I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Spinning Wheel Inn. Our accommodations were spacious, comfortable and clean. With 3 adults and 6 children, the pool was a life saver! The adults had fun and it kept the kids entertained.

The location was great! They are close to what you need (shopping, dining, and the water) in the Ozarks. The room was clean. It had a small refrigerator, a small coffee pot, and a safe. I wish it would of had a microwave. We did take advantage of the pool and the free (weekend) breakfast!! The staff was very nice and helpful.

GGastnutzerFinding and getting into the motel is fairly easy as it is on Hwy 76. The main lobby is very clean and welcoming as are the staff. I did note that they had a No vacancy sign taped to the door, so that let me know they were a popular spot on the strip. We got there a little early, and there wasnt a guarantee that our room would be ready but the lady was very nice and was able to get us in without an issue. Process was quick and easy and we were assigned room 1121, ground floor, furthest away from the main road, on the backside of the building. We parked, used the key easily (just tap and go), and walked in. The smell made it obvious to us that there had been a major flood or leak because it reeked of attempts to cover the smell of mold and mildew. We could see water damage everywhere and even the sheets on the bed were damp due to excessive moisture in the air. We have worked restoration from flooding and could distinctly smell something reminiscent of an ozone machine. The air unit was black and broken in pieces, but it still worked, for which we were grateful. The carpets were dirty and in a serious need to be cleaned although by the door had the worst of it. The silicone in the bathroom is seriously moldy and, at best, needs to be replaced and at worst scrubbed with a mildew cleaner like Lysol mold and mildew. The in room fridge had serious condensation on the inside so we figured that it had been giving them issues. It wasn't until the next morning that we noticed the patch job in the ceiling over by the door that it occurred to us that that is the bathroom of the floor above us and that there was a major leak that way. Overall, I have paid less for better rooms and if there had been an option, I would have asked for a different room. If not for the fact that we knew we would not be getting a refund, we probably would have left and went somewhere else. The staff were wonderful to interact with, but the room itself was not worth the visit. Its a flip coin or maybe a desperate act that will get us to book there again. Oh! Major gap in the door and the glass in the window to the room was cracked! Shower head was gross and growing stuff too.

GGastnutzerNot a good experience at all. The physical appearance of the exterior of the facility looked inviting. Could barely understand the guy at the front desk due to a language barrier. Got to our room and it reeked immensely of a pine scent that I guess they sprayed all over the carpet because I couldn’t find a room deodorizer of any kind in the room. Couldn’t open the window as it was not made to be opened. Cranked the fan on the AC unit just to get some air movement as our eyes and throats were burning . Thought about asking for a different room but I’m sure it would have smelled the same way, as the hallways also smelled of the same strong fragrance. The bed was hard as a rock and we both tossed and turned most of the night just to wake up to a back ache. Sheets didn’t smell very clean either. Breakfast was okay but the coffee was very weak. Here’s a pic of how dirty the bathroom light switch was. Disgusting… I don’t know how this place had such high ratings before I booked the room. I’m kicking myself in the a$$ now for what I paid and we went through. Avoid at all costs…

GGuest UserMein Auto fiel, so habe ich für zwei Nächte ein Königszimmer gebucht. Das Hotel ist direkt von I-70 und war Präfekt für wo mein Auto arbeitete, so war die Lage ziemlich gut. Es gab ein paar Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe, aber es könnte manchmal laut sein. Ich war enttäuscht beim Service, da das erste, was sie beantragten, war $20 Einlagen und später wurde ich beschuldigt, in meinem Zimmer zu rauchen, als ich nicht raucher bin. Die Einrichtungen waren ok, die Reinigung war übergeben und ich konnte das Zimmer mit Essen bestellen. Das Büro bietet saubere Handtücher/wenige Ausstattung, wenn es nötig ist. Es ist ein guter Ort, wenn Sie für die Nacht auf der Suche nach einem Bett und Toilette, aber für Familien, die mehr suchen, würde ich nicht empfehlen.

GGastnutzerLook, for the price it is probably better than most. The nonexistent staff was the biggest disappointment. Took me almost an hour to wake someone from their slumber (4:30-5:30 pm) to check me in. I had to be somewhere at 6:00 pm so this was very frustrating. Btw, ringing the bell does absolutely nothing.  Outside of that the room seemed clean and modernized but the heater did nothing so I froze through the night.  The breakfast, I'd say stick to the waffles. I'm glad they offered eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy but the eggs were watery and I didn't trust the gravy. Sausage was ok.  The gym is a joke. I spent most of my time trying to fix the cables on their Smith Machine that's shoehorned into the corner of a very small room. Then I did some free weights but I had to do all exercises while sitting down because I kept hitting the ceiling with shoulder presses and over the head tricep extensions. lol.  They're trying, kind of like the little engine that could. Like I said, for $65 it's probably your best option.

TToniCheck-in was great, room appeared clean upon arrival but when you take off your shoes it was bad. House keeping comes very early in the morning and leave at lunch so those of us who work late at night don't get the luxury of a made bed, fresh sheets or, clean towels.
