Das Foss Hotel Reykjavik ist ein toller Ort, bequem gelegen neben Bushaltestelle 12 wo alle Touristen aufnehmen und abstürzen sowie Fly Bus tdrop und abholen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und sicher. Ich habe eine fantastische Erfahrung mit dem Personal im Vorder- und Hauspflege. Ich war ein einzelner Reisende und fragte nach Anleitung zum Vorder- und Vorder-Desk an einigen Orten, die ich in und in der Nähe von Reykjavik gehen wollte. Tge Front Desk Mitarbeiter, er gab mir Vorschläge und half mir das Show-Ticket buchen. Er gab mir klare Anweisungen und sah meinen verlorenen Blick , sogar die Hotel-Telefonnummern, um ihn zu rufen, wenn ich in Schwierigkeiten laufen. Aber dank seiner klaren Führung konnte ich gut navigieren und hatte einen tollen Tag. Dieses Hotel ist etwa 15 bis 20mrs vom Stadtzentrum zu Fuß. Einen Tag vergaß ich meine Goldkette im Zimmer. Aber die Hauspflegepersonen während der Reinigung haben nicht einmal irgendwelche wertvollen Sachen berührt, die ich hinterließ. Es ist wirklich ein sehr zuverlässiges und sicheres Hotel. Sie haben ein Restaurant, das leckere Lebensmittel serviert. Ich esse ihre Fische und Chips und Hühnersalat. Beide waren großartig. Das Frühstück hat eine gute Verbreitung. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Der beste Teil ist immer noch der hervorragende Service vom Personal. Meine Reise wurde neu bucht und ich hatte mehrfache Korrespondenz mit dem Personal und sie waren immer schnell und beruhigend. Der einzige Nebenteil des gesamten Aufenthalts war mein Zimmer. Ich hatte ein Eckeszimmer mit einem gebratenen Eckesform, was bedeutete, dass ein Dreieck aus einem Rechteck abgeschnitten wurde. Obwohl schön geformt, fühlte ich mich klaustrophobisch, da die Zimmergröße viel kleiner war. Das Zimmer ist nicht ideal, vor allem wenn nicht allein.

Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt an der Bushaltestelle 13, was sie ideal für Tages- und Mehrtagesausflüge macht; das Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich, mit einem Fitnessraum sowie Innen- und Außen-Thermalbädern zur Entspannung; das Frühstück ist ordentlich; gegenüber befindet sich ein authentisches isländisches Restaurant (siehe Bild).

Das Hotel bietet ein abwechslungsreiches Frühstück und der Service an der Rezeption ist ebenfalls sehr gut, aber die Zimmerausstattung ist alt, insbesondere das Waschbecken ist sehr klein und die Duscharmatur ist sehr klein und alt.

We started our travel to Iceland by driving around Iceland in a campervan, so we were hoping for a relaxing hotel stay in Reykjavik at the end of the trip when we pre-booked. We were not disappointed by the Eyja Guldsmeden. The location was only a few blocks away from downtown where there were tons of shopping and dining options, and the hotel itself was beautiful. In the lobby, we grabbed (included) coffee in the mornings and a reasonably-priced drink for happy hour. The service at the front desk was friendly and cordial. The room itself had a nice view of the mountains and was warm and cozy. It was a great stay and we would definitely go back to this hotel again if we are ever back in Iceland! Our only difficulty, understanding this is mostly outside of the hotel's control, is that some of the sidewalks on the walk to downtown were extremely icy and slippery after a day or so of wintry mix that froze over. We had to be extremely careful making our way down to Laugavegur, which had much safer sidewalks. There were even a few buses and cars that couldn't make their way up or down the icy, hilly streets and had to work their way around. So if you are going in the Winter, be cautious and walk slowly!

Right next the airport and the drop off locations for car rental - literally a 5 minute walk. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. We were taking an early flight so booked this hotel for the convenience. Breakfast is available from 4am for those taking early flights.

Zunächst einmal ist die Lage erstklassig. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der Stadt. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es viele Essensstraßen und Einkaufsstraßen. Zur Kirche und zur Rainbow Street sind es nur fünf bis acht Minuten. Auch zum Einkaufen ist es sehr praktisch, da die Bushaltestelle Nr. 1 ist. Natürlich sind die Zimmer nicht mit manchen Hoteleinrichtungen in Hongkong und auf dem Festland zu vergleichen, aber sie haben einfache Betten und sind komfortabel, aber die Badezimmereinrichtungen sind relativ alt und die Möbel relativ einfach. Was die Hygiene angeht, setzen sie sich auch für Umweltschutz ein, daher ist die Reinigung durchschnittlich. Es war Heiligabend, als ich eincheckte. Ich traf den Schalterspezialisten und er war nicht sehr positiv, also habe ich sie später nicht um etwas gebeten!

I loved this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! One of the outstanding features is that they give you a cell phone to use during your stay. The phone already has helpful apps installed for taxis, restaurants, etc. We are from the US so did not have international cell service so having this phone with us was helpful, especially for using maps. Reykjavik is a walkable city, and the hotel is located on the most popular street, so it has easy access to everything. The staff was very helpful and there is also a bar/restaurant onsite with amazing cocktails. There is an included breakfast buffet which featured hot and cold items. We had a room on the 4th floor that included access to large patio. We loved this feature as we could wake up and go outside to check the weather and enjoy the views of the mountains and water in the distance. The hotel was also extremely clean. Another nice touch was that they knew we were celebrating our wedding anniversary so when we entered our room, we found a bottle of wine, chocolate and romantic decorations!

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The dishwasher made it easy to cook our own meals, which was a big plus given the high cost of dining out. The underfloor heating kept everything cozy, including the bathroom. The blackout curtains were excellent, and the location was ideal for a walk around town. We would happily stay again

Die Lage ist fantastisch, mitten im Stadtzentrum und nur 3-5 Gehminuten von der Bushaltestelle 6 entfernt, dem Treffpunkt für verschiedene Reisegruppen. Das Apartment hat die perfekte Größe, ist sehr modern eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet mit Töpfen, Pfannen und den wichtigsten Gewürzen. Es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine und einen Geschirrspüler – unglaublich praktisch und ideal für Familien. Ich werde bei meinem nächsten Islandbesuch definitiv wieder Center Hotels wählen. Der Check-in erfolgt im Hotel gegenüber. Das Apartment ist mit einem Zahlenschloss gesichert, und es gibt alle Zimmerkategorien – komfortabel und sicher!

The location is excellent, within walking distance to the city's popular attractions, restaurants, cafes, etc. The room is relatively small, but comfortable. The bathroom is relatively small, especially the wash basin. The so-called buffet breakfast is not bad, but there is not much choice of food. The hotel service and staff are very friendly and helpful.
