In den Bergen Selber fahren ist bequemer! Niemand, sehr ruhig. Es liegt etwa eine halbe Autostunde vom Santa Elderly Village entfernt. Fahrt in den Wald beim Hotel. In der Einsamkeit liegt eine gewisse Schönheit! ! Es ist auch mysteriös … Auch Rehe gibt es im Hotel! Schade, dass ich dieses Mal kein Polarlicht gesehen habe.

Wilderness Hotel Juutua is a charming and peaceful hotel located just outside the town center of Inari, right next to Lake Inari. The lakeside location is truly beautiful, offering stunning natural views and a calm atmosphere that feels very special, especially in winter. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, with warm smiles that make guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. The room is warm and comfortable, which is important in the cold Lapland climate. However, the room feels quite small for two people, especially when traveling with luggage. Moving around and storing suitcases can be a bit inconvenient. Bathroom amenities are mostly sufficient, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be expected at this level of hotel. Other amenities are well prepared. Breakfast quality is good, but unfortunately we could not fully enjoy it because it closes too early at 10:00 AM, which may not be ideal for guests who prefer a relaxed morning or late start. Overall, Wilderness Hotel Juutua offers a beautiful lakeside setting, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere. Despite some minor drawbacks such as room size and limited bathroom amenities, it is still a very pleasant stay and a great choice for travelers looking to experience the natural beauty of Inari.

This was a great location slightly out of the city to catch the Northern Lights without going on a tour (we saw it two nights out of two)! The glass cabins were well kept and clean, we were two adults and two teens and there was enough space for everyone. Note that this resort serves only five cabins and no one else, so the exclusivity is unsurpassed! It is also beside a frozen lake and you can walk to the middle to catch the auroras. A lot of nature activities to occupy the family in the daytime. Some recommendations would be the sauna+frozen lake dip, ice fishing and hiking to the rock church. The founder of the resort, Theo, is ultra friendly and nice and all the staff there (shoutout to Millie and Guillaume!) really go above and beyond to help make our stay there so memorable. All the photos uploaded I took with just my iphone16. All in I was extremely happy we chose this place for the Rovaniemi leg of our trip.

Eine Uber-Fahrt vom Bahnhof zum Hotel kostet ca. 18 € und dauert etwa 10 Minuten. Eine Uber-Fahrt vom Hotel zum Weihnachtsmann-Dorf kostet 20 € und dauert etwa 15 Minuten. Eine Uber-Fahrt vom Hotel zum Flughafen Rovaniemi kostet ebenfalls 20 € und dauert etwa 13 Minuten. Obwohl es sich um eine Jugendherberge handelt, habe ich ein Zimmer mit WC gebucht. Das Zimmer bietet Platz für zwei Koffer bis zu einer Länge von 76 cm (30 Zoll). Nicht vorhanden: Zahnbürste, Zahnpasta, Shampoo, Spülung und Duschgel. Vorhanden: Föhn und Handtücher. Es gibt einen großen Gemeinschaftsraum, in dem man selbst kochen kann. Tassen, Teller und ein Kühlschrank sind vorhanden. Die Heizung war nicht sehr warm, wahrscheinlich weil es draußen zu kalt war (damals -28 Grad Celsius). Der Wasserdruck war etwas niedrig, aber das Duschen war trotzdem angenehm. Die Warmwassertemperatur war akzeptabel. Die Unterkunft ist etwa 10 Gehminuten von der Hauptstraße entfernt. Es ist etwa 5 Gehminuten vom Treffpunkt der Tour entfernt. Ein 24-Stunden-Supermarkt befindet sich in der Nähe. Insgesamt ist es eine gute Unterkunft. Frühstück wird von 7:00 bis 10:00 Uhr angeboten. Check-in ist wochentags bis 20:00 Uhr möglich. Ab 20:00 Uhr ist ein Self-Check-in möglich. Ein Aufzug ist vorhanden!

The Glass Igloo was great but you have to walk to the guesthouse for your showers. The breakfast was great and the restaurant provided good options for lunch and breakfast. For the adventurous, you can go to the nearby supermarket and cook your meal in the sheltered fireplace. Don't forget to experience either the traditional or the electrical sauna during your stay! Most importantly, participate in the guided activities with hot drinks and roasted sausages such as husky sled rides, aurora hunting, and ice skating.

Das Hotel Santasport ist ein integriertes Resort mit Unterkünften, trekking, Skifahren, Radfahren, Snowboarden und vielen anderen Winteraktivitäten. Sie haben eine Spur für alle Aktivitäten und es war eine angenehme Reise, um die Wälder im Winter zu erkunden. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Bowlingstraße, einen Schwimmbad und eine Sauna. Es hat auch einen Kaffee. Die Ein- und Auscheckung war eine Brise und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfreich. Sie besuchen alle Gäste, die brauchen und nie versäumen, zu beeindrucken. Die Zimmergröße war vernünftig und sie haben auch ein Kleidung Trockner. Bett ist komfortabel und ich hatte gute Schlaf. Frühstück war gut mit Qualität Soread. Ich komme zurück zum Santasport Hotel, wenn ich für meinen Winterurlaub in Rovaniemi komme.

Das Zimmer ist sauber, und das Bett ist komfortabel. Das zusätzliche Bett wurde vor unserer Ankunft gemacht. Schlüsselsammlung ist in einem Pub, das war ein erster für uns. Normalerweise ist es in einem sicheren Schließfach außerhalb der Einheit gehängt. Das Toilette ist sauber und der Wasserdruck ist gut.

Self cook breakfast, ingredient provided. Easy located. Big room with living and kitchen, just feel a bit smelly after cooking. Sensor for bathroom is not too sensitive, light will turn off halfway showering. Overall staying experience is good.

Le personnel était serviable et professionnel.Nous avons adoré le petit déjeuner qui était vraiment diversifié et excellent.Les lits étaient confortables, la chambre propre.Nous n'avons pas aimé l'aménagement de la douche.Le niveau étant mal conçu, l'eau de la douche coulait dans la salle de bains.Nous avons apprécié le sauna dans la salle de bains et la bouilloire dans la chambre ainsi que l'armoire chauffante pour les vêtements.Nous avions une chambre dans le batîment de la réception et surtout sur le passage de motoneige, donc un peu bruyant.

Good gym facilities for those not using Ski service. Take-away breakfast was provided when we had to catch the 6am bus 100 to City for an event. Location is not convenient for public transport since there is only 6 buses per day where last bus is at 9pm.
