Had an amazing stay at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu. Everything about this hotel deserves a perfect score. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The location is incredibly convenient — right next to Takamatsu Station, making it super easy to explore the city and nearby attractions like Ritsurin Garden. The service was top-notch from check-in to check-out. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The amenities were impressive as well — comfortable beds, great facilities, and everything you’d expect from a high-quality hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Takamatsu. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

We have stayed in many Daiwa Roynet Hotels in Japan, and we’ve trusted the Daiwa Roynet brand very much. However, the Takamatsu property is the worst we’ve experienced so far, and after this stay we will be more cautious about choosing to stay at Daiwa Roynet in the future. The facilities are very old and urgently need refurbishment. The cleanliness of our room was also quite shocking. There was hair in the bathroom and bathtub, and hair on the pajamas they provided, as shown in the photo. There were stains throughout the room as well. The bedding used is also smaller than the bed as shown in the picture. If you’re planning day trips to the islands, the hotel isn’t very close to the port. There are plenty of shops nearby, though, so the overall location is ok.

Vom Bahnhof sind es 10 bis 15 Minuten zu Fuß, nicht zu nah, aber erschwinglich. Die umliegenden Einkaufsstraßen, der Ritsurin-Park und der Hafen sind in etwa genauso gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Takamatsu ist insgesamt nicht groß. Das Zimmer ist allgemein als gut zu bezeichnen. Es ist neu, hygienisch, trocken und nass getrennt. Das Frühstück ist köstlich. Tagsüber gibt es Kaffee und für den Nachtsnack Ramen. Auch die heiße Quelle im obersten Stockwerk ist gut. Dafür Preis, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist immer noch hoch. Die einzigen Mängel sind, dass das Hotel am Rande einer Hauptstraße und an einer Kreuzung liegt. Morgens und spät in der Nacht sind die Geräusche von Fußgängern, die die Straße überqueren, und Ampeln zu hören. Das kleine Fenster im Zimmer ist kaum schallisoliert. Das ist nicht gut für den Schlaf. Gute Menschen haben einen größeren Einfluss, zweitens riecht es im Zimmer leicht nach Abwassertoiletten. Vielleicht ist meine Nase zu scharf, also habe ich vom Ende des Bettes bis zum Ende des Bettes geschlafen für die nächsten zwei Tage; zum Schluss noch ein ganz kleiner Vorschlag: Nehmen Sie ein Thermalbad. Der Schlafanzug, den ich trug, war sehr abgenutzt und hatte alle möglichen Haken. Ich könnte ein anderes Material verwenden. Ich würde mich nicht trauen, einen Bademantel anzuziehen das 😂

Nice hotel ,friendly staff . But one thing , we are not suppose to wear room slippers to eat breakfast in the morning 😅. Overall was good experience though . Nice breakfast too ! Can try !

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant and comfortable experience. The location is excellent - just a short 5-minute walk to the main shopping area, with plenty of dining options nearby. It made exploring the neighbourhood incredibly convenient. The room itself is small but it was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Despite the compact size, the room was comfortable enough for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of the hotel is the onsen facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor onsens, though they are not large, they create a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. I also had free Japanese noodles and ice creams at night times. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Die Umgebung ist sehr sauber, das Personal spricht gut Englisch, und in der Lobby gibt es viel Platz zum Sitzen und Ausruhen. Nutzen Sie die Toilette vor dem Ein-/Auschecken. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb des Bahnhofs Takamatsu, aber der Bahnhof zum Flughafen ist nur eine Minute Fußweg entfernt. Es gibt bis zu 50 Betten in einem Raum, der von vielen Gästen belegt ist. Die Toiletten und Duschen verfügen über fünf Kabinen, sodass man nicht warten muss. Allerdings ist es ohne Klimaanlage extrem heiß, sodass das Händewaschen sehr heiß ist, obwohl auch das Wasser heiß ist. Nach zwei Tagen war das Frühstück recht reichhaltig, etwa ein Viertel der Speisen wird jedoch ausgetauscht. Wenn Sie in einem Bett übernachten, bringen Sie bitte Ihre eigenen Zahnbürsten und Kämme mit. Weil zu viele Leute in einem Raum sind, sind die meisten eigentlich sehr ruhig, aber man erlebt unweigerlich auch mal so etwas wie ständiges Aufwachen: mehrere Leute spät nachts, bei ausgeschaltetem Licht, die sich immer noch unterhalten, Schnarchen, bis man das Trommelfell vibrieren spürt, unaufhörliches Husten, bei dem man schon an Tuberkulose denkt, und dann stellt man den Wecker, damit die Person endlich weggeht… Ich rate Ihnen, sich wie ein Schwein auszuruhen, bevor Sie in diesem Bett schlafen, ansonsten suchen Sie sich lieber ein eigenes Zimmer.

Das Hotel ist gut, das Zimmer ist gut, hat historische Werte, das Gehäuse ist sehr sauber, der Rezeptor-Dienst ist sehr gut, obwohl das Hotel Treppen hat, aber die beiden Diener haben sehr viel getan, um uns zu helfen, die Reise ins Zimmer zu ziehen, vielen Dank! Aber dieses Hotel hat keine offizielle Check-in-Box, so dass wir auch in der Nähe die Marke beachten müssen, um die Anweisungen zu sehen, welchen Laden zu bedienen ist. Das Letzte, was wir nicht akzeptieren können, ist, dass wir beim Buchen dieses Hotels die Unterkunftskosten erhalten haben, die Zahlung wieder formell an Ort und Tag zu warten 3-35 und die ursprüngliche Straße wieder zurück zu arrangieren. Ich habe einen Monat gewartet, noch keine Rückzahlung. Nach dem trip.com Kundenservice habe ich gesagt, dass die Rückzahlung nicht zurückgezahlt wurde, weil es keine Einzahlungen im Hotel gab, also habe ich nur warten müssen. Das macht mich sehr unverständlich, also bin ich weniger als ...

Overall, the hotel is clean, but the room does not have a USB charging port and aircon is centralised and cannot be adjusted from warmer to cooler. I appreciate Trip.com's good customer service because although my package included lounge access, the hotel initially said it wasn't included. Trip.com proactively reached out to apologize for the misunderstanding.
