Das Zimmer war bestens ausgestattet und liebevoll gestaltet. Die Bettwäsche war weich und bequem, die Matratze hatte genau den richtigen Härtegrad. Ich habe die ganze Nacht tief und fest geschlafen und bin ohne jegliche Rückenschmerzen aufgewacht. Die Klimaanlage heizte schnell auf. Die Sauberkeit war makellos; man spürte die hohen Hygienestandards des Gästehauses sofort beim Betreten. Der Eingangsbereich war blitzblank, und die Bettwäsche im Zimmer war strahlend weiß, geruchs- und fleckenfrei und fühlte sich weich und angenehm auf der Haut an. Die Waschtische, der Spiegel und die Fliesen im Badezimmer glänzten, die Toilette war gründlich gereinigt, und im Duschabfluss befand sich kein einziges Haar. Die Liebe zum Detail war wirklich bemerkenswert und sorgte für einen sehr komfortablen und erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Die idyllische Landschaft rund um das Hotel ist einfach fantastisch. Morgens mit meinem Partner spazieren zu gehen, die Luft ist so frisch. Es ist auch nicht weit von den Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt, man ist schnell dort. Es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe, das Essen ist lecker und die Preise sind sehr fair.

Brand new boutique gem in a prime location! I stumbled upon this absolute gem in Guilin! The hotel is located right along the road and is incredibly convenient—it's just a short walk to East-West Lane, nearby malls, and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. Since it seems to be a new hotel, everything is squeaky clean and the amenities are modern. The only minor thing I missed was having a table in the room, but the comfort and cleanliness more than made up for it. I still absolutely loved my stay! I won’t say more except: highly recommend!

The owner Mr Gu is the best. He was very hospitable and super helpful. He picked me up on his motorbike. If not for him, I would not have been able to find the hotel  which is in a small alley that is big enough for one motorcycle to pass through. I use Maps.me, Baidu map, Amap and Google Map and none of these would be able to help me.  He carried my luggage on his shoulder inside of roll it so the action of pulling it on these uneven slabs of stones wouldn’t ruin the wheels . On the day of departure he again carried my luggage to the side of the road to wait for my ride. Mr. Gu service was really one of the best on this trip. The location of this hotel is very convenient. It is inside the ancient town and yet because it is inside an alley, it was very quiet. Also it is only less than 5 minutes away from the main road where you can find all kinds of restaurants, pastry shops, pharmacies etc. You can also  eat inside the ancient town as well. The decoration is very appealing. It is pleasing to the eyes . The lighting is brighter enough to read and there are switches bedside where you can turn off the light. The shower is separated from the toilet so that area remained mostly dried ( there was a leak and I could see water coming from the shower stall into the toilet area and it was ok ) The only blemish and weakness , I would say is the room size. I stayed in 永安門. It is the one of the smallest room that I have ever stayed in in China. I understand there is little space inside the ancient town but notwithstanding, the original design could have made 3 rooms into 2 instead of 3 small rooms. The bed is big but there is little space to move around. There is a small desk. It would be quite cramped and even a bit claustrophobic for 2 normal size persons to be in the room. The bathroom has a small window that faces a wall 6 inches away.  The next room to the right opens up to some open space. By the bedside,there is another window but it opens to a hallway and there is window on the hallway. I have my curtain drawn for privacy although I didn’t hear anyone walked past my room being the next to the last room in the curve hallway.  I saw the hotel from the outside and it appears that many rooms face an open field but I was unlucky enough to be given a room that is maybe THE shittiest. If I was shown two different rooms I wouldn’t have picked that one.  I wouldn’t mind paying more to see the sun.  I examined the hotel pictures carefully and there was no way that I knew before I reserved that one window faces a hallway and the other faces a wall.    This hotel is perfectly fine but you have to request a room that has window not facing a hallway and a wall. Some people don’t mind but for me it was paramount.  I supposed if you want more space, you have to pay more or live outside of the ancient town. There are many but there is trade off , of course.  Mr. Gu has a Corgi , a very cute dog with short legs but an enormous rotund body. He was very friendly and allowed me to pat him. 

I stayed at this hostel and had a truly wonderful experience. The accommodation is located on the 24th floor of a skyscraper in a very convenient and well-connected area. The apartment is extremely clean and well maintained, with the added bonus of a free-to-use washing machine, which is very helpful while traveling. Xiu Xiu, the girl who manages the place, is incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything needed. She was so lovely that we even went out for lunch together, and I really enjoyed chatting with her. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Ich hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt hier. Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen. Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und hilft gerne weiter! Auch das Personal ist großartig. Ich kam mit dem Boot in Yangshuo an und konnte aus unerfindlichen Gründen kein Taxi bekommen, vielleicht wegen Straßenarbeiten oder viel Betrieb zu dieser Tageszeit. Deshalb nahm ich schnell Kontakt mit ihnen auf und fragte, ob es eine andere Möglichkeit gäbe, dorthin zu gelangen, da ich kein Taxi bekommen konnte, und bekam sofort die Antwort, dass der Chef mich abholen würde, und innerhalb von 5 Minuten war der Besitzer da und holte mich von meinem Standort ab. Die Privatunterkunft liegt ganz in der Nähe des Yulong-Flusses. Fahrräder und Elektroroller können zu erschwinglichen Preisen gemietet werden und es gibt eine schöne Fahrt entlang des Flusses. Auch Bambus-Rafting ist in der Nähe. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und kenntnisreich und gab mir schnell Empfehlungen und Vorschläge für die besten Aktivitäten in der Nähe und wie ich dorthin komme. An meinem letzten Tag nahm mich der Besitzer auch mit zum Shuttlebus nach Longji und verweigerte mir, ein Didi zu nehmen! Sehr gastfreundlich, nett und voller Energie. Das Zimmer war geräumiger als erwartet. Es war groß, sauber und hatte eine tolle Aussicht! Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert und ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. 😌

Es war ein wirklich perfekter Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft war nicht nur komfortabel, sondern die Besitzer waren auch unglaublich gastfreundlich und haben mich sogar zum Tee eingeladen. Das Essen war ebenfalls fantastisch, besonders der Bierfisch. Morgens konnte man von der Aussichtsplattform den Sonnenaufgang und abends den Sonnenuntergang genießen, und die Reisterrassen waren vom Zimmer aus sichtbar – einfach perfekt. Allerdings ist die Anreise zu den Reisterrassen von Longji nicht ganz einfach, daher empfiehlt es sich, die Reise im Voraus zu planen.

The view from the ”Premium Double Room” is fake - the hotel admitted to adding the karst mountains during ”post-production”. Do not book the room if you want dual aspect views onto the famous karst mountains (one side of the room faces some mountains (good view), but the other side faces some buildings). When we raised their falsification on the advertisement with the reception they admitted to faking the views, and we were able to negotiate electric bike rental as compensation. However, overall the hotel is good. 20 minute walk into city centre, clean, friendly staff, and a decent view (even if not as advertised) from some rooms. Good for the price! I wouldn't normally comment on this, but given the other issues we faced it seems that this hotel manager is as opportunistic as possible to exploit and sort change guests. When we arrived, we were given a downgraded room (i.e. facing a concrete wall). When we raised it was the downgraded one we asked for the room we had booked (double aspect windows with the view of the mountains). She was able to give us that room, but as I already explained the photograph of the room advertised contains fake imagery to deceive guests. I hope they change this in the future so that other guests are not deceived like us. Regarding the compensation for staying in the hotel despite the false advertising, we had negotiated free electric bike rental for one and a half days, and a ¥20 discount to be collected at the end. (They only accepted after I threatened to write an honest review and complain to Trip.com). Unfortunately, on the last day they didn't let us use the e-bike because it was drizzling (only in the morning, it was a bright sunny day for the rest of the day), and then they refused to refund the ¥20 as agreed on the basis that we'd used the e-bikes for half a day (the previous afternoon). (I have written evidence (via my translation app history) of all of this should the hotel respond and say that I'm not telling the truth). I am sharing a REAL photo of the room so future guests are aware of the view. I recommend that the hotel improves the honesty of their advertising.

Sehr sauber, komfortabel, der Boss ist auch gut, die Umgebung ist gut, es lohnt sich zu empfehlen

Das Zimmer sieht etwas alt, aber sehr sauber, groß und komfortabel aus. Handtücher, Gummi-Schuhe, Zahnbürsten, Seife und Shampoo, Wasser, Teepott und Tassen sind vorhanden. Der Klimaanlage arbeitet mit viel Lärm, aber in diesem Jahr ist es überhaupt nicht erforderlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gleich. Ich würde in diesem Zimmer wieder bleiben. Danke.
