GGastnutzerDie Personal sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Der ganze Prozess zum Ein und aus checken war einwandfrei und unkompliziert. Die Lage ist top! Auto sowie Fahrrad Vermietung ist einfach nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Man hat alles was man braucht. Die Küche ist gut und bis auf 23 Uhr verfügbar und auch fürs Essen im Zimmer. Ich bin das erste Mal in Vancouver, dieses Hotel ist nur zu empfehlen.

MMikki LizFirs of all, the receptionist was very friendly and had a big smile on her face during both check-in and check-out (it was the same lady), warm and nice lobby.
Second, the room was smaller than I expected, smaller than what the website showed but it was clean.
Third, when I arrived it was almost impossible to find a parking spot (see pic 4) because there were several hotels in the same area. I had to wait in my car for about 20 minutes until someone finally left so I could park and check in.
Fourth, hotel parking is quite expensive $34 per night for self-parking and $39 for valet. The underground parking lot is right next to the garbage room (see pic 5) which was disgusting and horrible. I also saw two guys working in the parking area and they seemed really unfriendly. If they ever film another Conjuring series this could be a perfect location.
To be fair, I did notice that several other 4 star hotels in Whistler have similar parking conditions: dark, old and dirty.
Fifth, it was a bit cold at night and I tried to adjust the room temperature but it didn’t work. I mentioned this to the lady when I checked out.
If you asked me if I would stay there again, probably NOT. The price is okay for the room and the location is very convenient there’s an Old Spaghetti Factory inside the hotel and several bars, restaurants and shops are just 5–10 minutes away on foot.

MMEI LING WONGDie Lage ist direkt neben der Skytrain-Station. Das Zimmer mit Wohnbereich war sehr schön, aber es war überall sehr staubig. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr begrenzt. Die Rolltreppe von der Skytrain-Station zum Hotel war außer Betrieb. Wir mussten unser Gepäck die Treppe hochtragen. Das Hotel wirkt veraltet und schlecht gepflegt. Der Pool war schön. Auch der Sonnenuntergang war schön.

GGastnutzerMy husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs.
The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting.
For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

GGastnutzerBlack Rock Oceanfront is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Canada, It is upscale and luxurious. It is located within walking distance of the Trans Pacific hiking trail and the Lighthouse.
It has a heated outdoor pool.and a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as a fitness room. There are two oceanfront restaurants. They offer the same menu. One is more formal while the other has a casual bar-like feel. The food is very good although pricey, like most places in Ucluelet and Tofino.
Our room at the lodge was large. It had a spectacular view of Big Beach and the ocean from the balcony, which was large enough for more than 2 people to sit at. However, you could see and hear your neighbours enjoying their balconies too. There was a large, ultra-modern bathroom with a separate rainfall shower. There was also a 2-person bathtub located next to a covered glass window. If you uncover that window during daylight, you could see the ocean across the room and balcony.
I prefer Ucluelet because it's quieter than Tofino, and would definitely stay at Black Rock Oceanfront again in a heartbeat.

GGastnutzerHotel in Flughafennähe. Der Preis ist wirklich günstig, aber der Service ist quasi nicht existent. Das Hotel bietet auch keine Einwegpantoffeln, Zahnpasta oder Zahnbürsten an. Die kostenlose Kaffeemaschine und die Teetassen waren staubig, und die Kissen waren schmutzig. Das größte Problem war jedoch die extrem schlechte Schalldämmung. Man hörte die Flugzeuge beim Starten und Landen im Zimmer ganz klar. Die Vorteile sind die Nähe zum Flughafen, der bequeme Shuttle-Service und der günstige Preis. Für einen Zwischenstopp kann man es in Kauf nehmen, aber für einen Aufenthalt von zwei oder drei Tagen würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

GGastnutzer1. Mir hat dieses Hotel im Herzen von Vancouver sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist super: Es liegt in der Nähe der Dampfuhr und des Strandes, und auch die Bushaltestelle Skyline ist gleich um die Ecke – ein echter Pluspunkt.
2. Das Hotel selbst ist einzigartig, mit seiner exquisiten und kunstvollen Architektur. Die Zimmer sind elegant in sanften, aber modernen Farben eingerichtet, und einige bieten direkten Meerblick.
3. Das Beste war die chinesischsprachige Rezeptionistin. Ich habe mich sofort willkommen und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Obwohl es in Vancouver eine große chinesische Bevölkerung gibt, ist die Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit der Landsleute nicht immer selbstverständlich. Ich kenne ihren Namen leider nicht, aber dank ihrer Empfehlung konnten wir Whistler Mountain besuchen, was unsere Reise unvergesslich gemacht hat.

Even when we checked out, we were allowed to keep our car in the lot until 4pm (but confirm with the front desk just incase).
