Ethan Allen Hotel, Danbury, CT We recently stayed at the Ethan Allen Hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. When we walked into the lobby, we were impressed by how welcoming and well-maintained it was. There was a convenient self-serve coffee and tea station with water and all the necessary condiments, which was a nice touch. Check-in was quick and easy. We were given a room on the first floor. Upon entering, we found the room to be very clean and spacious. Although we didn’t unpack, there was ample space for clothing and storage. A desk and chair were available, which would be useful for anyone needing to get work done. The room also included a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with pods, teabags, and all the condiments, very convenient. The TV was a good size and worked well. That said, the room itself is definitely in need of some upgrades. The sheers were broken and hanging off the hooks, and the privacy curtains were difficult to close. Both the curtains and sheers appeared worn and could use a good cleaning. The ceiling panels were noticeably yellowed, and while the bathroom was clean, it too showed signs of age. On a positive note, the towels were plentiful and of nice quality, and I appreciated the makeup mirror in the bathroom. The bed was very clean and comfortable. In summary, this hotel has many good qualities, especially in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and service. However, I would love to see the guest rooms updated to better match the inviting look and feel of the lobby. I would consider staying here again, especially if room renovations were made.

Die Lage des Hotels war für mich perfekt, da der Ort, an dem ich teilnahm, war unter dem Block des Hotels. Service und Sauberkeit waren auch perfekt. Das einzige, was ich nicht mag war, dass Sie in ihrer Parkgarage zu parken bezahlen mussten, auch wenn Sie im Hotel verblieben. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich das tun musste.

Ich war schon mehrmals dort und war immer mit dem Dienst zufrieden. Nur wenige Minuten nach Foxwoods Casino und viele andere Attraktionen.

Das gute Hotel, ich habe diesen Ort für eine Nacht auf der Straße von Boston nach New York gefunden, und ich dachte nicht, es gibt viele Spaßplätze in der Mystic Stadt. Das Museum ist auch sehr viel.

Great location , nice facilities. Friendly staff. Perfect breakfast but if they can add more salad or fruits corner would be great for everyone.

Location was perfect for us with quick access to Yale University and its nearby restaurants and shopping areas. Housekeeping services are minimum (just refills of amenities, exchange of towels, and garbage emptying) which fit us perfectly. Only downside is no restaurant but considering the location it was no problem - plus there is a lobby shop for those “emergencies” when you don’t want to walk anywhere. All staff were very kind and service minded.
