GGastnutzerUpon arrival, check-in at reception was smooth. We were provided with our room key and directed to our accommodation, which required us to drive to the other side of the estate. However, when we reached the room, the key did not work. We walked back to reception, where we were informed that a network issue had prevented the key from being properly programmed. The receptionist, who was very helpful, offered to accompany us to the room and opened it using a master key. She assured us that a functioning key would be delivered as soon as the network was restored.
Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned. The window sill was sticky with what appeared to be beverage spills, the floor was dirty, the bathroom mats were not fresh, and most concerning, there were rat droppings on the window sill, on the floor behind the curtains, and behind the door. I contacted reception to request housekeeping and asked to speak with a manager, as the condition of the room was unacceptable. A housekeeping staff member arrived, but I requested that cleaning not proceed until the housekeeping manager assessed the situation. The manager quickly confirmed that the room had indeed not been cleaned and that there were clear signs of rodent activity. She apologised sincerely, asked us to wait while the room was cleaned, and said she would escalate the matter to the rooms division. While waiting on the terrace outside, we noticed a mouse in the bushes, which explained the droppings found inside.
After the room was cleaned, the manager returned, apologised again, and informed us that a complimentary bottle of wine had been arranged for us. We told her about the mouse we had seen and expressed that we did not feel comfortable staying in that room. She went back to speak with the rooms division, and we waited in the bar. An hour later, she returned with keys to a new room and directed us there. The replacement room was clean, though the entire experience made for a rocky start to our stay.
The following day, after breakfast, we returned to our room to find that the terrace doors had been removed and two maintenance staff were working. This came as an unexpected surprise, as no one had informed us that repairs would be taking place. We decided to return to the bar to allow the work to be completed. As we were celebrating a birthday that day, the housekeeping manager kindly arranged for our room to be decorated with a birthday message.
From that point onward, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks to the exceptional customer service at the restaurants, bars, and spa. In particular, we would like to recognise Moses, Regal, and Tebogo at Kingsley Restaurant; Sibongile at Granatas; and Mandy at the spa for their outstanding hospitality. They truly made our stay memorable.
Overall, despite the challenges we experienced upon arrival, we had a lovely stay. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making my mother’s birthday special.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stThe breakfast was really good, with a nice variety of options every morning. I also really enjoyed the free shuttle service to Sandton Mall , it was very convenient and made getting around much easier.
The only small downside was the balcony in my room. It was quite small, to the point that I couldn’t even fit a chair there. But overall, I still had a very pleasant experience and would recommend the hotel.

GGastnutzerI recently stayed for a couple of nights, and overall, it was an average experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly, which I appreciated. However, the room itself could have been a bit more updated. While it was clean, the furnishings seemed a little worn, and the bathroom, although functional, had some minor issues like a leaky faucet.
The bed was comfortable enough, but I did find it a bit harder than I prefer. The hotel amenities were standard—there was a gym and a small pool, though I didn't have time to use either. The Wi-Fi worked fine, and I didn't encounter any issues with the air conditioning or heating during my stay.
One thing that stood out was the location. It was pretty convenient for my needs, close to a few restaurants and shops, though not overly special. I was hoping for a bit more from the hotel's restaurant, as the menu was somewhat limited and the food was just okay.
In short, it wasn’t a bad stay, but it didn’t blow me away either. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep without expecting anything extraordinary, this hotel will do the job.

To get to the hotel from the airport, go to the arrival hall, follow the sign to Bus Terminal and walk past the car rental offices to reach the bus terminal. The shuttle to the hotel comes every 15 minutes. My room is clean and quiet. Hot water is quite fast from the hot water tap. WiFi is easily accessible in the room and is stable. The breakfast (6-10am) is excellent with English breakfast items (egg, bacon, sausages, beans, toast), continental breakfast items (cold cuts, cheese, bread), salad, fruits, cereals, yoghurt, juices, etc. Overall I had a pleasant stay.

PPollyBarSchönes kleines Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens. Es gibt Shuttlebusse, die alle 30 Minuten fahren. Das Personal an der Rezeption und das Personal im Allgemeinen ist nett und höflich und versucht, entgegenzukommen und zu helfen. Das Einzige, was man hören konnte, war das Wasser, das laut aus dem Stockwerk darüber durch die Rohre lief, und das war ein wenig irritierend. Ich konnte jedoch gut schlafen und habe diesen kurzen Aufenthalt genossen.

Das Holiday Inn war voll, so dass dies eine enge Alternative war.
Hat es Ausstattung, aber ihre Ausflüge waren in der Küche weit vom Bett? Nicht sehr Geschäftsreisende oder entspannende Reisende freundlich.
Ich buchte ein Köchinchen Studio, das eine Küche hatte, die für Heizungsfutter etc. Dekor ein wenig müde, so konnte es mit etwas Liebe tun. Aber neben einer sehr schmutzigen Flasche auf dem Balkon war es sauber.
Die Lage ist hervorragend für Rosebank Mall, auch wenn Sie Huhn spielen müssen, um die Straße zu überqueren 😆
Der Kundenservice war schwer fehlt. Ich dachte, Radisson Red Personal war langsam, aber zumindest sie waren immer da. Sie können nicht Frontdesk anrufen. Es sind alle QR-Codes und WhatsApp. Late check out wäre die Kosten einer anderen Nacht R1980. Personal hatte eine, ich dunno Einstellung und waren nicht sehr hilfreich. 1 Sicherheitsbeamte und 1 junge Dame in der Lounge sind die einzigen Ausnahmen. Outlets in der Lounge und Büro waren nur lokale und ich musste wirklich fragen, wo ich kaufen können Adapter / Konverter.
Nächstes Mal gehe ich anderswo hin. Sie sind nicht genug für mich konzentriert.

GGastnutzerExcellent séjour au Southern Sun de Rosebank. De la prise en charge à l'accueil, à l'installation dans la chambre tout s'est très bien passé. Du personnel (d'entretien, du bar, du restaurant, de l'accueil et de la sécurité) tous ont exercé avec sourire. La chambre était très bien équipée et propre. Le petit déjeuner copieux et très varié. Le restaurant une excellente table et du très bon vin.Une pensée particulière aux personnels qui nous ouvraient tous les jours le portail à l'arrière de l'hôtel nous facilitant ainsi le départ vers le poumon de Rosebank. La piscine bien que fraîche était toujours la bienvenue en fin de journée. Même si quelques menus travaux étaient en cours dans l'hôtel nous n'avons jamais été incommodés. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr.
Un grand bravo à l'hôtel et à tout son personnel. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr.

NNKAYIt was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating and arranged airport pickup. The breakfast was lovely as well as room service. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Jhb. 💕❤️ The rooms were clean although amenities needed to be requested suxh as robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo etc - not really nice after a long flight. As well as water, so if this could be provided first that would make it even great.
