GGastnutzerOn arrival the holiday centre was as photographed on the website, fresh, bright, airy and modernised. Apartments are spacious with 2 wide single beds pushed together in the main room which leads off on to an exceptionally generous size balcony. Plenty of room for kids to play, loungers and table and chairs etc. the bed in the hallway (pull down from wall) was comfy and great for my 9 year old son. The livingroom couches were also single beds and of good quality and wide enough, seem some very slim, thin ones before - these were very comfy although never slept in by us as my daughter had a cot.
Check in and out was seamless but be aware a deposit is taken (around £10 per night and given back at end of apartment is left satisfactory) so factor this in to your spends needed initially.
The thing that stood out for us as a family was the lovely man and his assistants who ran the kids club, entertainment, pool games and really engaged with the children despite his obviously long days. They are a credit to the hotel and I don’t think it would attract as many families if this small but important team weren’t on board - my son Jacob loved kids club and made some great friends for the week.
Now is still recommend this hotel with given some recommendations to change things. The hotel caters to very large, roudy crowds of preteens/teens on school holiday stays. They are chaotic and woke our toddler several times, running through corridors screaming, taking up lift where pushchairs and wheelchair users should have priority and teens/groups managed more carefully as they would be if from anywhere else. Called to reception to complain and inform but was pretty much brushed off as they’re excited. Just not great for the rest of us also wanting to enjoy our apartment, sleep and have children. We waited an incredibly long time with 20-30 teens in front of us. I called down to reception one evening as they were shouting, banging and screaming in the halls. Some hotels do not cater to exceptionally large groups for this reason, especially when catering to family holidays also - I’d only stay again if I knew there was no large groups such as this booked to stay. We only ate breakfast the last morning as we preferred to go out to dinners etc as a social thing in the evenings with the children as we don’t drink alcohol much when have young children with us. Food was as expected in hotels, nothing bad to note and plenty of options which are the norm.
If you like quiet this hotel might not be for you. Po. Kew is loud due to entertainment although this didn’t bother us with it stopping at 11pm but the ‘quieter’ side facing out to the road/side was filled with already mentioned large groups of teens shouting back and forth to each other continually. Highly recommend checking if these school trips are on when booking if you like a quiet, relaxed family holiday (most of us do when we have young children).
All in all the hotel is great location, good sized rooms and entertainment for much younger children but would be put off returning due to the issues mentioned.

Mmasoud jamDue to our late flight, we arrived at the hotel around 1 a.m. The receptionist on duty was a very kind and friendly young lady who welcomed us warmly. Unfortunately, our request for hotel slippers could not be accommodated. Since it was very late and we were exhausted, we went straight to bed.
The next morning, however, we noticed that the room was not particularly clean, especially the bathroom, where there were some hairs on the floor and around the sink. After speaking with the morning reception staff, housekeeping cleaned the room and the issue was resolved.
The hotel’s location is very good, with easy access to the city center even on foot. Public transportation connections are also excellent, with both bus and metro stations conveniently nearby.
The breakfast was fairly basic and nothing special. The hotel photos advertise a rooftop swimming pool, and there are indeed pictures of it, but in reality it is more like a small plunge pool than an actual swimming pool, as it is quite small.
Overall, our stay was decent and in line with what you would reasonably expect from a 3-star hotel, but not more than that. We later realized that for a similar price, it is possible to find 4-star hotels in Barcelona with slightly better facilities and amenities.

Summary:
We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed.
Room:
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests.
Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable.
Service:
The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Location:
The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient.
Facilities:
The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city.
Food and Drink:
We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out.
Value for Money:
The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities.
Tips/Recommendations:
This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer.
We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

GGastnutzerDer Empfang und das Personal waren sehr freundlich. Wir bekamen hilfreiche Tipps für unseren Lissabon-Besuch 😊. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel und mit einer Flasche Wasser, einem Wasserkocher und Tee ausgestattet. Zur Begrüßung gab es außerdem nette Aufmerksamkeiten wie Süßigkeiten, Gebäck und Limonade.

Es liegt direkt gegenüber der Plaza Catalunya und ist daher leicht erreichbar. Die Zimmer und Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren sauber. Die Snack- und Getränkebar ist rund um die Uhr geöffnet, was sehr praktisch war.
Ich fragte an der Rezeption nach und sie empfahlen mir einen Münzwaschsalon in der Nähe. Er war sauber und die Wartezeit war nicht allzu lang.
Wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe, Barcelona noch einmal zu besuchen, würde ich gerne wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.

みみんことIch bin eine Frau in meinen Zwanzigern und reise alleine. Das Zimmer ist ein 8-Personen-Frauenzimmer. Am Bett befindet sich eine Steckdose. Da es keine Vorhänge gab, mussten sich die Personen auf der unteren Koje mit Handtüchern zudecken. Es gibt keine Schließfachschlüssel, bringen Sie also am besten Ihre eigenen mit! Ich habe es vergessen, aber Sie können an der Rezeption Handtücher ausleihen. (Es kostet Geld.) Es scheint auch, dass man sich einen Haartrockner ausleihen kann. Es gibt einen Haartrockner im Zimmer, aber er ist klein, daher denke ich, dass es für Leute mit langen Haaren schwierig sein könnte. Mir ging es total gut! Ich war Ende Mai dort und das Zimmer war heiß, also stelle ich mir vor, dass es im Hochsommer heiß sein muss. Außerdem war es einfach, überall hinzukommen. Toll war, dass ich viele Orte innerhalb von 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Ich würde es gerne wieder nutzen, wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe, nach Barcelona zu fahren!

CCzxiangEs ist etwas weit vom U-Bahn-Eingang entfernt. Das Drei-Sterne-Hotel liegt etwas weit vom U-Bahn-Eingang entfernt. Die Gegend, in der es liegt, sieht tagsüber gut aus, aber nachts ist es etwas abgelegen und fühlt sich für Mädchen nicht sicher genug an.
Als Drei-Sterne-Hotel ist der Preis nicht hoch.
Ich habe am Morgen des 8. mit dem Hotelpersonal gesprochen und vereinbart, vor ein Uhr auszuchecken. Es war das letzte Hotel, das ich während dieser Reise getroffen habe. Das für den Check-out zuständige männliche Personal war sehr freundlich und geduldig.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel liegt in einer Gasse mit Zugang zur Hauptstraße auf beiden Seiten. Die Transportmöglichkeiten sind sehr bequem, einschließlich Flughafenbus, U-Bahn und Bus. Sie können die Kathedrale, den Markt, das Picasso-Museum usw. zu Fuß erreichen. Am Ausgang der Gasse befindet sich ein großes Einkaufszentrum und im Untergeschoss befindet sich ein großer Supermarkt, in dem Sie verschiedene frisch zubereitete Köstlichkeiten kaufen können , Desserts und andere Speisen sind sehr reichhaltig. Das Hotelzimmer ist sehr sauber und ordentlich und der Service ist aufmerksam. Ich habe beim Auschecken vergessen, meinen Reisepass im Safe zu lassen, aber sie haben ihn mir auch zurückgegeben. Wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Barcelona gehe, werde ich dieses Hotel wählen.
