Echt geräumig und sehr sauber. Ich mag es, dass es eine Mikrowelle und in einem zentralen Teil der Stadt gelegen hat.

This hotel was built in 1885 with historical background according to the pictures on the wall. It would be more informative if there was a more thorough descriptions next to the pictures and become a museum like Inn. We stayed in the Superior King room with balcony, the river view was excellent. This little town is very tranquil with relaxing vibe. We loved to stay in the balcony, unfortunately, there is no any BBQ or stove for cooking here, or we would love to stay more days. There is also no sun umbrella or shaded place in the balcony, and it could be very bright and hot even during 11C in the summer. Our room is the closest to the car park, but we can’t access the stairs directly down to the car park. Instead, we had to detour in the hotel, walked the a few levels of stairs with passing two doors to the car park. There are more than a dozen of stairs in the hotel. Elderly and anyone with leg or back problems need to be aware of it. 
Our room has been renovated recently. Everything maintains in very good condition, besides of the air conditioning. The air conditioning system was connected to another three rooms in the same isle. If any of the room turns on the heater while everyone is using the cool mode, the air conditioning will be shown in error. Thanks for Meghan that she was willing to come back to the hotel for us in 5 mins even it was out of her work time. She has been very helpful and nice during our stay. She is the best front desk I have seen on this island. We were happy with our stay, even we noticed that the noisy music from the pub right under the hotel level not only on in the weekend until midnight. However, we felt that compressor next to us had been noisy all day. We only felt quiet after we turned off the bathroom ventilator, air conditioning and closed the window. There was also two washing machines and one dryer on site charging only CAD$2 for each laundry. I think this is the cheapest laundry service on the island. The last but not least is the bath towels. We can’t stand with it snowing with crushes. I would suggest people bringing their towels. And the water pressure was too weak like a garden pot watering.

Was in a convenient location and not far drive from North Mall or Downtown Nanaimo. Rooms were clean, and relatively quiet.

Für den Preis ist es sehr ausreichend. Viele Aspekte des Zimmers fühlten sich veraltet, aber es war alles voll funktionsfähig und sauber ohne Probleme. Ich persönlich bevorzuge es auf diese Weise, da Sie die Einsparungen und die Funktion, die wirklich wichtig ist. Das Personal war alles schön und ich liebe es, dass ich bei 2AM mit dem Personal zur Verfügung stehen, um mir zu helfen.

An dieser Kreuzung wimmelt es von Hotels, und auch die Straße zur U-Bahn-Station ist voll davon. Mehrere Hotels teilen sich den Shuttlebus, und das Logo dieses Hotels ist relativ klein. Ausstattung und Zimmeraufteilung entsprechen im Wesentlichen denen des Hyatt in Detroit, wo ich später übernachtet habe. Hinter dem Eingang befindet sich ein Flur, gefolgt von einem Badezimmer mit Badewanne, Garderobe, Wassertisch, einem Doppelbett, Fernseher, Tisch und Stühlen. Die Betten in Vancouver und Toronto sind sehr hoch, und die Matratzen sind sehr dick und weich. Die Fenster sind komplett geschlossen, was angesichts der nur vier oder fünf Stockwerke etwas unerträglich ist. Hinter dem Hotel befindet sich ein Park, der mich überrascht hat. Obwohl ich aus verschiedenen Gründen den Stanley Park und den Elizabeth Garden nicht besucht hatte, hat mich dieser kleine Park bereits wieder in Erinnerung gerufen. Es scheint, als hätte jeder Baum in einem Straßenpark die Dynamik und den Charme eines Nationalwalds. Vielleicht sind die natürlichen Ressourcen zu üppig. Die Blumenvielfalt ist hier besonders üppig und die Sträucher sind dicht bewachsen und übermannshoch. Westliches Frühstück, Jetlag lässt mich nicht schlafen, also ging ich um 7 Uhr hin, um den Ausländern beim Essen zuzusehen, und ging um 8 Uhr, als zu viele Leute da waren. Sie essen nicht, sie arbeiten, sie sind emotionslose Trockenreismaschinen, als würden sie zum Essen auftanken. Getränke: Kaffee, Toast, Muffins, Rinderhörner, Speck. Es gibt ein dickes Spiegelei, das hergestellt wird, indem man die Flüssigkeit eines ganzen Eis in eine große Pfanne gießt und sie anbrät, wenn sie leicht geformt ist. Es gibt vier oder fünf Sorten Müsli, die niemand isst, und daneben stehen eine große Flasche Milch und eine Mikrowelle.

It was a pretty good place to stay in downtown Vancouver. I chose this hostel because I had to wait for my next flight and didn’t have much time there, but I really appreciated the staff letting me check in early. I arrived about an hour before check-in time expecting to just wait, but my room was already ready and they let me in right away, which I was very grateful for because I was exhausted and really needed some sleep. I didn’t stay long, but during my time there everything was comfortable and I had a good experience overall.

Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt schön und es war eine gute Erfahrung, der Barbecue-Stoff war sehr gut und die Lage ist auch sehr bequem, aber der Luftwind war sehr schmutzig und hat einen schweren Rauchgerüch, der Außenpool war auch ziemlich schmutzig.

What a wonderful unique experience. The setting around the lake was beautiful. We appreciated that all rooms face the lake. We enjoyed the amenities, the restaurant and Games area. We would recommend that everyone take the time to tour Ghost Town....sharing the history of the area. It was incredible....loved the train museum! Had a great stay!

The first night of our stay was wonderful, until went down for the breakfast and the pancake machine did not work, is sprayed pancake mix all over the counter, and the remaining selection for the continental breakfast was VERY limited, the second night att about 1230 am a very large and loud group of guests entered the hotel, they were yelling and hollering and slamming door until 420 AM so needless to say no sleep that night, called desk staff at 1240 when it started and they said they would rectify the situation. Well that never happened!!! When I confronted the dssk staff about the issue in the morning, they said it was a large group of guests and there was nothing they could do about it. I said thatbis not right, there were many things they could have done of they chose to do what was required. They said they would have the manager call us and work out a compromise for the night that we endured. 5 days later and still no call!!! We have stayed here before and came back because it was a nice place, but the lack of concern for a dissatisfied customer has made me question any further stays at the Ramad chain of hotels. Our 2 bedroom suite has 3 stories. The entrance was on the 2nd floor, there were no elevators. On the second floor there were 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and laundry. Go up a flight of stairs there’s the living room, kitchen and dining area, and a powder room. The house was generally clean and tidy. But when we were about to go to sleep we saw a few strands of hair under the pillows and it was quite disturbing. We knew it was not our hair because we saw it just as we were going to bed and picked up the pillows to fluff them; no one had used the bed yet. We then opened the blanket to check and there was one strand of hair under the covers too. Management apologized for it and was sincere but that did not help with our experience. It was the hair under the pillows that made us feel that bedsheets were likely not changed. A few other things: Headrail of blind was loose and fell down when we opened the blind. In the kitchen cooking oil/condiments seemed to be provided, but was empty. Overall I would probably have rated this stay 4.5 stars if it wasn’t for the hair on the bedsheets. That made us all feel very uneasy
