This is by far the best hostel I stayed at, in spite of the number of occupants. I was lucky to have very quiet boys in the room. There’s only one bathroom, connected to the room, but it worked. The hostel is new, modern and spotless. The owner is very friendly. The hostel is also 5 minutes walk from the beach. It was perfect. It’s a long walk to Albufeira from the city buses, and not very clear where the FlixBus stops. I wouldn’t recommend walking from the train station, which took me 4 hours. There’s a local bus, don’t scrimp = TAKE IT. Or take an Uber, or Bolt. Or ask the taxi what he wants to charge from the bus stop at the train station ! The RedeExpress is where the bus station is (but not for the FlixBus). In summary, you can go to Albufeira by FlixBus, but it’s difficult to know where FlixBus leaves Albufeira from. That all said, Albufeira is very difficult in high season, TOO CROWDED, but the Portuguese are tolerant and very patient because they know that tourism is lucrative and has raised the whole country out of poverty. Residents enjoy cheap and / or free public transport on local buses (cheap monthly passes). Residents are respectful and kind. You can practice your Portuguese with them for a laugh, but they all speak English to varying degrees. Here you can meet real residents. On the beach, not necessarily in the pubs. I loved it here. Don’t miss it.

Tolle Lage. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Busbahnhof, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hafenstreifen. Das Zimmer war makellos, ebenso die Toiletten und Duschen. Es gab ein Schließfach und einen Schlüssel, falls nötig. Obwohl ich die Küche nie benutzt habe, war sie sauber und sah gut ausgestattet aus. Die Sonnenterrasse ist fantastisch, sie fängt den ganzen Tag die Sonne ein. Viele Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Restaurants in der Straße. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Great location! Cozy «family» dinners for cheap every night at Hostellicious with delicious homemade dishes, wine, sangria at the family barbecue at Casa D’Alagoa (see pictures) Everybody was very respectful in my 6 person female only room, and quiet at night. Made friends with many of them every day during my stay!  Lots of places to hang with people both inside and on the patio, beautiful interior  Lots of activities with great prices just for people staying at the hostel, like boat tours, hiking, bike rentals, pub crawls every night with hostellicious Bring a padlock with a thick neck, a thinwire padlock doesn’t work for keeping your drawer locked.  Sun umbrellas can be rented for like €3!! Took it to the praia de Faro. Just a ten min walk to the port from the hostel, €4 with the ferry, amazing long strip of beaches  Faro has my ♡

La struttura è datata e necessita di una ristrutturazione, soprattutto le camere e la piscina. In camera non c'è il phon, ma è possibile chiederlo alla reception. Le camere vanno rinnovate, sono veramente spoglie, basterebbe un po' di colore alle pareti e mettere qualche quadro colorato. Runner e cuscini in velluto sono ormai superati e inutili, finiti immediatamente dentro l armadio. In bagno, la carta igienica è talmente soffice, che si sgretola in mano, soprattutto quando in bagno si crea vapore quando si apre l acqua calda. Ci sono 2 terrazze solarium, dove ci sono solo dei lettini. Le terrazze mi hanno dato l impressione di essere abbandonate, se ci fossero degli ombrelloni e dei tavolini e qualcuno venisse ogni tanto a portare dei teli e a chiedere se si ha bisogno di qualcosa, sarebbe sicuramente una cosa diversa. Anche in piscina mancano gli ombrelloni. Inoltre, noi avevamo la camera sullo stesso piano della piscina, purtroppo dovevamo tenere sempre la tenda chiusa, altrimenti gli altri ospiti potevano guardarci dentro la camera, ed era necessario accendere la luce anche in pieno giorno, altrimenti non si vedeva nulla. Suggerisco di mettere, oltre alla tenda oscurante, anche una tendina leggera, che blocchi gli sguardi indiscreti ma faccia passare la luce. Sarebbe il caso anche di ristrutturare camere, bagno e corridoi. È un peccato, perché la zona della reception, con le pareti verde chiaro e il divanetto tondo è molto carina. La zona colazione è ok, ma purtroppo non c è varietà. Oltre al prosciutto cotto, si potrebbero usare, a rotazione, magari, anche altri salumi. Inserire anche uova sode o all'occhio, latte e yogurt senza lattosio, qualche formaggio, cambiate gusti delle marmellate, mettere cioccolata spalmabile, waffles al posto dei pancake, ecc... C è un bar, ma non viene utilizzato da nessuno, peccato. Il personale è sempre stato estremamente gentile e disponibile. Ricordo il sorriso di Carolina che ci ha fatto il check in e con una mappa alla mano ci ha spiegato tutto, un collega uomo, anche lui molto sorridente, che in serata mi ha gentilmente fornito il phon, e la signora con il quale abbiamo fatto il check out. Anche le signore della colazioni molto disponibili, e una volta ci hanno fatto entrare anche se siamo arrivati tardi. Do comunque un voto alto, per non penalizzare nessuno, ma fiduciosa che il feedback serva a migliorare.

Von den Zuschlägen: Die Wohnungen sind klein, aber ziemlich komfortabel. Das Haupt + für mich ist, eine Waschmaschine, die auch Kleidung gut trocknet. Lage ist gut, es gibt alle Gerichte und alles, was für Kochen, Kekse, Taschen, Tuggen, Vent Minderheiten: ”Um die Schlüssel zu bekommen, die Sie zu einer anderen Adresse gehen müssen und es wird nicht erwähnt! Ich habe etwa eine Stunde versucht, sie zu rufen, um herauszufinden, wo ihr Büro ist, es ist schrecklich! Obwohl die Jungs im Büro sehr nett sind, diese separate Suche zu rufen/zu beenden! - es riecht so viel Feuchtigkeit und schwarze Moll, für mehr als 2 Nächte ich würde nicht nur wegen Gesundheitsgefahren bleiben ”Das ist der erste Stock, und die Fenster sind ohne Griffe! Wenn du also nicht mehr schwarz Möbel atmen kannst und das Fenster öffnen willst, dann ergibt sich, dass jeder Passant in das Fenster für dich klettern kann!

Our room is just right next to road, noisy and smoky. But the receptionist is a nice lady, no place to hang laundry is very inconvenient too. As a hostel, it should have this basic facilities. Thought there is jagguzi and steam bath, no one is interested in them. Cooking facility is OK, stove and pots is available. Shower room not good as it is mix gender and too few toilet to use. Will stay somewhere else. The boss Tommy is speaking good English and warm personally. Plus point but very rare in the hostel.

Puntos negativos: Las camas no eran muy cómodas para dos personas ya que no están bien unidas. Las duchas también son mejorables, tienes que ir pulsando el botón cada tres segundos para que eche agua y no tiene manguera, así que el chorro es fijo. La habitación ponía que tiene vista a un patio, pero realmente lo que da es a una zona común desde donde pueden verte cualquier persona que pase por al lado. Check In bastante tarde. La insonorización también podría ser mejor. Lo positivo: Amabilidad en recepción Desayuno incluido Ubicación bastante buena, solo un poco complicado a veces para aparcar pero tienen opción de plaza de garaje Préstamo de sombrillas y zonas comunes

Staff war außergewöhnlich. Die Unterkunft und die voll ausgestattete Küche ist hervorragend.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Straße mit schnellem und einfachem Zugang zum Yachthafen und den Stränden. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants. Wenn Sie mit dem Auto anreisen, erreichen Sie einen überdachten Parkplatz in wenigen Gehminuten. Im Parkhaus können Sie mit Visa-Debitkarten bezahlen. Ich glaube, Visa- und Mastercard-Kreditkarten werden ebenfalls akzeptiert. Insgesamt war ich sehr zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt.
