2-Sterne-Hotels in Katalonien, Spanien

Ich war letzte Woche im Generator und war mit meinem Aufenthalt wirklich zufrieden. Die Einrichtungen waren in ausgezeichnetem Zustand, sehr gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt notwendig ist. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals war ebenso bemerkenswert; immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und bei Fragen gerne behilflich. Eine weitere große Stärke von Generator ist seine Lage. Die Anbindung ist hervorragend, so dass Sie die Stadt problemlos erkunden können. Es ist definitiv ein idealer Ort für junge Leute, die alleine reisen und Leute kennenlernen möchten, da es die soziale Interaktion stark fördert. Ich würde es auch für Gruppen von Freunden empfehlen, die eine lebendige und funktionale Atmosphäre genießen möchten. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall noch einmal in Betracht ziehen!

Absolutely loved my stay there, the staff was so nice and welcoming. My room was small but I didn't need more space - the bed was double and very comfy and I had my own bathroom (pretty big in comparison) with lots of towels, fresh soap and tubes of showering gel (I travelled lightly so it was welcomed) so what else can one need. I loved the included breakfasts and the breakfast timeslot (from 8 to 12 - take notes all you other hotels out there!). There was a lot of variety for the price so IMO the food should satisfy most of the folks - I liked chorizo and cured ham, the wide selection of vegetables, the bread and croissants, and last but not least, the coffee was, pardon my expression, pretty damn good for a two star hotel. Tea was very ordinary in comparison but still okay. Having a kettle and a fridge in my room was super convenient. Wifi and tv quality was great. The walls aren't thick so when there's more guests it can get noisy - which didn't happen often to me but I can imagine how it can be during the high season - but that's a problem in most hotels all over the world. People are noisy animals, most of them. So if you are easily irritated etc consider taking & using earplugs, I guess. There were only two real downsides, let's say one and a half because only one was serious. My room was a bit too warm for my taste and when I realized that opening the window doesn't help, I tried using the air conditioning - which didn't work. I tried all the options, and the cooling mode made the room warmer instead of cooler. Which was a bummer. I didn't report that to the staff, since it wasn't a big issue for me at the moment - I spent most of my time outside the hotel anyway and came back at night when it was much cooler. But I can imagine it becoming a serious problem during the regular season in the summer or later in the spring. Air conditioning in a place like Tossa is essential, so yeah, better fix that ASAP, Turissa. Another thing, very minor this time, was that the cleaning lady who goes in to your room every day has a habit of straightening out the sheets on the bed every time. Yeah, like she did that every single day, lol. I mean I'm not that picky... Are you guys that picky (whoever reads this) ? Just leave it be and save yourself the work, lady, because you know it's gonna be a mess the next day, and the next, and the next - so it's like fighting windmills - unless your name is Donna Quixote, this is something uncalled for. But you know guys, if that's the only complaint one can make about the hotel, then you know Turissa is more than alright. Amiright or amiright guys;) Wish I could stay longer. PS: Oh and there's a pool for the guests, too. I didn't really have time to use (we were more excited dipping our toes in the sea anyway) it but I could watch it every day from the cantina when having my breakfast. Nice!

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage neben dem St. Paul's Hospital of the Cross. Wenn Sie ausgehen, befindet sich auf der linken Seite ein Bäckerei-Café und auf der rechten Seite Burger King und McDonald's. Zur Sagrada Familia sind es etwa zehn Minuten zu Fuß Mit der U-Bahn gelangen Sie in einer Haltestelle zur Sagrada Familia und in drei Haltestellen nach La Pedrera. La Pedrera und Casa Batlló sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Nehmen Sie die U-Bahn zum sechs Haltestellen entfernten Bahnhof Sens, von wo aus zahlreiche Züge nach Madrid und in andere Städte verkehren. Das Hotel liegt nicht allzu weit vom Park Güell entfernt und eignet sich daher als touristischer Zwischenstopp. Das Hotel selbst verfügt über eine durchschnittliche Ausstattung, eine etwas schlechte Schalldämmung und keinen Wasserkocher oder kostenloses Wasser. Im ersten Stock gibt es jedoch eine Mikrowelle und einen Verkaufsautomaten. Die ersten beiden Bilder zeigen den Eingang zum Hotel und das dritte Bild zeigt das St. Paul's Hospital auf der anderen Straßenseite, das heute als Architekturmuseum geöffnet ist.

Excellent séjour, Le personnel est extrêmement bienveillant, aimable et toujours prêt à aider. Leur professionnalisme a rendu notre séjour très agréable. L'hôtel est très confortable, propre et idéalement situé, à proximité de toutes les principales attractions et des transports. Je le recommande sans hésitation et j'y reviendrai avec plaisir

Das Personal ist super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, die Rezeption ist auch nachts besetzt, man kann also immer jemanden erreichen. Es gibt optional ein kleines Frühstück. Das tolle ist, dass man fast direkt neben dem Park Güell wohnt und eine super Aussicht über die Stadt hat. Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Die Rezeption ist freundlich und die Menschen, die bei uns wohnen, sind unkompliziert. Allerdings lässt sich die Klimaanlage nicht regulieren und ist etwas kalt.

Am ersten Tag, ohne Klimaanlage, hatte ich das Gefühl, vor Hitze zu sterben. Meine Mitbewohnerin scheint eine Essstörung zu haben, sodass sie sich mitten in der Nacht ständig übergeben musste ... Das Zimmer war muffig, heiß und stickig, und es gab keine Vorhänge, die die Zimmer voneinander trennten, sodass es keinerlei Privatsphäre gab. Es gab keine Gemeinschaftsküche und das Badezimmer war alt und extrem klein. Das Warmwasser kam nur zeitweise, und obwohl es ein Druckknopf war, waren meine Haare nass ... Verglichen mit dem Wohnumfeld in Frankreich war der Unterschied so groß, dass ich weinen wollte 😭

Well one long term guest in my room was crazy was allowed to do whatever he wants like switching light on and off all night long making noice talking to himself all night. Noone told him to not do it amd after I told him multiple times to not he still was super annoying...

Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und gaben mir Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten. Toll fand ich auch, dass sie mir bei Fragen immer gerne weiterhalfen. Ich fand es außerdem super, dass ich jederzeit süßes Brot essen konnte, wenn ich Hunger hatte. Mein Gepäck wurde sicher aufbewahrt, sodass ich mich diesbezüglich gut aufgehoben fühlte. Es war meine erste Alleinreise, und das Beste daran war, dass alles reibungslos verlief. Ich würde den Service auf jeden Fall wieder nutzen.

The stay was very pleasant at Soul Backpackers. The dormitories were clean and maintained. The common areas were colorful, well-kept, easy to socialise and meet new people. The staff is also courteous and friendly. They are a but pricey coz of proximity to main areas but overall and wonderful stay for few nights!
