Zufällig bei Trip.com gefundenes Hotel am Kawaguchiko, sehr empfehlenswert! Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit Balkon und Blick, inklusive Frühstück und Abendessen vom Buffet, für etwas über 1000 [Währungseinheit, z.B. RMB/JPY, je nach Kontext]. 👩🏻 Service: Das Hotel hat eine chinesische Rezeptionistin, die auch am Telefon extrem geduldig war. Wir kamen ziemlich spät im Hotel an und wurden trotzdem noch vom Shuttle abgeholt. Als wir ankamen, hätten wir fast das Abendessen verpasst, aber die Rezeptionistin ließ uns zuerst essen und dann einchecken 🥺. Am nächsten Morgen beim Shuttle war die chinesische Rezeptionistin auch sehr geduldig und freundlich und sagte uns, wir sollten uns keine Sorgen machen. ⛰️ Aussicht: Ich kann nur sagen, es ist jeden Cent wert! Man kann den Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang bequem vom Zimmer aus beobachten, und unten hat man einen Panoramablick auf die Berge. Beim nächsten Mal werde ich wieder hier buchen. 🍜 Essen: Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem Aussichtspunkt am Kawaguchiko. Beim Essen im Erdgeschoss hat man einen ungestörten Blick auf die Berge. Das Frühstück gibt es wohl zu vier Zeitfenstern: 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 Uhr. Das Abendessen ist von 18:00 bis 19:30 Uhr. ♨️ Thermalquellen: Im fünften Stock gibt es getrennte Innen-Thermalbäder und Bäder für Männer und Frauen mit Blick auf den Fuji. Die Pflegeprodukte sind von Pola. (Wer zum ersten Mal ein Thermalbad besucht, sollte daran denken, ein Handtuch mitzunehmen, um sich nach dem Bad abzutrocknen). 🏠 Sauberkeit: Ich war besorgt, weil in den Kommentaren stand, dass die Einrichtungen alt seien, aber tatsächlich ist alles sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Man merkt, dass es sehr sorgfältig gewartet und instand gehalten wird. 🚗 Shuttlebus: Vom Kawaguchiko-Bahnhof gibt es nur von 15:00 Uhr bis nach 17:00 Uhr einen Shuttleservice des Hotels. Andernfalls muss man den öffentlichen Bus nehmen. 🚌 Bus: Man muss hinter dem Touristeninformationszentrum Tickets kaufen und an Haltestelle 1 bis zur 12. Haltestelle fahren (ich weiß nicht, ob das jeden Tag gleich ist, man kann über Trip.com das Hotel anrufen und die chinesische Rezeptionistin fragen). 🧳 Gepäckaufbewahrung: Wir kamen um 12:00 Uhr an, stellten unser Gepäck in die Münzschließfächer am Kawaguchiko-Bahnhof und fuhren dann mit dem Bus zum Yamanakako (es gibt dort einen Wechselautomaten für Kleingeld, für 500 Yen kann man einen 20-Zoll-Koffer und zwei Rucksäcke bis Mitternacht aufbewahren).

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

Das Hotel scheint schon länger geöffnet zu sein. Es liegt auf einem Berggipfel mit 360-Grad-Panoramablick und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Fuji. Zimmerzustand: Wir hatten ein Zimmer für vier Personen gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich, sodass wir sehr gut schlafen konnten. Das Badezimmer roch etwas unangenehm, aber wir informierten das Personal, und es wurde umgehend behoben. Obwohl das Problem nicht vollständig beseitigt wurde, merkte man, dass man sich bemüht hatte, es zu beheben. Service: Ausgezeichnet. Das Personal sprach Englisch und war sehr hilfsbereit. Frühstück: Das Frühstück hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Auswahl war gut. Es schließt zwar etwas früh um 9:30 Uhr, aber das ist in Ordnung. Im Speisesaal kann man den Blick auf den Fuji genießen. Angrenzend befindet sich ein Garten, in dem man spazieren gehen und den Fuji in seiner vollen Pracht fotografieren kann. Insgesamt vergebe ich 9,5 von 10 Punkten. Punktabzug gibt es für den leichten Geruch im Badezimmer, der möglicherweise auf ein veraltetes Abflusssystem zurückzuführen ist.

Wir waren begeistert von dem Ferienhaus mit der Sauna unweit des Bahnhofs und der Busstation. Es war der perfekte Abschluss unserer Japanreise. Wir hatten einen direkten Blick auf den Mt. Fuji, sogar vom Bett und vom Wohnbereich ind der Terrasse aus. Die Unterkunft war für zwei Personen riesig. Es gab die Möglichkeit, noch 2 bis 4 weiteren Personen einen Schlafplatz zu bieten. Neben den Artikeln der Körperpflege standen uns eine voll funktionsfähige Küche nebst täglichem Brötchenkorb, Kaffee und Tee sowie Wasser zur Verfügung. Der abendliche Saunagang krönte unseren Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gern wieder und wünschen den Betreibern weiterhin viel Erfolg und allzeit nette und zufriedene Gäste.

Our stay at this hotel in Yamanakako was absolutely wonderful. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and such a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. We stayed in a Japanese-style room, and it exceeded all of our highest expectations — spacious, comfortable, authentic, and truly special. The breakfast was delicious and incredibly generous. There was so much food that it was difficult to finish everything! The grounds around the hotel are also beautifully arranged and cared for, creating a very relaxing environment. We also had dinner there, which was excellent and offered at a very reasonable price. Yamanakako itself is much calmer and more peaceful than Kawaguchiko, so for us it was definitely the better choice. We highly recommend both the area and this hotel to anyone looking for a more relaxing stay near Mount Fuji. The only possible downside for some travelers might be the limited transportation options, but for us it was not a problem at all. There is a bus that circles the lake, and we easily reached Oshino, Fujiyoshida, and Kawaguchiko. In the evenings the town becomes wonderfully quiet, which was actually a huge advantage. After busy days in Tokyo, the silence and calmness here felt deeply relaxing. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. We would especially like to thank them because my husband accidentally left his insulin medication in the refrigerator in our room. We did not even realize it was missing. After finding it during cleaning, the staff contacted us immediately and literally drove to the bus stop just five minutes before our bus to Mishima arrived to hand us the medication personally. We were truly touched by their kindness and care. This level of hospitality is rare and unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Last minute booking and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The cabin was extremely spacious, well equipped, warm, and comfortable. Lots of room for our family of five to spread out! We also all loved the PJs! The location is excellent with onsite parking and even a small onsen. We didn’t take the breakfast or BBQ option but had everything needed to cook for ourselves. Best of all was the view - despite the rainy day, Mt Fuji made a guest appearance late in the evening, which we could enjoy right from our cabin.

Das größte Problem ist, dass es weit vom Kawaguchi-See entfernt ist! Es ist in Ordnung, wenn es Sommer ist, aber der Winter ist wirklich zu weit weg und schwierig zu laufen! ! ! Nachdem wir uns das Feuerwerk angesehen hatten, gingen wir eine Stunde zurück. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Shuttleservice zum Bahnhof, frühestens um 8:00 Uhr und spätestens um 18:00 Uhr. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und bietet freien Blick auf den riesigen Berg Fuji. Die Heizung im Zimmer ist jedoch sehr alt . Es ist echtes heißes Quellwasser.

The shuttle service ryokan provides after 1430 comes very handy especially with luggages and kids standing in the cold. Saves the hassle of taking the red bus line. Every room has a view of fuji-san which is just amazing. U can catch the breathtaking sunrise and sunset view right in the room. Food is perhaps the other major highlight of staying at ryokans, and the food at Fuji Ginkei are mostly hits. The kaiseki dinner is so satisfying even though they are serving in small portions. And they tasted amazing. The ryokan also included small snacks for guests to enjoy in room with sencha. They even put together a small celebration platter for us! Highly recommended. 🙌🏻

Just stayed for one night to see Mt. Fuji and Iyashi no Sati. Wish we stayed for more! The location is great, very close to Kawaguchiko Station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean, has tatami, and also has futons (besides the beds). Our room is directly facing towards Mt. Fuji, but the neighbouring building blocked it so only the tip is visible. We went in winter so there weren't many flowers in the garden. But they have a specific spot within the resort to see Mt. Fuji clearly. There are also plenty of local restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Will definitely come here again!
