Jeder im Holiday Inn Staunton war so freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war super und die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, hier zu bleiben!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und professionell. Das Zimmer war sauber. Einchecken war einfach und schnell. Es war ein Fußballteam im Hotel. Sie hatten ein wenig Lärm, sowie einige Kinder laufen in den Hallen eine Nacht. Das Personal bat sie, es beide Mal zu stillen. Ich habe nie in einem Hotel geblieben, wo das getan wurde. Das ruhigste Hotel, das ich je geblieben habe. Frühstück war Sie typisch kontinental. Das Personal stellte sicher, dass das Gebiet sauber gehalten und Lebensmittel verfügbar waren. An der Vorderseite erwähnt hatte das Bad-Sänke ein Tropfen. Sie fühlte sich schlecht, dass ich nicht erwähnt hatte. Es war wirklich nicht viel. Lage war perfekt. Nahe dem Flughafen. Ich würde es definitiv empfehlen.

Idk wenn hier in Washington Wasser zu trinken ist sicher. Aber es wäre besser, wenn sie eine Wasserfüllungsstation anstatt eine Eiswasserstation am Couver. Außerdem kann ich auch kein Trinkwasser aus dem Frühstücksstation finden. Nur Saft, Kaffee, Milch.
Es gibt auch etwas seltsames im Zimmer wie die Dusche ist so mächtig, dass auch die Gräber keine Splash verhindern können. Das Silikon, das die Flügel hält, war auch weg.
Ich denke, das Zimmer, das ich vor dem letzten Jahr bekam, ist viel besser als dieses Mal.
Aber insgesamt ist es ein guter Ort, um sich zu entspannen, bevor Sie morgens oder nachmittags über ihren Shuttle-Service fangen.

The hotel looks new & modern. Great location at the intersection of 81 & 460 to Blacksburg. Our room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. Very nice pillows & we all had a good night sleep. Breakfast although simple has all the ingredients I like for an early start. They offered 24 hours self help coffee & teas at the lobby was another great perk. Great stay all around!

Eincheckung war ein Problem. Als ich da war und anrufe, die Person, die ich sprach, sagte ich, dass meine Karte abgelehnt wurde und dass ich etwas mehr $30 schulde und wollte, dass ich Karteninformationen geben. Ich sagte, ich habe eine gedruckte Bestätigung in meiner Hand von Trip.com, die erklärte, dass sie bezahlt worden war. Nach etwa 15-20 Minuten und nachdem ich die Buchungsbescheinigungsnummer gegeben hatte, setzte die Dame mich auf und kam zurück und sagte, es sei okay und gab mir den Zimmercode. Andernfalls war es nett.

Older hotel, rooms are not updated but clean, and the location is the best part of this facility, coupled with a plethora of food options within 1 1-mile radius. Right adjacent to a metro station. Construction taking place across the street, so expect noise only during day hours through 4 pm. Parking is plenty. Supportive staff. Did not try their breakfast. Pool had a lifeguard ( during summer), though I did not use it.

DDayTripper420Just passing through on the way South. Went to service desk, they were extremely polite and courteous, so kudos for that. Then they hit me woth the price tag of $159 for the night. ”NO WAY” is all I thought, so I went online and found a booking here on Trip.com for $102. I jumped on it. I was tired, hot, and a little aggravated from the trip, so the price on Trip.com was a relief.
I started looking around and thats when I realized that the amenities all cost. They had complimetary coffee, so YaY!
Got up to the room, it was clean. Unloaded for the night, and it was finally showertime! I do my thing, get into the shower, which was a handicapped shower. It had a chair and a detachable showerhead for those hard to reach places. Well, this is where the problems started. This showerhead was supposed to be able to be locked into position on the pole provided, you k ow, for people that can stand. Well, the damn thing didnt lock. Nope, it stayed at crotch level, and so I was forced to use the detachable showerhead.
Whatever, a shower is a shower, and boy, this shower was GREAT! Then, after my shower, I discovered that they must have wanted me to take a bath afterwards. This is because the entire bathroom floor was flooded from my shower water, and the floor was definitely not graded towards the drain, so to clean it up, one would either need a wet/dry shop-vac or a squeegee, and wouldnt you know it, I left both of mine back North, hundreds of miles away!
I ended up using the towels to basically squeegee the water to the drain and get the floor cleaned up. I wasnt aware they kept their guests on the housekeeping payroll! My partner was unable to shower cause it would have caused another mess.
So, besides the fact that if they could have charged for tap water and air, they would have, and the pool waiting for me after my shower, I had a really good stay. The bed was so comfortable I had trouble getting out of it in the morning, and the complimentary coffee turned out to be fresh. The staff understood my concerns and were extremely friendly about providing their information for when I contacted trip.com for my refund.

GGastnutzerChecked in really late (around midnite but they held my room. I called ahead to let them know I'd be flying in late. Conveniently located on one of the major arteries, which incidentally conveniently ends at the US Coast Guard Training Center. I attended my son's training graduation but his checkout went long - probably because their NCO missed them and didn't want them to leave....so I ended up checking out of the hotel much later than the standard checkout time (11am - I checked out just after 1pm) - but because it was USCG related - they waived the late fee - which was greatly appreciated.
The entrance was easy to park (it was raining) and checkin was really simple once we confirmed my reservation. The breakfast nook was directly opposite the checkin counter which made things easier for later that morning (included breakfast). The elevator hallway had a machine which dispensed junk food and sodas - but you need physical cash to use them. Elevator made for deja vu as it's a standard Radisson layout. The room was clean - no weird smells and quite large and spacious with a receiving room (sofa and tv) hot water pot for coffee tea etc. The bathroom was well stocked with towels but the body wash was weirdly located next to the bathroom sink instead of the shower - that was strange. Hand soap was nice and sizable (useful as a body wash, given the fixed location of the body wash next to the sink). The bed was huge (king?) with plenty of pillows and bedding (sheets blankets etc). The room was quite warm which was nice since it was cold and wintery and wet outside. Staff were all very very nice and welcoming and polite.
All in all - most excellent experience from checkin to checkout. But it's the staff which make the experience smooth and enjoyable.

GGastnutzerIn pics and in person the modern fresh room style is appealing though the functionality is sub-par. An example: one night table was a solid piece, no drawer or shelf with the top diameter much smaller than my laptop. Typically, a phone (use as an alarm), a bottle of water and an iPad , e-reader or book/magazine would be on a nightstand. Whoops, no room for all that and the slick surface made me nervous to leave my iPad on it. The open closet is fine, especially for me as I don't hang or put clothes in a drawer, but the only space available that wasn't in the bathroom is directly below where one would hang their clothes and right above the fridge. This could make it a perfect spot for a soft sided cooler, but this relatively small space (didn't measure, maybe 14”x20” with Keurig-style coffee maker already on it) is where one might set snacks, extra sodas, the cereal one brings because they like to eat the same thing every day and need a spot to set their cereal bowl while grabbing milk out of fridge right below. Not sure about you, but I'm not terribly comfortable putting food & dishes in the bathroom. Unfortunately, that is where my coffee maker needed to go (if I'm remembering correctly) the outlets where not accessible so Mr. Nespresso did need to go in the bathroom.
Bathroom shower had some mold around the caulk area, otherwise serviceable. Not a horrible room overall, but not as nice as other similarly priced nearby chains so I'll stick to those.

GGastnutzerWir verbrachten das Wochenende in Wytheville, um zum FPHL Blue Ridge Bobcats Hockey gegen die Pee Dee IceCats zu spielen. Die Lage vom Hotel bis zur Hitachi Arena war ausgezeichnet. Wir werden am 27. und 28. zurück sein!

AAaron&AmyNicht beeindruckt überhaupt. Wir hatten das King Zimmer und es gab kaum ein Zimmer zu Fuß um das Bett. Wenn Sie ein Zimmer wollen und haben die Notwendigkeit für eine Art Privatsphäre von jemandem, der mit Ihnen im Zimmer wäre, dann ist das nicht, was Sie wollen ! Keine Brust mit Drachen, keine Nachtstange pro Satz, und wenn Sie ein Bad für Kinder haben möchten, um sie wieder zu baden, ist das nicht der Ort für Sie. Sicherlich wird nicht hier wieder bleiben. Das einzige positive ist das Zimmer und die Lobby war sauber.

GGuest UserDas ist ein wunderschönes Hotel! Es ist klassisch und elegant, und im Allgemeinen wird es Ihren Urlaub so viel besonderer machen. Die Lage ist großartig, da Sie zu Restaurants oder anderen Orten in Luray gehen können. Die Luray Caverns sind ein schneller Fahrt entfernt, wie ein Walmart und Food Lion, und Skyline Drive's Thornton Gap Entrance ist nahe. Ich habe im Circa '31 Restaurant zum Frühstück gegessen, was vernünftig bezahlt wurde (das Menü ist klein mit einigen Standard-Frühstücksoptionen). Das Speakeasy Restaurant ist sehr gut und hat jede Nacht verschiedene Spezialitäten/Geschäfte. Die Schlafzimmer sind klein, aber komfortabel. Die Bodenflächen sind schön, mit einem Bereich für Feuerwerk und Hampschirme sowie einem Pool und einem Heißröhrchen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und untergebracht.
Einige Empfehlungen für die Verwaltung:
~ Legen Sie Minikühlschränke in den Zimmern
~ Sitze auf den Balkon, damit die Menschen es als Sitzbereich verwenden können
~ Etwas, um mehr Gegenraum in den Badezimmern zu bieten
Ich empfehle das Mimslyn Inn an jeden, der im Luray-Bereich verbleibt!
