Stayed for one night. Beds were comfortable. Staff are friendly. Breakfast cost 1,500yen with decent spread. No complimentary car park. We parked opposite the hotel and paid at a discounted price of 900yen. Morioka station is about 20mins walk.

Toyoko Inn well known as one of big chain Hotel in Japan among others. This is my first time to stay at Toyoko Inn and I am happy! Despite I still confused how to go there from Morioka Station (we need to going down from underground and there is a lot tunnel 😭) The building was closed to everywhere. Food was great! And they clean my room on day 2 (I thoughts they only clean on day 4) and i wasn’t prepare it so my room completely messed up. Sorry! T

Der jährliche Skiurlaub findet auf dem Ambi-Plateau statt. Da die Hotels im Skigebiet teurer sind, habe ich ein nahegelegenes Hotel mit einer heißen Quelle zum Ausprobieren gesucht. Das Hotel organisiert einen kostenlosen Transfer von JR, das Personal ist höflich und hilfsbereit, Lob! Die Unterbringung umfasst zwei Mahlzeiten, das Frühstück ist jeden Tag das gleiche und es wird eine kleine Menge an Speisen in Buffetform bereitgestellt. Zum Abendessen gibt es abwechselnd Shabu Shabu, Rindfleisch vom Holzkohlegrill und Sukiyaki. Das Rindfleisch war Tazawa-Rindfleisch. Ich persönlich fand das Fleisch nicht 10 Punkte ausgezeichnet, aber es war akzeptabel. Das Hotel verfügt über eine heiße Quelle, zwei private Bäder und gute Einrichtungen. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die etwas abgelegenere Lage, wer nicht selbst fährt, muss sich einen Shuttle vom Hotel zum Skigebiet organisieren lassen. Auch die täglichen Frühstücks-, Abendessens- und Shuttle-Zeiten müssen im Voraus geplant werden, so dass man nicht jeden Tag frei und einfach entscheiden kann, wann man isst, wann man ins Skigebiet fährt und wann man zurückkehrt.

The hotel was fantastic! Staff were all very friendly. Check in process was hassle free and easy. Housekeeping even hangs fresh towels and toiletries outside my room as I’ve indicated no cleaning required and that’s really nice of them. Location was marvellous! Located just right opposite the Morioka Shinkansen Station. Use the underpass to get across the streets. Elevators to the underpass is located near the bus station. So do not worry if you have bulky luggage. The room I stayed in is spacious even for 2 pax with big luggage. Water pressure and heater works well. There are plenty of food options in the areas and a McDonald at B1 of the small Mall across the street. Convenient store is just along the main road.

Location is very good, just two minutes walk from JR station. The shuttle bus stop to ski area is just one minute walk. Next to hotel is a big parking lot. Room is clean, but no hook for hanging stuff in the bathroom. No expectation in public bath, better than nothing. Kitakima is a very sleepy town, few selection of restaurants in town, no restaurant near the hotel, but one inside the hotel. Steak is great there. Wrong room type had been allocated to me ( not the problem of the hotel), but finally being compensated by Trip.com.

Good location and near to the airport. I would say it is a very practical hotel to stay over while waiting for flight. It meet all the needs, have a bath house vending machine,washing machine etc... Breakfast was also pretty good. Taxi to airport was less than 10 mintutes and about 1100Yen. Can't really hear any planes flying so can sleep peacefully as well. Hotel Staff was also helpful in booking Taxi for me. Have a 7 eleven nearby.

An sich ein sehr gutes Hotel, aber mit wahnsinnig kleinen Zimmern (typisch Japan eben). Ich fand leider ein paar schwarze Haare auf dem Dekokissen und im Bad, die nicht von mir stammen, aber ansonsten war es sehr sauber und ruhig - die Geräuschdämmung ist hervorragend. Man erreicht den Bahnhof wunderbar, ohne Treppen benutzen zu müssen. Ich wünschte nur, die Klimaanlage wäre nicht zentral gesteuert - das Hotel hatte den Heizungsmodus an, aber ich brauchte den Kältemodus.

Es ist eine zweitägige und eintägige Reise. In jüngster Zeit habe ich oft in einem warmen Hotel gelebt, und Einrichtungen und Dienstleistungen entsprechen nicht den Ratingstandards. Die warme ist so zufriedenstellend wie erwartet. Es gibt nicht viele Einreisende, so dass ich es sehr gerne genießen kann. Aber die Innenfläche des Gebäudes ist sehr kalt am Abend, so dass Sie warme Kleidung brauchen, wenn Sie das Gästezimmer verlassen. Wenn viele Hotels zu einem solchen Preis übernachten können, wäre das hilfreich. Ich hoffe, du machst dein Bestes.

Amazing view and spacious room. If you are staying 1 night, be sure to visit the onsen at the evening / afternoon, because next morning you get to try another different set of onsen. Good food. Highly recommend. There is a special performance at the hall at 8.15pm until 2027, non guest need to pay 1,500jpy and we get to watch it for free. Very memorable experience. Contact hotel before hand to book a shuttle service from morioka station, they dropped you at the doorstep.

Great stay. Front desk was courteous and offered complimentary luggage storage after checkout. Room was nice, well designed and had a small couch which was really great! 10 mins from Morioka Station by bus (easy) or 15 by foot. Many local attractions, bars and restaurants nearby. If you like a dive bar don’t mis Soul Bar Jody across the street. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the room, but can share a few recs for good spots within a 10 min walk. There is also a Starbucks on the first floor if you need a little something to get you going before heading outside.
