Das Hotel ist im Camping-Stil gehalten und befindet sich südwestlich des Bahnhofs Mestre. Die Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ist nicht sehr gut; es gibt keine direkten Bus- oder Straßenbahnverbindungen, und der Bahnhof ist zudem recht weit entfernt. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind noch relativ neu. Die Unterkünfte ähneln Fertighütten, und beim Gehen knarrt der Boden.

We’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments around the world, from tiny rooms to beautiful villas, and this was honestly our first experience like this. We arrived around 2:30 PM, right after check-in time. There is no elevator, but that’s completely understandable for an old Venetian building. We carried our luggage to the third floor, and while my wife was speaking with the host, we suddenly found out that the bathroom was shared with another room. This was a huge surprise for us because on Trip.com the booking clearly mentioned private facilities in the room and a shower. Only later did we realize that the bathroom was actually outside the room and shared between two rooms, with separate keys for the wooden bathroom door. The bathroom itself was clean and decent, but for us this completely changed the experience. We have never stayed in a place with a shared bathroom before, and finding this out only at check-in was very disappointing. Another frustrating point was the check-out policy. Check-out was at 10:00 AM, which we already knew from the booking, but honestly this was only the second time in my life I’ve seen such an early check-out time — and I’ve probably booked more than 200 hotels. I think the only earlier one I ever had was 9:30 AM. I genuinely do not understand why there needs to be a 4-hour gap between check-out and check-in for cleaning a room that does not even have a private bathroom. On top of that, the host said it was impossible to leave luggage after check-out because she had “negative experiences” before. So after an already disappointing stay, this just added another layer of inconvenience. Other downsides: * terrible pillows — sleeping felt like your head was at a 90-degree angle; * extremely poor sound insulation, you can hear literally every movement from other guests; * in the shower there was nothing except hand soap near the sink — no shampoo, no conditioner, no basic amenities. Positive points: * very good location; * the room itself was clean; * coffee was available in the room. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation completely overshadowed all the positives for us. Because of that, I would rate this place 2/5.

Ich bestellte im Hotel eine Pizza und zwei Pastagerichte und wartete über eine Stunde, bis mir das falsche Gericht serviert wurde. Ich sagte dem Kellner mehrmals Bescheid, aber es half nichts. Ich drängte den Kellner, gegen 9 Uhr zu bestellen, und er sagte, die Küche sei geschlossen. Um 10:30 Uhr wurde das Essen noch nicht serviert. We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

We arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour. Kindest regards

Our final stay in Venice! Good concierge, really friendly. Location wise also very good and central. Just light walking distance to the basilica and you can see dorsoduro side from here. Room was quite small but ok for a one night stay. Breakfast was quite limited but sufficient and since there was nobody it was only us in the cafe. Good shower. The only downside I can think of is there is no lift/no elevator. So if you have big luggages, be prepared to do some weight lifting even more so if you’re on the higher floors because the stairway is narrow and have many turns. Lucky for me I have my partner.

Mein Flug war am Morgen von MXP, so dass ich das Hotel um 4 Uhr verließ. Ich fragte den Front Desk mindestens 5 Mal, wo der Fähre ist und Zeittafel, die Lorenzo mir sehr genau antwortete und druckte den Zeittafel, zeigte den Station auf der Karte für mich. Aber der Bahnhof, den er mir gab, war falsch ( ich kam 10 Minuten zuvor ), so dass ich den Fähren um 4:21 verpasste.....da war absolut niemand irgendwo in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, so dass ich verzweifelt mit meinen Gepäck zurück ins Hotel gefahren, Wo es einen älteren Mann im Frontdesk sagte es ist die nächste Station nach dem einen Lorenzo gab mir, was bedeutet eine weitere Brücke. Aber ich fragte diesen älteren Mann, bevor ich das Hotel um 4 Uhr verließ und er war sehr sicher. Als ich ihn zweimal zweifelte, sagte er: „Sie können überall, wo Sie wollen!“ Es gab keine Empathie, als ob es nichts von ihrem Geschäftsbereich ist! Zweites Mal habe ich auf die richtige Station gehurtig gefahren und nahm die Fähre um 4:55 und ich verpasste den Zug nach Mailand! Ein anderes italo Ticket kaufen war kein Problem, aber es geht um Leben und Limb! Ich hoffe nur, dass der Front Desk könnte professioneller n wirklich sorgfältig prüfen, wenn sie einen Vorschlag geben. Ich würde meinen Flug definitiv verpassen, wenn es kein Italo-Fastzug gab, plus ich nahm einen Taxi direkt nach meiner Ankunft in Milano Mitte, um es zu machen! Das Zimmer war klein, konnte nicht große Gepäck öffnen, aber es war sauber, die Reinigungsfrau verdient einen großen Tipp! Ich mag sie mit Wasser und Slips. Die Aussicht aus meinem Zimmer ist authentisch. Das Hotel ist bequem, wenn u r um den San Marco Platz oder Sie immer zu Bad gehen müssen. Wenn Sie sich mit dem Nachtschiffe nach Santa Lucia Bahnhof Ferrovia nehmen, erinnern Sie sich daran, dass Sie auf der rechten END-Station von San Marco sind, es ist eine andere Brücke Sie zu überqueren.

La ubicación es ideal, se llega rápido caminando desde el bus del aeropuerto y a todos lados caminando. Hay bares alrededor y es una zona tranquila. Lo que podría mejorar son las instrucciones del check-in, ya que les contacté con bastante anticipación por la app para hacer el check-in y aún así tuve problemas al llegar. Lo bueno es que responden y solucionan rápido, debo destacar eso. La vista desde nuestra habitación era preciosa, daba a un pequeño patio. Recomiendo sin dudas
