Amazing hosts, they kind, friendly and helpful! Hotel located in the beautiful place close to our geological sites, not far from a city centre. Rooms are very nice and clean. Coca leaves and coca leaves are offered to help with altitude. Hotel provides very delicious breakfast and snacks if you are leaving hotel early in the morning for excursions. If we’re back to Cusco we definitely want to book this place again! We highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

Room was very clean and comfortable. The employees were lovely and extremely helpful. To access the room we had to climb up fire escape type steps (the staff kindly helped us with our bags). The only major issue was the shower. When we went to shower, the handles shocked us. We tried to use a towel to turn the water on and off and the shocks went through the towel. The breakfast was very good … eggs!

The friendliest and most helpful receptionist that I've ever met works at Bear Packer in Cuzco, and his name is Bruno. Gracias por todo!! Apart from that, Bear Packer has free breakfast, free storage, free wifi, nice beds, a good location in Cuzco and beautiful murals all over the hostel. If I can wish something for my future visits, it would be a more sturdy system around the locking of the storage boxes (not the padlock itself, but the metal / wood that I attach the padlock to, to be more trustworthy). Sayacmarca Inn was an absolute Gem for its price-point. I stayed here for two nights on a trip to visit Machu Pichu. One of the best parts of this place is its location. It is pretty centrally located in Aguas Calientes; only a short 100 m walk to the city plaza. As well as directly next to the bus station to Machu Pichu (the que for the bus is literally right outside). Close by is the Artesenal Market and Train station as well. Good for shopping for souvenirs and artesenal goods (alpaca scarves/sweaters, jewelry, stones, etc). All around this location are plenty of good restaurants and shops to eat/dine at. If you want a relaxing evening after a long day of travel or coming down from Machu Pichu I highly recommend a walk up to the hot springs (Aguas Calientes). The walk is only about 400 m away and worth it! Hotel room was very comfortable and homey with views of the river. Also very relaxing/soothing to sleep with the sounds of the river! Noted only downside is there wasnt a turn down service for fresh sheets or towells after each night. But if you ask for them they will get you some. This place comes with a complimentary breakfast with a pretty good spread from fresh tropical fruit, baked bread , yogurt, fresh squeezed juice, and some delicious scrambled eggs! Last the staff were very helpful and kind; even with the language barrier they were able to answer my questions and point me in the right direction for good shopping and places to eat (the locals inside view). Overall I would stay here again. Exceptional place for this pricepoint!!

Wonderful staff, excellent location for exploring Cusco, comfortable and clean room, very helpful luggage storage. Special thanks to Suly, Kenia, Ruth, Sari, the cleaning crew and cooks. Bright and airy roof terrace for breakfast. Wifi was weak in our ground-floor room, but strong in the common areas. They even made me a surprise cake on my birthday and sang to me in English, Spanish, and Quechua. I suggest you bring earplugs no matter where you stay in Cusco, as it is very common for tourists to be shuffling through the hallways as they leave for their adventures at 4:00am.

Sehr gutes Wohnerlebnis. Vor allem die Lage ist sehr praktisch. Es dauert nur zehn Minuten, um zum Sonnentempel zu laufen, ohne sich umzudrehen. Die Fassade ist gewöhnlich, aber die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, mit separaten Bädern, ähnlich dem Design von Jugendherbergen, was das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis recht hoch macht. Vor allem das heiße Wasser ist sehr gut. Es ist zu bequem, nach einem Spieltag zu duschen. Leider gibt es kein Sofa im Zimmer. Der Eigentümer möchte vielleicht im Gemeinschaftsraum im ersten Stock miteinander plaudern. Besonders erwähnenswert ist, dass der Besitzer und seine Frau sehr nett, warmherzig und rücksichtsvoll sind und sich sowohl auf Englisch als auch auf Spanisch verständigen. Ich bin sehr erleichtert und fühle mich wohl, dort zu leben. Reines Handspiel, Fünf-Sterne-Empfehlung

Think of the furthest from train station, bus to machu picchu and restaurants, there is this hotel. However the service is really nice and the room is real clean. They cook me this breakfast. i love it apart from the location.
