Location & Ambience:
Situated just off Alderley Edge’s bustling high street, the hotel is perfectly positioned for guests to explore the village’s trendy boutiques, restaurants, and bars. The nearby sandstone ridge, known as “The Edge,” offers scenic woodland walks and panoramic views, adding to the area’s allure. 
Accommodation:
Guests have praised the hotel for its cleanliness and comfort. Rooms are well-appointed, featuring modern furnishings and amenities such as Temple Spa toiletries, free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee facilities. While some guests have noted that certain rooms can be on the smaller side, the overall comfort and ambiance receive high marks.  
Dining Experience:
The hotel’s restaurant, set within a rebuilt conservatory, offers a bright and airy dining space. GGastnutzerLovely hotel with nice big clean rooms. A few issues though - you really need a car to get here as it's a bit far out from the city centre. In my room there was a room service menu and a number to dial for room service, but no phone. The food and drink was ok. During my stay there was only 1 person on the bar and service was a little slow. I ordered a soft drink and it was a bit flat, definitely not worth the £4 they charged for it. Because of staff shortages the dining room was filled with tables that needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was also a bit of a disaster. They charge £15 for it but definitely not worth it. There's a self serve hot buffet which was fine, nothing exceptional. There was no coffee available, just tea bags and hot water. Also there were no plates available at the continental station - really missing attention to detail when there were quite a few staff members present.

As a solo traveler with my beloved sausage dog, Stanley, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa for one night. Here’s my experience:
**Location:**
The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent. Nestled in beautiful grounds, it provides a serene backdrop for relaxation and exploration. The picturesque setting truly enhances the overall experience.
**Arrival and Service:**
Unfortunately, my arrival experience was somewhat disappointing. The service upon check-in felt slow and not particularly welcoming. There was no offer of assistance with my luggage or guidance on where I could take Stanley, which left me feeling a bit lost. I expected a more hospitable reception, especially given the hotel’s reputation.
**Room Quality:**
On a positive note, the room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a lovely spacious bathroom that included a plush robe and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and soap. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay.
**Room Service:**
One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay.
**Dining:**
The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day.
**Overall Impression:**
While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel ist in Chester und hat sich in der Nähe des Hotels in Chester gebucht. Das Restaurant hat nicht gegessen, aber 2 Bar-Mahlzeiten bestellt, die mit einer ausgezeichneten Auswahl reichhaltig und lecker waren. Zimmerservice war auch ausgezeichnet, da wir Getränke im Zimmer bestellten und auch Sandwiches und Suppe. Das Frühstück war auch ausgezeichnet. Alle Mitarbeiter, mit denen ich gesprochen habe, waren höflich und freundlich und nichts war zu viel Problem. Ich werde sicherlich dieses Hotel nochmal für meinen nächsten Besuch in Chester buchen.

GGastnutzerDas ist das zweite Mal, dass wir in diesem Hotel verblieben haben, und unsere Wahl war hauptsächlich auf seine bequeme Lage und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Es ist sehr nahe am Flughafen und sehr ruhig am Abend, umgeben von Farmen und Grasland.
Wir lieben das Frühstück, weil es kein typisches Buffet ist. Stattdessen können Sie aus einem Menü mit einer großen Auswahl an Optionen, die alle wunderbar schmecken. Die Dekoration des Restaurants ist auch wunderschön, und Sie werden mehr als zufrieden mit den Portionen sein. Das Restaurantpersonal ist passioniert, freundlich und hilfreich.
Ein Punkt ist, dass die Rezeption oft umgeben ist, was nur eine Beobachtung und weder positiv noch negativ ist. Die Rezeptionisten tun immer ihr Bestes und sind sehr nett und professionell. Allerdings ist das Zimmerdesign ein wenig veraltet.

GGuest UserDas Hotel Oddfellows war einfach, aber es hätte zuvor die genaue Adresse der Wohnung geholfen, so dass wir einfacher parkieren konnten. Es gibt einen Parkplatz im Apartment, aber es ist ein enger Eingang!
Apartment 5 war oben und sehr geräumig. Die Lounge/Küche/Dinner war gut eingerichtet und der Tee und der Kaffee verfügbar war sehr willkommen. Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer waren groß, komfortabel und sauber (aber mit wenigen Hügeln für Handtücher oder Coats konnten). Es gibt sogar ein Waschraum. Decof ist wunderschön und die Lage ist großartig - nur von den Hauptstraßen. Fabelhafter Ort zum Aufenthalt.

GGastnutzerErstmals mit einem Übernachtungsurlaub nach Chester. Der erste Eindruck von Hotel einschließlich Lage war ausgezeichnet und ich habe nur einen negativ von unserem Aufenthalt, der bei Abreise an die Rezeption gemeldet wurde. Das Hotel hat ein großes Problem mit Schlafzimmertüren, die schlafend geschlossen sind, jedes Mal, wenn jemand eintritt oder verlässt ein Zimmer, weil sie keine Dämpfer haben, die unsere Nacht und Nacht in unserem Zimmer vernichtet. Das Hotel ist mit einem guten Pool und einem Restaurant ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück kann nur als superb bezeichnet werden, mit unserem Enkel, der es gründlich genießt. Die Lage einschließlich des Parkplatzes war ideal für einen Spaziergang um das Chester City Centre mit einem 100 yd-Wandern bis zu den Hauptstraßen und den Ebenen.
Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel für einen Stadtbrech empfehlen und würde leicht für 5 Sterne qualifiziert, wenn sie etwas Dämpfungsgerät / Schließvorgang auf die Schlafzimmertüren setzen könnten.

SSharon PatriciaWe had a lovely time it was one of our celebration for our 50th wedding anniversary and the staff were great. I had knee surgery 12 weeks ago. They made sure we had a downstairs room and even found another chair to go in our room as I needed one with arms on to get up.
We had dinner at the restaurant Friday evening and the food and service was quick and excellent.
