4-Sterne-Hotels in Oslo County, Norwegen

For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt angenehm. Obwohl es ein kleiner Hiccup mit meiner Zimmerbuchung gab, die meine Eincheckung verzögerte, schätzte ich die Bemühungen sowohl von der Hotelrezeption (insbesondere Jordan) als auch von Trip’s Representative (Nico) bei der raschen Lösung der Angelegenheit. Das Zimmer selbst war ziemlich grundlegende, aber die wunderschöne Lage und leckeres Frühstück mehr als für sie gemacht. Ich würde sicherlich überlegen, wieder mit Clarion Hotels zu bleiben und zu bleiben.

Wir haben die Wahl dieses Hotels in Stockholm keine Sekunde bereut. Der Ausblick direkt vor dem Hotel ist atemberaubend! Jeden Morgen wurden wir von dieser spektakulären Landschaft begrüßt. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Unser Familienzimmer war riesig und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war gut. Alles in allem hatte meine Familie eine schöne Zeit hier. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist deutlich einfacher, da das Hotel bergauf liegt. Obwohl die Metro in unmittelbarer Nähe ist, kann es mit Gepäck etwas beschwerlich sein.

Highly recommended. The hotel is part of an old post office, located right behind a bus stop, 100m from a tram stop and 500m from Oslo Central Station. There are restaurants just downstairs or nearby. The room is large enough and well-equipped, with a washing machine, a big drying rack, a microwave and all utensils. There is a public room for (self-service, super convenient, pretty large space) luggage storage facilities and all the necessites (tea packs, towels, linens, and ear plugs etc., though it is quiet at night) Everything is done on app, including check-in/out and opening the doors. However, the door-opening function in the app doesn't work sometimes so you have to use code instead (there's no reception). Also, you have to go through some stairs at entrance and a winding passage to reach your room. The room is a little bit dark at night (even with all the lights on) for reading and writing. The TV is located in a weird position.

Meine Mutter und ich waren uns einig, dass dies unser Lieblingshotel der vier Hotels war, in denen wir während unserer Skandinavienreise übernachtet haben. 1️⃣ Das Zimmer war geräumig; selbst mit zwei geöffneten 71-cm-Koffern hatte man noch genügend Platz. 2️⃣ Der Fernseher bot Zugriff auf YouTube und Netflix, was ein absolutes Plus war. Nach einem langen Sightseeing-Tag war es herrlich, ins Hotel zurückzukehren und beim Essen YouTube zu schauen. 3️⃣ Das Zimmer hatte einen Sessel und einen Tisch – ideal zum Essen und Entspannen. 4️⃣ Die Matratze war angenehm weich, was uns sehr gefiel; sie war sehr bequem. 5️⃣ Es gab einen Eiswürfelbereiter auf dem Boden, und praktischerweise standen Plastikbehälter zur Selbstbedienung bereit. 6️⃣ Das Personal war höflich und immer freundlich. Wie bereits erwähnt, waren wir mit diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden. ⚠️ Allerdings war der einzige Wermutstropfen, dass die Plattform vor unserem Fenster eine Baustelle war. Das hat uns in jeder Hinsicht sehr enttäuscht. // Wir bezogen Zimmer 420 im 4. Stock. Nach dem Einchecken mittags bemerkten wir eine Plattform vor unserem Fenster mit einem lauten Betonrohr. Da es aber Tag war, gingen wir davon aus, dass das Hotel Bauarbeiten zu einer angemessenen Zeit durchführte und schenkten dem keine weitere Beachtung. Ärgerlich war jedoch, dass die Bauarbeiten am nächsten Morgen gegen 7:30 Uhr vor unserem Fenster wieder begannen und uns den Schlaf raubten. Ich glaube nicht, dass 7:30 Uhr eine zulässige Bauzeit ist. Wir gingen zur Rezeption, um uns zu beschweren, wurden aber abgewiesen und unser Anliegen nicht ernst genommen, was uns noch wütender und enttäuschter machte. Wir baten um ein anderes Zimmer, aber die Rezeption sagte, es sei nur noch ein anderes Zimmer auf derselben Etage frei, das angeblich in einer anderen Richtung läge und daher nicht so laut wäre. Wir gingen mit unserem Zimmerschlüssel nach oben und stellten fest, dass beide Zimmer eindeutig in dieselbe Richtung lagen. Der Bahnsteig vor dem Fenster war noch im Bau und es war immer noch sehr laut. Das hat uns sehr verärgert. Wie kann ein so großes Hotel mit über dreißig Stockwerken nur ein einziges freies Zimmer haben? Wir hätten gerne einen Aufpreis für ein anderes Zimmer bezahlt, aber die Rezeption konnte uns keine hilfreiche Lösung anbieten. Im Gegensatz dazu hatte ich letztes Jahr in einem Pariser Hotel einen Stromausfall, und das Hotel erstattete mir am nächsten Tag umgehend den Zimmerpreis – eine sehr zufriedenstellende Reaktion. Wenn Sie demnächst dort übernachten möchten, rate ich Ihnen davon ab, da die Bauarbeiten unglaublich laut sind.

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Man kann die überdachte Brücke zum nahegelegenen Einkaufszentrum überqueren, im ersten Stock aussteigen, die Straße überqueren und direkt ins Hotel gelangen. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist aufgrund von Renovierungs- und Bauarbeiten sowie aus menschlicher Sicht etwas schmutzig und wenig ansprechend. In nur fünf Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die Hauptstraße, den zentralen Platz oder die Oper. Das Hotel selbst ist, wie die anderen Kettenhotels auch, durchaus empfehlenswert. Kostenloser Kaffee/Tee, Wasser/Limonade stehen in der Lobby bereit, manchmal auch Obst und Gebäck. Wir bekamen ein geräumiges Zimmer im vierten Stock mit großen, zu öffnenden Fenstern. Das ist bei Hitze sehr angenehm, allerdings gehen die Fenster zu einem Innenhof hinaus, sodass man weder Aussicht hat noch gut lüften kann. Das Zimmer war zwar belüftet, aber nicht klimatisiert. Das Bett war bequem. Das Badezimmer war groß und angenehm mit einer geräumigen Dusche, in der man sich nicht drängen muss. Es gab zwei Waschbecken und ein großes Fenster. Eine Sitzecke mit zwei Sesseln und einer Stehlampe (ohne Glühbirne...). Das Zimmer war in einem akzeptablen, aber nicht herausragenden Zustand. (Fehlende Glühbirne, Flecken auf dem Sesselbezug, verstopfter Duschkopf, den wir um Austausch baten und der umgehend erfolgte). Ein sehr gutes, abwechslungsreiches und wunderbares Frühstück, wie in der gesamten Hotelkette. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen, wenn wir viel Gepäck hätten und nur eine Nacht dort verbringen wollten, aber nicht für einen Urlaub.

Fabulous location about 5 mins walk from Oslo central station depending if you have long or short legs. Walking distance to many attraction and whilst we got the Oslo Pass we only used it for transport a few times for the attractions further out I e The Norwegian Cultural Museum. Upon arrival we were greeted by Thea and Maura who were very professional and helpful on recommending things to do and traditional restaurants- of which we tried to eat at them all! We received a room upgrade which was lovely and they must have remembered when I mentioned we were here for my partner's birthday as there was a lovely birthday card and chocolates on the evening we came back from a long day out. The room whilst an upgrade was lovely but Still smaller than expected so not sure how small the standard room would have been. Room was well equipped with hair dryer, bathrobes, toiletires, coffee and tea making facilities. Also an ironing bard and iron. Only two slightly negative things were that the previous guest socks were in the back of the cupboard, and there is only hanging space to put your clothes. Breakfast was lovely, great selection and caters well for vegetarians. You get option of ordering from a menu as well as buffet. Restaurant staff are attentive. 5/5 for staff 5/5 for location

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Quality Hotel Hasle Linie during our New Year’s trip to Oslo, and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome with warm smiles and helpful service. Check-in was smooth and fast, which was perfect after a long travel day. Our rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable — exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay with a group of friends. The beds were cozy, the bathroom was spotless, and the views from the rooms were lovely. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made everything feel special for the holiday. The location was fantastic, just a short distance from major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. It made exploring Oslo so convenient, whether we were heading out for dinner or wandering around the city to enjoy the New Year festivities. One highlight was the breakfast buffet — fresh, varied, and delicious. There was something for everyone, and it gave us great energy to start each day full of adventure. Overall, Quality Hotel Hasle Linie gave our group a memorable and comfortable stay. We loved celebrating the New Year here, and we would absolutely come back again. Highly recommended!

Ausstattung: Frühstück und Abendessen inklusive – einfach perfekt! Die Preise in Norwegen sind relativ hoch, daher ist ein Buffet im Hotel ein absolutes Muss! Sie werden nicht nur satt, sondern ernähren sich auch gesund. Die Schalldämmung ist mittelmäßig; morgens hört man den Wecker im Nebenzimmer, aber auf Reisen braucht man ja nicht unbedingt auszuschlafen. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Das Restaurantpersonal ist sehr freundlich und begrüßt Sie mit „Guten Morgen“ und wünscht Ihnen eine angenehme Reise. Gäste können ihr Gepäck kostenlos aufbewahren. Lage: 8 Gehminuten vom Osloer Hauptbahnhof und 10 Gehminuten von der Osloer Oper entfernt. Oslo selbst ist jedoch nicht sehr groß; vom Hauptbahnhof aus sind die meisten Orte innerhalb von 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der entscheidende Vorteil ist, dass sich das Hotel bereits im Herzen von Oslo befindet und die Straßen nach 20 Uhr praktisch menschenleer sind. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Oslo bin!

Definitely a busier part of town but we enjoyed being in the middle of it. Could see and hear the water fountains in the park from window. There is a little second level perch/balcony which was amazing to sit at during the evening sun while sipping some of the delicious white wine provided by hotel. Easy walk to the train stations and overall great location for walking to all of the places we wanted to go to. Beds were very comfortable and we had excellent sleep! Morning breakfast was amazing and had a very nice ambiance! I can’t believe the fresh juice station and health shots…America needs to step up the game as far as hotel breakfasts.
