I had a minor accident in front of the hotel lobby—I hit the cement curb/bollard in front of the hotel, resulting in a slight scratch/damage to a floor tile (and this particular tile already had several previous damages from other people hitting it before). Subsequently, an Indian staff member (identified as a supervisor by his colleague) came and took pictures of the damaged tile. The issues I have with his conduct are as follows: He started chatting with a Chinese customer while pointing out the minor damage and simultaneously pointing towards my car, smiling and chuckling slightly as if mocking or being sarcastic. Then, another Chinese man (possibly a customer or staff) approached, and he again showed the damaged tile, smiling and chuckling lightly while pointing at my car. My issue here is: there were also Malay customers present; why did he choose the Chinese customers to point out this issue to, but not the Malay customers? He then approached me and said: ”You have hit and damaged this tile, and you need to know that I will report this to the hotel owner, and you should know that the owner of this hotel is a Chinese person, and I am certain you will have to pay for the damages.” What is the implication of saying, 'the owner of this hotel is a Chinese person'? I asked why he needed to make a scene and involve other customers to talk about the incident while laughing lightly and smiling as if being condescending, and why this incident was being exaggerated when he himself was aware and had mentioned that customers frequently hit that cement curb. Is it now my turn to be made to pay for the damage, after it has been hit multiple times by other customers previously? Am I being made a scapegoat to settle the costs of previous incidents? Where is the commitment to excellent Customer Service in terms of maintaining a customer's 'dignity' or 'reputation' (air muka) in front of other patrons? He made a fuss as if I had brought down the whole building. I am attaching photos of the tile damage and other pre-existing damages.

Sehr gut👍👍👍, das Hotel riecht so gut … Angefangen beim Eingang (Lobby) … Treppe … Aufzug bis zum Zimmer … Sehr gute Schallisolierung … So nah an Restaurants (so vielen) … Werde in Zukunft wieder buchen … Das Personal ist auch so freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit …

Everything is near the hotel, many restaurants, local markets, also the Melaka church isn’t too far from the hotel. I will consider to stay here again if I had time to visit Melaka again.

The location is very good. Walking distance to town and historical sites around 15 minutes. Hotel breakfast tastes good authentic Malay style. The only thing the drawback is the traffic, can hear music from the Trishaw . Very noisy. And the air con water is leaking . After maintenance services, the air con still continues to leak..

I booked a room on Trip.com, and the price included sales service tax and service fee, but the hotel still charged me tax upon check-in, which was not mentioned on Trip.com. I also don't know what kind of tax it was.

S&tayed at De Ocean Hotel Melaka and had a pleasant experience overall. The accommodation was well-maintained, offering a simple, clean, and cozy atmosphere. The room was tidy and comfortable, and the towels provided were clean. However, the bedsheets were a bit old and could use an update. Parking is available, which is convenient for guests traveling by car. It would be even better if the hotel could provide a water dispenser for added convenience. Overall, it's a decent and comfortable stay for short trips in Melaka.

MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiMy recent stay at Puteri Bay Hotel Melaka was an absolute dream, leaving me with lasting memories and a sincere appreciation for the art of hospitality. From the outset, the hotel radiated an air of sophistication and charm, setting the stage for what turned out to be an extraordinary experience. The check-in process was swift, and the staff displayed a perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness. It was evident that guest satisfaction was a top priority. The lobby, a tasteful blend of modern design and classic elegance, provided a welcoming introduction to the hotel's aesthetic. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the meticulous attention to detail. The décor was a harmonious mix of contemporary style and comfort, creating a serene retreat within the bustling city. The bed, with its high-quality linens and an assortment of pillows, offered a cocoon of relaxation that was hard to leave each morning. The hotel's amenities were a highlight of my stay. The fitness center featured top-of-the-line equipment, and the spa offered a range of indulgent treatments that provided a welcome escape. However, the pièce de résistance was the rooftop pool – a serene oasis with panoramic views, making it the perfect spot to unwind and take in the cityscape. Dining was a culinary journey. The hotel's restaurant boasted a diverse menu, showcasing culinary expertise with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. Each meal was a delightful experience, and the breakfast spread was a particular standout, offering an array of choices to satisfy every palate. What truly set apart was the exceptional service. The staff anticipated every need, and their genuine warmth made me feel not just like a guest, but like an honored friend. From concierge recommendations to housekeeping's meticulous attention to detail, the commitment to providing a flawless experience was evident at every turn. Nestled in a prime location, offered easy access to the city's attractions, ensuring that my explorations were both convenient and enjoyable. Whether I was venturing out for cultural excursions or simply strolling through nearby parks, the hotel's central location proved to be a valuable asset. In conclusion, my stay was a symphony of luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. It's a rare gem that effortlessly blends modern elegance with genuine hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an unforgettable retreat. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return and relive the magic of this remarkable hotel.

WWong GLLocation is great as it is next to Joners Street. However, the seems like a half-hearted attempted to build a home stay. The amenities are really basic and anything who wants to here must be prepared for all the shortfalls. I will highlight just a few. The owner has kindly make available mosquito incense but you need to have your own matches or lighter which we don't have. The water flow from the shower and to the toilet sink is quite poor. It was very low on a couple of days and badly affected our conveniences. Lastly, the wall and ceiling are not well insulated. When there are people staying on the upper floor, every foot steps can be heard very loudly so much as that my partner, who is very tolerant of such things, even suggested to go up and ask the occupants to tread lightly. The place has a lot of potential. But for now it is definitely not one that I would return to stay.

言先生My stay at The Nest House in Melaka and below is the review:- A stylish boutique homestay with character, good decor, natural light, comfortable bed. Helpful staff who are friendly and willing to assist. Quiet nights despite being fairly central; good place if you want peace but still be near what Melaka offers. Free parking is a plus. Free snacks/drinks/refreshments in the common area are often mentioned. Toothpaste is not provide, please bring your own. If your room is upstairs, there will be stairs and no lift.
