned out to be a fault with the aerial cable. Breakfast was well organised and the service and food quality and selection was good. Overall the hotel was convenient and ideal for us on a one night stay on our way back from the Hebrides and we would certainly stay here again if we do the same journey in the future

The hotel has a great location with beautiful views, including a lovely lake view, which was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. However, the hotel itself feels quite old, and the room was small, basic, and could have been better maintained. The cleanliness and overall upkeep were average, and there were not many amenities provided. It felt more like a simple room suitable for a short one-night stay rather than somewhere I would choose for a longer visit. The hotel does offer room upgrades, but these come at an additional cost of £25 per room per night, which is something to consider. Overall, it was an average stay — not bad, but not particularly impressive either. The location is the strongest point, but the rooms and facilities could benefit from improvement.

Overall feedback: We had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The property is spacious enough for a group of 3–4 people, and it was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We really enjoyed how peaceful and secluded it felt — it truly is a hideaway away from the buzz of the tourist city centre. A small suggestion: It would be helpful to provide clearer directions and notes on how to find the property. The address on Google Maps directed us to a different house, which caused some confusion. In fact, the owner of that house mentioned that they frequently receive visitors who are looking for this Airbnb and have to redirect them to the correct property. Perhaps clearer driving directions, landmarks, or a note in the check-in instructions about the Google Maps issue would make it much easier for future guests to find the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the peaceful location!

Meine Mutter und ich blieben hier für eine Nacht, wir wollten etwas Besonderes und wir hatten eine wunderbare Erfahrung! Dieses Hotel ist vielleicht alt, aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass es Teil des Charme war, vor allem weil Sie ein Papier auf dem Büro holen können, das Ihnen alles über die Geschichte davon erzählt (einschließlich wie Mae West ein Zimmer dort hatte!). Der Mann an der Rezeption war nett, wie die Bar-Personal, und wir hatten einen großen Schlaf in einem gemütlichen, schön thematisierten Zimmer mit einem großen Badezimmer. Meine Mutter schätzte besonders die Bibel auch im Bettseite. Das war vielleicht von einem Gast getan worden, aber es war schön, dass das Personal es trotzdem dort verließ, wenn jemand es lesen wollte. Es gab eine Reihe von kleinen Touchs wie das, und wir hatten eine Gartenblick, die schön war. Auch das Frühstück wurde in unsere Buchung aufgenommen, und es ist es wert! Ich empfehle diesen Aufenthalt für jeden, der eine schöne Nacht in der schottischen Landschaft sucht!
