Art der Reise: Wir gingen zum Toba Aquarium, um Seeotterbabys zu sehen, und nach Mikimoto, um Perlen zu sehen~~ Bequemer Transport: Direkt am Bahnhof Kintetsu verkehrt ein Shuttlebus, der tagsüber alle 20 Minuten fährt. Vom Bahnhof Kintetsu aus können Sie zu Fuß zum Aquarium und zur Perleninsel gehen, die beide ganz in der Nähe liegen. Umgebung: Sehr sauber, mit heißen Quellen im ersten Stock, Lobby und Restaurant im zweiten Stock, Gästezimmer im dritten Stock und darüber ~ klare Aufteilung Verpflegung: Es gibt mehrere Restaurants. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren recht gut (es gab Sashimi, Rindfleisch, Hummer und Honigmelone. Obwohl es nicht nach viel aussah, war es nach jeder Mahlzeit dennoch sehr sättigend). Beim Einchecken gibt es Willkommenssnacks und Tee. In der Lobby gibt es auch eine Kaffeemaschine und abends gibt es gebackene Reiskuchen und ähnliches (ich war zu satt, um im Detail zu studieren) Thermalbad: Alle Mikimoto-Toilettenartikel werden nach dem Waschen sehr gerne verwendet. Our stay at Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality. If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

Долго выбирала отель в Тобе - остановилась на Izumigo Hotel Altia Toba и не разочаровалась. Есть трансфер от/до станции Тоба. Снаружи здание очень красивое и необычное, внутри всё тоже весьма достойно. Номер нам достался слегка ”уставший”, но это с лихвой компенсировалось очень вкусными завтраками/ужинами (завтраки были европейские, ужины - кайсеки, в обоих случаях кормили ”на убой”), а также совершенно фантастическим видом с балкона.)) Онсен довольно просторный и приятный, есть сауна. В ротенбуро на улице не была, но такой вариант есть. Классно провели тут три дня!

The hotel is very overpriced for an old facility.  We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened.  Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean.  Furniture and decoration scream OLD.   Most front desk workers are not Japanese.  They claim to have an ”international crew” but the problem is they don't know much about Japan.  When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country.  On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English.  We booked an 8-course dinner.  The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese.  The menu is in Japanese only.   This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD.  It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is.

Unfortunately this hotel was advertised in their Policies page as ”Children not permitted at this hotel”. On the strength of this policy, I was expecting an adult venue, with appropriate facilities. The hotel was completely the opposite. I would describe it as a family friendly establishment, which, if this is what you are looking for, it's perfect. Great place for children, lots to explore, the staff were super friendly, but because it was school holidays it was full of children. The best thing was the indoor golf simulator (no children here), but it definitely plays to the right, so adjust your feet by 20 degrees. The location is a bit out of the way, but the shuttle bus is very handy. The restaurant was full, so I missed out on a meal, so take some supplies with you, as there are no shops near by, and there wasn't anything available in the way of snacks. It wasn't one of my better experiences, but the views were amazing!!!

The room is clean and spacious. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and a small shopping mall with a supermarket, making it very easy to get around and pick up daily necessities.

i was so shocked with the bathroom and toilet, SO NICE AND AO CLEAN!!!!!! even their shampoo and conditioner were so good, i have to ask the host what it were 😂 and it’s like they really think what the guest will need. the only downside was the bed is obviously used many times now. it squeaks with a little movement. THANK YOU SO MUCH
