I had a fantastic stay at Hostel Casa Colón — it exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is incredibly convenient, especially if you’re heading to or from the airport or bus terminals. The staff were welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips. My room was clean, secure, and surprisingly quiet despite being in the city. The common areas are stylish and spacious, with a cozy on-site restaurant that serves excellent breakfast and coffee. It truly felt more like a boutique guesthouse than a typical hostel. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for comfort and value in San José.

GGastnutzerBook only one night needed to be closed to the airport prior to leaving Costa Rica. I arrived too early to check in so I left my backpack in the storage and went sightseeing. Rooms were cleaned however my issues was with the cleanliness of the bathrooms I wish they were cleaner . Shower’s didn’t have any hooks or shelves and I didn’t have anywhere to but my stuff other then the floor. I found a very cockroach in the shower which was also gross. Bathrooms could definitely be cleaner and furniture could be less broken done. Definitely more on the budget friendly side.

GGastnutzerDie Miniterrasse war unglaublich! Der Blick auf den Innenhof ist schön, das Zimmer ist gut belüftet und sehr komfortabel. Nur 30 Sekunden zu Fuß entfernt gab es einen Mini-Supermarkt, in dem man hochwertige Fertiggerichte und Backwaren kaufen konnte. Die Gegend war sicher und ruhig und insgesamt war es großartig. Auch die Reinigung erfolgt ordentlich und sauber. Ich entschuldige mich für die Unannehmlichkeiten, die Ihnen beim Ein- und Auschecken entstanden sind, aber wir haben Ihre großzügige Reaktion sehr geschätzt. Ich würde es gerne wieder verwenden.

GGastnutzerNice hotel in San-Jose. Old colonial style house very well decorated. Close to city center (in 10-15mins). Next door to the hotel is very good restaurant Pataconeria. Breakfast in the patio starting at 6:30, there is a choose of dishes.
Close to the hotel is railway which wake you up early :)

GGastnutzerSuperb hostal with great facilities, an excellent host (Dylan) and lots of small extras that make all the difference. Tea coffee biscuits and fruit provided gratis. Was able to stay in the room.2 extra hours to assist me in getting to the airport for my flight. Outstanding

JJeffereyEin Hotel über zwei Restaurants ein Block von den Hauptstraßen entfernt. Es gab einige kleine Kritter, aber sonst gut für Geld bang. Es gab einen Deckenfans mit 3 Einstellungen. Mein Toilettensitz hatte jedoch nicht die Decke.
