Comfortable private rooms with in-room amenities like ear plugs, pitcher, hot water kettle+mugs, salt+pepper and little treats, sufficient renovated shared shower WCs, plus homely touches like a fridge for guest use, hot beverage counter and free hot coffee, fruits and biscuits in the morning. Friendly and meticulous host who strives to give a peaceful and memorable stay for all guests: we take off shoes at the main entrance to minimise noise and keep the floor clean, and bathmats were supplied to keep showers dry for the next guest use. Yes, the hot geothermal shower water has a sulphuric smell but it adds character to the stay! Tip: have lunch or dinner at Naustid, the seafood restaurant opposite, and check out the bubbling stream beside the house!

Der Aufenthalt in einer Kapsel war eine völlig neue Erfahrung. Ich war begeistert von der Privatsphäre, den USB-Anschlüssen und der Universalsteckdose. Kein Schnarchen, obwohl die Plastiktüren beim Öffnen und Schließen Lärm machen. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob die Badezimmer benutzt oder gesperrt waren, aber einige scheinen ständig verschlossen zu sein. Die Duschkabine ist möglicherweise etwas eng und es gibt keine Ablage, sodass Toilettenartikel nur außerhalb der Duschkabine abgestellt werden können. Schöne Küche. Das gesamte Geschirr muss gespült und zur Desinfektion in die Spülmaschine gestellt werden. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Es gibt keinen Föhn. 1000 ISK für ein Handtuch zu bezahlen, schien unverschämt, aber in Island nicht ungewöhnlich.

Hotel is located on a mountain and you get a great view of akureryi city and the mountain view. Conveniently located with nearby supermarkets and restaurants.

Das Feste Gästehaus mit einem guten Frühstück. Die Reise dort fühlte sich episch, wie wir von wilden Pferden begrüßt wurden. Das Zimmer war klein, aber für eine Nacht ausreichend. Leider waren einige Gäste im gemeinsamen Bereich unberücksichtigt, vor allem hinsichtlich der Sauberkeit, des Lärms und des unbehaglichen Geruchs. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Verwendung der Heißröhren wäre kostenlos gewesen.

Das Guesthouse liegt an einer Schotterstraße und besteht aus mehreren kleinen Häusern mit sauberen, gut eingerichteten Zimmern. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Einziger Nachteil: Die Schallisolierung ist sehr schwach. Man hört Gespräche, Schnarchen und frühe Aufstehgeräusche fast so, als wäre man dabei. Insgesamt ein solider Aufenthalt – mit Ohrstöpseln deutlich angenehmer.

Der Service ist sehr gut, das Hotel ist gezogen, der Hotelbedienstete hat die Person speziell nach Reykjavik geschickt.

I booked one double room, but we have two adults and one 11 years old child. I am worry about that I need to add extra bed for my kid because only 2 single beds provided according to the booking record before I arrive. However, the truth is that the room has three single beds. That makes us have a good sleep. It also shows this hotel is so sweet for the guests. The room is cleaner and larger than any one I lived in Iceland. In addition, the breakfast is very rich. I strongly recommend this hotel if you want to travel or stay for the diamond circle in the Iceland.
