Wir waren mit den Eltern für einen Venedig-Trip hier und haben in diesem Camp gewohnt. Die Erfahrung ist anders als in einem traditionellen Hotel. Man kann hier kochen, es gibt Kochgeschirr und Besteck, und Parkgebühren fallen keine an. Das Superior-Chalet bietet Platz für 5 Personen, mit zwei Schlafzimmern, die jeweils ein eigenes Bad haben – sehr praktisch. Beachten Sie, dass man an der Rezeption eine Nummer ziehen muss und dass der Herd mit einem Flammenwerfer (im Schrank zu finden) angezündet wird. Das Camp und die Chalets sind schon etwas älter, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich top.

We’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments around the world, from tiny rooms to beautiful villas, and this was honestly our first experience like this. We arrived around 2:30 PM, right after check-in time. There is no elevator, but that’s completely understandable for an old Venetian building. We carried our luggage to the third floor, and while my wife was speaking with the host, we suddenly found out that the bathroom was shared with another room. This was a huge surprise for us because on Trip.com the booking clearly mentioned private facilities in the room and a shower. Only later did we realize that the bathroom was actually outside the room and shared between two rooms, with separate keys for the wooden bathroom door. The bathroom itself was clean and decent, but for us this completely changed the experience. We have never stayed in a place with a shared bathroom before, and finding this out only at check-in was very disappointing. Another frustrating point was the check-out policy. Check-out was at 10:00 AM, which we already knew from the booking, but honestly this was only the second time in my life I’ve seen such an early check-out time — and I’ve probably booked more than 200 hotels. I think the only earlier one I ever had was 9:30 AM. I genuinely do not understand why there needs to be a 4-hour gap between check-out and check-in for cleaning a room that does not even have a private bathroom. On top of that, the host said it was impossible to leave luggage after check-out because she had “negative experiences” before. So after an already disappointing stay, this just added another layer of inconvenience. Other downsides: * terrible pillows — sleeping felt like your head was at a 90-degree angle; * extremely poor sound insulation, you can hear literally every movement from other guests; * in the shower there was nothing except hand soap near the sink — no shampoo, no conditioner, no basic amenities. Positive points: * very good location; * the room itself was clean; * coffee was available in the room. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation completely overshadowed all the positives for us. Because of that, I would rate this place 2/5.

Nice hotel in good location with access to nearby eurocamping site, which is useful for the sports, offsite bar (Pizza-Pub Due Ruote)on the way to the Campsite well worth a visit. Hotel pool is a welcome sight after a day wandering around the lake and enjoying the ferry. We would happily return 🫡

We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

Zum dritten Mal in diesem Hotel. Frühstück durchschnittlich, aber verbesserungswürdig. Zimmer in der ursprünglichen Struktur, schön, aber die Ausstattung muss renoviert werden, um den Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. Wie auch immer, die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, ruhig und der Preis, 4 Monate im Voraus gebucht , ausgezeichnet inklusive Frühstück.

For the accommodation, I paid a total of €199.13 through Trip.com. This consisted of €185.13 paid online in advance and an additional €14.00 paid locally. However, upon our arrival at the accommodation, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional €66.20. This additional charge was not clearly disclosed to me during the booking process on Trip.com. In particular, there was no clear indication that we would be required to pay an additional €66.20 upon arrival. I ultimately paid the €66.20, even though I did not agree with the additional charge. The reason was that we were already at the accommodation and needed somewhere to stay. I did not want to risk being denied access to the apartment and being left without accommodation. I also informed the host/property manager at the time that I would clarify the matter with Trip.com afterwards. I therefore request that you investigate this matter and provide a full refund of the additional €66.20, provided that this fee was not properly and transparently disclosed during the booking process. I would also like you to clarify: * Why was the €66.20 charge not clearly disclosed during the booking process? * What exactly was the €66.20 charge for? * Why was this amount only requested upon arrival? * Was this additional charge actually permitted under the terms agreed between Trip.com and the property? Please provide me with a written explanation and arrange a refund of €66.20. I would also like to make clear that I paid the additional amount solely because I was already at the property and did not want to risk being left without accommodation. My payment should therefore not be interpreted as acceptance that the charge was properly disclosed or valid under my original booking. Thank you for investigating this matter. We arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour. Kindest regards

Review of the hotel - firstly you can't find Pensione wildner on Google. If you find, it will come with a street in campa Salvador and that street has no hotel. That's where we ended up. If you search for wildner only(which we didn't, it only shows a restaurant). The hotel is dated however clean so can't fault that. The AC or heater in the room doesn't work, it works as a fan only which was terrible. We were in room 28 There is no lift in the hotel, wasn't an issue for us as we're only 2 floors up but I am sure it would be a concern for some. The location is excellent as it's right opposite the water taxi so easy for someone coming on the boat from the railway station or airport. City tax is only taken in cash and it's 7 Euros per night (perfectly fine as we had cash but be prepared in case you travel with card only) The worse part of the hotel was the restaurant. No smile from the person, it felt like a fast food place, they come and throw food on the table, Ask no questions. They apparently offer cappuccino but it was coffee with water (perhaps it was from a machine and not barista made). All you get for 2 X people is 2 X small buns and 2 plain croissant loaded with a load of sugar on the top and a boiled egg each. No option for scrambled egg or ask for anything that's freshly made. Canned fruits were provided in Day 1 and 3 - day 2 we were told no fruits. It's at the waterfront but majority of the rooms aren't waterfront. Correct location on Google maps, Working AC, quality breakfast and friendly service would have made it a 4-5 star review. The curtains in the room don't close fully so if you are tiny bit sensitive to light then you would hate being woken up between 5-7am each day on your holiday - this was the worst part
