4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties. Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Green Core war von Anfang bis Ende absolut außergewöhnlich! Wenn Sie mit einer Familie reisen, kann ich dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Deshalb haben wir es so sehr geliebt: - Unglaublich Kinderfreundlich: Reisen mit jungen Kindern (ein 7-year-old und ein 3-year-old) kann schwierig sein, aber dieses Hotel hat alles so glatt und entspannt für uns gemacht. Die Atmosphäre ist warm, willkommen und sie verstehen wirklich, wie Familien zu beherbergen. - Unspotlessly Clean: Cleanliness ist immer meine oberste Priorität, und dieser Ort übersteigt alle Erwartungen. Die Zimmer und die gemeinsamen Räume wurden perfekt gepflegt und unverschämt, was mir einen solchen Frieden gab. -Fallless Experience: Literalmente alles war gut. Der Service, der Komfort, die Aufmerksamkeit auf Details, alles war einfach perfekt und gut gedacht. Wir hatten hier eine wunderbare Zeit und es machte unsere Reise so viel einfacher und angenehmer. Eine wahre Erfahrung 10/10, wir werden sicherlich zurück sein!

Es ist ein kleines Hotel Nahe dem Bahnhof, bequem zu reisen, sauber, ok. Gastliches Personal, polit, sehr kleine Zimmer. Stellt immer noch das Schlüsselsystem Das Zimmer hält nicht sehr geräusch.

The hotel provided an exceptional experience during our week-long stay. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. The daily dinners were a delightful surprise, offering variety and quality. The room was clean, and the hot spring was relaxing. Everything we needed was readily available.

Great location in the middle of the main warehouse district and accessible by bus from the nearest train stations. Cozy room, clean and modern design and facilities. Shared bathrooms are also clean and well maintained. Food court on the first floor provided a quick and easy breakfast.

They are very close to restaurants , bars, parks and so many differnet shops and 2 minute walk to the train station and the breakfast buffet is so delicious.

I think this hotel is run by an elderly couple, and they were lovely. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The bathroom is quite compact, but it wasn’t a problem for me at all :)

Ich habe im Omiya Pioland Hotel übernachtet, um am nächsten Morgen den ersten Shinkansen zu nehmen. An der Rezeption gab es eine große Auswahl an Annehmlichkeiten, was sehr praktisch war, da man sich nehmen konnte, was man brauchte. Obwohl die Zimmer keine automatische Verriegelung haben, konnte man die Tür von innen fest abschließen, sodass ich mich sicher fühlte. Das Zimmer war sauber renoviert und wirkte sehr gepflegt, was den Aufenthalt angenehm machte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und mein Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Die Hotelumgebung liegt in der Nähe eines Vergnügungsviertels mit vielen Restaurants, sodass es kein Problem war, etwas zu essen zu finden. Das Hotel liegt auch in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Omiya und ist meiner Meinung nach sehr praktisch für eine Übernachtung vor der Fahrt mit dem ersten Shinkansen. Es ist auch empfehlenswert für Geschäftsreisen, Urlaube oder Übernachtungen vor Konzerten.

Das Zimmer ist etwas klein, das ist nicht normal für das japanische 🇯🇵 Hotel, aber das ist wirklich nichts, es ist im Grunde eine Lösung für Ihre Forderungen.
