I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, mit einem einfachen und eleganten Design. Ich mag den kleinen Tisch am Fenster. Ich kann sitzen und Tee trinken, während ich aus dem Fenster schaue. Vor dem Fenster sind Reisfelder. Ich habe den ganzen Nachmittag dort verbracht. Es war so bequem! Das Zimmer ist komplett ausgestattet, Getränke sind im Kühlschrank vorhanden und das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und exquisit. Der Service des Ladens ist sehr aufmerksam. Im Dorf gibt es Verkehrsbeschränkungen, was etwas lästig ist. Der Chef ist mit dem Motorrad gefahren, um uns beim Abholen und Abgeben unseres Gepäcks zu helfen. Es gibt mehrere süße und wohlerzogene Katzen im Laden. Es macht großen Spaß, im Laden zu sitzen, die Katzen zu streicheln und mit dem Chef zu plaudern. Es war eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung und ich werde wiederkommen, wenn ich die Gelegenheit dazu habe.

What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sehr gut, die Rezeption hat uns das Zimmer des ersten Gebäudes aktualisiert. Ich fühle mich immer noch sehr gut mit dem Wohngefühl des ersten Gebäudes und empfehle das erste Gebäude bei ausreichender Haushaltsausstattung. Im Landschaftsgebiet gibt es einen Gepäcktransportservice, das Hotel wird Ihnen helfen, direkt in das Zimmer zu schicken. Im Keller kann man auch einen Ausflug direkt zum Hoteltoral machen. Das Zimmer ist gut geräuschlos, sehr sauber und verfügt über einen Teppich. Die Dusche ist getrennt und es gibt zwei Handtücher. Das Hotel hat auch Fruchtsäfte geschickt. Das Frühstück am nächsten Tag ist sehr groß und es gibt Chinesen und Westen. Das Hotel ist in der Halbinsel noch ein wenig von der zentralen Landschaft entfernt, aber man sollte sich auf andere Hotels setzen können, die näher sind, und dann zum Kernlandschaftsgebiet gehen. Insgesamt ist es immer noch ein gutes Erlebnis in der Wurm.

Amazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging. Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to. As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings. We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey.

Die Lage des B&B ist sehr gut, die Einrichtungen sind sauber und vollständig und es gibt einen Projektor und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Der Hauptgrund für die Wahl dieses Ortes ist die Landschaft. Der Blick in die Landschaft vor dem Fenster ist sehr gut und man kann morgens am Feld frühstücken. Auch der Service durch den Chef und seine Frau war sehr gut. Am Ortseingang angekommen fuhr uns der Chef abholen. Da am Tag des Check-ins nicht viele Leute da waren, bekamen wir ein Upgrade auf ein Deluxe-Zimmer. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt hier eine sehr gute Erfahrung.

Dieses Aufenthaltserlebnis ist besonders zufriedenstellend, das Hotel insgesamt ist sauber und elegant, das Zimmer ist sehr gut beleuchtet, die Layouts sind warm und komfortabel, die Badezubehör sind vollständig. Der Rezeptionservice ist enthusiastisch und detailliert, die Reaktion ist rechtzeitig und die Einstellung ist besonders gut. Die geografische Lage ist überlegen, die Reise in der Wangxi Street ist sehr bequem, der Preis ist praktisch, der Gesamtpreis ist sehr hoch, stark empfohlen, die nächste Reise wird wiederkommen.

酒店環境非常好，非常乾淨，隔音很好，工作人員也非常禮貌熱情。酒店在貴陽北站西廣場，離得很近，步行可到，但要走地下通道，有行李或者不想走路的時候打車來回高鐵站也很方便，我們是住在這裏分別坐高鐵來回了黃果樹瀑布和千户苗寨，去貴陽市區也不遠。酒店附近非常多吃的，飯店火鍋烙鍋小吃便利店酸奶應有盡有。給個好評～

Unsere Familie von fünf – eine Großmutter, 80+years alt, zwei Erwachsene und zwei Jugendliche hatte eine wunderbare Zeit bei Huangguoshu (Gelbfrüchtebaum) in Guizhou. Huangguoshu Wasserfall ist der größte Wasserfall in Asien, der 67 Meter hoch und 83.3 Meter breit ist. Das gesamte Huangguoshu-Szenengebiet bestand aus 18 Wasserfallen, die es zum größten Wasserfallcluster der Welt machen. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Hotel. Das Frühstück frisch Noodle war unser Lieblingsteil. Nach dem täglichen Abenteuerausflug zum Nationalpark genossen wir die schöne Dusche und konnten gesund schlafen in der Nacht, das Zimmer ist sauber und neue, Außenumfeld war ruhig. Am Tag der Abreise wechselte unser selbstgeregelter Transporter das Fahrzeug von einem 6-seater SUV in einen 21-Sitzplatz-Bus, den wir abgelehnt haben. Danke, der Hotelmanager half, seine Transportkontakte anzurufen und konnte ein komfortables Fahrzeug 6-seater arrangieren, um uns an die Anshun Eisenbahnstation zu bringen. Das Personal des Hotels sind alle lokale Menschen, so dass sie den Ort und die Menschen gut kennen. Dieses Boutique-Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert. Unsere Familie von fünf bringt uns wunderbare Erinnerungen an unseren Aufenthalt hier. LIFE Hotel ist wirklich einzigartig und schön und befindet sich in einer sehr günstigen Lage. Sie haben sehr gute Kundenservice und sind wirklich hilfreich. Frau, Siao Wong war sehr willkommen, freundlich und hilfreich. Sie hat uns trotz unseres sehr kleinen Mandarin-Sprachens bequem gefühlt. Sie bieten pick-up-Service und zwei Waschmaschinen, um Ihre eigene Waschmaschine zu waschen. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt.
