3-Sterne-Hotels in County Galway, Irland

Absolut fantastische Zeit. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, das Bett war auch sehr groß und bequem. Jesus im Restaurant war sehr freundlich. Nichts war ihm zu viel Mühe. Viele Parkplätze. Taxi in die Stadt zwischen 7 und 10 Euro. Ich würde definitiv empfehlen, das Frühstück zu bestellen, es gibt eine fantastische Auswahl, alles war köstlich. Ich werde auf jeden Fall in dieses Hotel zurückkehren. Galway ist auch absolut fantastisch, vielleicht 15 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum, aber das Taxi war billig, also sind wir so gereist.

Sehr günstige Lage - nur eine Minute oder zwei Spaziergänge vom Bahnhof. Zimmer war sauber, Einrichtungen waren für den Preis vertretbar. Das Problem, das wir hatten, war jedoch nicht vor der Ankunft am Abend überprüft werden. Während man versuchte, sich anzumelden, konnten einige Gruppen anmelden - nachdem sie früher an diesem Tag eine E-Mail von der Unterkunft erhalten hatten. Aus welchem Grund auch immer, wir haben unsere nicht erhalten. Nach einer Reihe von Nachrichten/Anrufen und der Suche nach Hilfe des Hotels auf der Straße konnten wir endlich Kommen aus der Unterkunft erhalten, um Eintritt zu erhalten. Während der Einzelne aus Madison House Adamant war, sie die E-Mail geschickt haben, konnten sie auf Anfrage nicht beweisen ...

Amazing accomodation in Athenry. We booked this accomodation because it was a 20 minute train ride from Galway and the lodge was a very short walk from the train station. We really enjoyed being at the Lodge at the Old Barracks. The accomodation had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. But what was a true highlight was the breakfast at the cafe below (included with our booking) - the food was so delicious and better than any other hotel breakfast I’ve had. Would come back just for the breakfast!!  Small note, the floor above creaked when the people moved around the room above which was a bit of a disturbance early in the morning or at night.  But overall, would 10/10 recommend!

The location is good, close to restaurants and supermarkets. I didn’t like that so many things were broken. The shelf in the bathroom was loose and tilted, the wall lights next to the beds needed tightened as well, as they flipped on the side. The bathroom door handle and lock didn’t work. We had some long dark hair in our room. A lot was broken or crooked. It was ok for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. The girl at the desk was not very knowledgeable regarding her surroundings. I’ve asked about the Burren.  The Italian restaurant was good, the breakfast in the morning was good as well. However I emailed the hotel for gluten free options but I didn’t get any.

Hyde Hotel in Galway is a stylish and comfortable choice with a fantastic location. The rooms are modern, well-designed, and spotlessly clean, making for a very pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently situated near the city centre, perfect for exploring Galway’s attractions, restaurants, and nightlife. One of the highlights was the breakfast—absolutely fantastic! There was a wide selection of fresh and delicious options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. It was well worth it and a great way to start the day. Overall, Hyde Hotel is an excellent option for a city break, offering both comfort and a top-quality breakfast experience.

The Connacht Hotel comfortable, busy, and a bit chaotic in a very Galway way. Good food, solid pool, loads of families and weekend groups. Parts feel modern, parts feel stuck in 2012, but the atmosphere carries it. No air-conditioning so it's hard to sleep.

Angenehm kurzer Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel an der Rande der Stadt Galway. Einfacher Zugang über Bus zum Stadtzentrum. Bequem Parkplatz. Ich hatte eine gute Mahlzeit in der Bar/Restaurant, die ich gründlich genossen hatte. Der Service war schnell trotz der Tatsache, dass eine Buslast von Menschen mit mir in das Restaurant/Bar angekommen ist. Ich habe keine Zweifel, dieses Hotel an Freunde und Familie zu empfehlen und werde sicherlich wieder hier bleiben.

We stayed on the 5th of September. It's a beautiful hotel. We enjoyed everything about this place except the unbearable heat in the room. It was impossible to sleep. There was a portable fan but it was very noisy.And even when it's on, it wasn't helpful. No air conditioner. We had a very poor sleep. And no matter how much we enjoyed the gym, swimming pool, food, friendly staff and the atmosphere of the hotel, we would not stay here next time.

It was a bit tricky to find but the staff were very helpful. They suggested free parking for the night and even provided a map to get there. They lent us an adaptor as Swiss plugs could not go into Irish sockets. Very pleasant stay and the room was fine, all necessary amenities available as well as aircon.
