The service was outstanding and the location ideal if you are biking.    The hotel also has a room where you can store your bikes.  The room was very clean and the staff very helpful.  

Die Personal sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Der ganze Prozess zum Ein und aus checken war einwandfrei und unkompliziert. Die Lage ist top! Auto sowie Fahrrad Vermietung ist einfach nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Man hat alles was man braucht. Die Küche ist gut und bis auf 23 Uhr verfügbar und auch fürs Essen im Zimmer. Ich bin das erste Mal in Vancouver, dieses Hotel ist nur zu empfehlen.

Firs of all, the receptionist was very friendly and had a big smile on her face during both check-in and check-out (it was the same lady), warm and nice lobby. Second, the room was smaller than I expected, smaller than what the website showed but it was clean. Third, when I arrived it was almost impossible to find a parking spot (see pic 4) because there were several hotels in the same area. I had to wait in my car for about 20 minutes until someone finally left so I could park and check in. Fourth, hotel parking is quite expensive $34 per night for self-parking and $39 for valet. The underground parking lot is right next to the garbage room (see pic 5) which was disgusting and horrible. I also saw two guys working in the parking area and they seemed really unfriendly. If they ever film another Conjuring series this could be a perfect location. To be fair, I did notice that several other 4 star hotels in Whistler have similar parking conditions: dark, old and dirty. Fifth, it was a bit cold at night and I tried to adjust the room temperature but it didn’t work. I mentioned this to the lady when I checked out. If you asked me if I would stay there again, probably NOT. The price is okay for the room and the location is very convenient there’s an Old Spaghetti Factory inside the hotel and several bars, restaurants and shops are just 5–10 minutes away on foot.

Ich war sehr froh, dass es eine direkte Verbindung vom Flughafen zum Zug gab, der mich bis zur Hotellobby brachte. Ich musste nicht weit laufen. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und es gab ein Restaurant in der Nähe des Hotels. Ich werde definitiv wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.

My husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs. The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting. For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

Black Rock Oceanfront is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Canada, It is upscale and luxurious. It is located within walking distance of the Trans Pacific hiking trail and the Lighthouse. It has a heated outdoor pool.and a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as a fitness room. There are two oceanfront restaurants. They offer the same menu. One is more formal while the other has a casual bar-like feel. The food is very good although pricey, like most places in Ucluelet and Tofino. Our room at the lodge was large. It had a spectacular view of Big Beach and the ocean from the balcony, which was large enough for more than 2 people to sit at. However, you could see and hear your neighbours enjoying their balconies too. There was a large, ultra-modern bathroom with a separate rainfall shower. There was also a 2-person bathtub located next to a covered glass window. If you uncover that window during daylight, you could see the ocean across the room and balcony. I prefer Ucluelet because it's quieter than Tofino, and would definitely stay at Black Rock Oceanfront again in a heartbeat.

Vorteile: Die Bettwäsche war sehr bequem und die Decke hatte genau die richtige Dicke. Die Mikrowelle im Zimmer war praktisch und der kleine Kühlschrank wurde täglich mit 2-3 Flaschen Mineralwasser aufgefüllt. Als wir am Vormittag etwas später ins Hotel zurückkamen, wurde unserer Bitte nach einem späteren Check-out ohne Zögern entsprochen. Nachteile: Das zugewiesene Zimmer war sehr laut, die Fenster waren schlecht schallisoliert. Von unten drang Autohupen, Alarme, vorbeifahrende Krankenwagen und Polizeiautos sowie alle möglichen anderen Geräusche herein. Zudem löste der Rauchmelder im Zimmer mitten in der Nacht grundlos aus. Die Toilette im Badezimmer war an den Ecken nicht sauber geputzt, es gab Urinflecken.

Wir sind Familie von 4 in Deluxe King Suite mit Hafenansicht, sehr glücklich mit der Lage des Hotels. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, und sie haben Nespresso Kaffeemaschine und elektrische Kettle, aber sie bieten keine Platten und Lippen. Wir haben Frühstücksbäume gemacht und wir brauchten Lippen für Joghurt und Fruchtplatten. Es gibt Kirschenblumen Bäume und farbige Stühle und viele Vögel fliegen gerade neben unserem Hotel und wir konnten diese schönen Aussichten aus unserem Zimmer sehen. Die Parkplätze sind auch geräumig und haben einfachen Zugang zur Lobby. Beim Einchecken sagte der Rezeptionpersonal, dass unsere Buchung nur für 2 Erwachsene war und er uns für 2 zusätzliche Kinder kosten wollte, aber ich zeigte ihm, dass meine Buchung für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder ist. Er hat uns endlich nicht mehr belastet, aber sie haben das Sofabett für unsere Kinder nicht aufgestellt. Und wie andere sagten, das Sofabett ist nicht komfortabel und zu weich. Wir blieben mit anderen Freunden (Familie von 3) und sie gaben uns Zimmer im gleichen Stock, und wir hängen jeden Tag in unserem Zimmer, besonders wenn es am zweiten Tag ganz regnete.

Dies war eine nachtmerzliche Reise, 1. Ich hatte um ein Zimmer auf der höchsten Etage gebeten, mit Blick auf den Hafen, ich bin ein Fotograf und machte die Reise nach Victoria, um einige tolle Fotos des Innenhafens zu bekommen. Ich habe ein Zimmer im zehnten Stock mit Blick auf die Parkplätze und die Seitenstraße. Die Fenster waren so schmutzig, es war schwer zu sehen, in meinen Augen wurde ich abgerissen, ich werde nicht in irgendeinem Merriott Hotel bleiben, zum Zeitpunkt meiner Buchung es sagte, sie hatten ein Buffet Frühstück und als ich ankam, sagten sie mir, es gibt kein Buffet Frühstück. Nur ein Restaurant auf der Website, Parkplatz wurde gesagt, ist kostenlos Autoparkplatz. Ich wurde gezahlt $29.40 / Nacht, um meinen Truck selbst zu parken.
