3-Sterne-Hotels in Nordöstliche Region, Island

We had an enjoyable 1 night stay in the newly renovated boutique wing, which we requested for. The hotel was in the midst of transformation so we expected hiccups but there were none. Our room was compact but newly furnished with a very comfy bed and stylish amenities like a large Samsung TV, coffee machine, Marshall speakers and L'Occitane toiletries. We were hoping for a city/fjord view instead of the hill fortifications out back. Still, we enjoyed the new hotel facade, plush lobby cocktail lounge vibes and ease of free parking out front. Breakfast requires one to walk out to the next building annex but the hall had roomy seating and plenty of options for a nice Scandi breakfast. The airport is a 5-min drive away, the city centre and waterfront all 5 minutes away on foot. A nicely updated base for Akureykri and North Iceland.

This hotel did a great job overall! The location is perfect — 5/5, couldn’t ask for better. Cleanliness, service, and facilities all scored 4/5, which means there's still a bit of room for improvement, but nothing major. It’s a solid choice for a family trip — comfortable, convenient, and reliable. A few more thoughtful touches would make it exceptional! 👍

Our lake-view ensuite mini-cabin was great for our 1 night stay at Myvatn, with sufficient parking space, clean geothermal shower and use of shared kitchen and lounge (even common BBQ grill) attached to our 4 mini-cabin cluster. We only wished there is a dustbin in our room (not just the toilet bin). Loved its quiet lakefront location with the Dimmuborgir lava fields and Hverfell crater just behind it. Continental breakfast spread was great with local specialities and waffles. Tip: Walk along the lake path outside the guesthouse at sunset. Myvatn nature baths are also less than 5-min drive away. There are plenty of midges in summer and while they were a minor bother and do not bite, just remember not to open the windows without the blinds in the warmer afternoons or evenings.

Bei Ankunft in der Wohnung ist die Rezeption nicht mehr mit Personal ausgestattet. Auf der Tür ist eine Telefonnummer angebracht, wo Sie die Wohnung erreichen können. Die Person auf der anderen Seite des Telefons fragt uns zuerst, warum wir den Code nicht verwenden, den wir per E-Mail erhalten hätten. Checked E-Mail Account - erwähnt E-Mail fehlen. Nach der Wohnung würde dies zwei Tage im Voraus versendet werden. Da wir nicht zwei Tage im Voraus gebucht hatten - unmöglich. Also jetzt telefonisch angemeldet, alles ok. Zu dem ersten wirklichen Punkt der Kritik. Wenn Sie die Zimmertür öffnen, schlägt Ihnen ein starker Geruch, der versucht, den Badgeruch zu bedecken - lange Luft mit einem breiten offenen Fenster schafft einige Erleichterung. Beim Überprüfen des Betts finden Sie rote, braune Farben auf dem Bettdeckel - sehr unattraktiv. Wir waren in Zimmer 25. Die Lage ist leider ungünstig. Das Zimmer erhält die vollen Straßenlärm. Jetzt zum größten Punkt unserer Kritik: von etwa 00:30am bis nach 02:00am, eine asiatische Tour-Gruppe hat sich nachts in Tag wandelt! Das Hotel kann nicht für menschliche Dummheit und antisoziales Verhalten wie Türschlämmern, Lautsprechern und Lächeln in den Korridoren verantwortlich gemacht werden. Das kann leider jederzeit und überall passieren, aber eine Eingangstür, die so laut in den Schließfach schläft, dass jeder im Hotel es hören muss und Sie stets aus Ihrem Schlaf verblüfft, ist einfach nicht hinnehmbar. Schließlich, aber nicht zuletzt, die Tourgruppe hatte ihre Party beendet - danke Gnade, und Sie dachte, Frieden würde sich in, der kleine Kühlschrank in dem Zimmer begann. Humming laut, es würde Sie nicht für eine weitere wahrgenommene Ewigkeit schlafen lassen. Insgesamt war dies leider die schlimmste und am meisten nervöse Unterkunft unserer 15-day Island Tour bisher. Wir können diese Wohnung nicht empfehlen, und wir würden nicht wiederkommen.

A great stay in the farm house. We stayed there for two nights. It was only 5km away from husavik where we joined the whale watching tour. We had our breakfast at 8am and managed to arrive the whale watching centre at 9:05am. The view from the farm house was really nice (the sea and the snow mountains). Staff was nice. We could use the kitchen for lunch and dinner. They’ve got utensils and pots and bowls. And microwave and oven. Basically everything you need. The dog was cute. We also joined an icelandic horse riding session there. It was amazing. The girl was friendly,experienced and helpful. Breakfast was simple and the croissant was delicious. Room was much better then we expected. More and less like a hotel room. We enjoyed staying there very much.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at K16 Apartment in the heart of Akureyri, and I was thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment itself was spacious and cozy, providing a welcoming atmosphere. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, which had a complete set of cooking tools, making it easy to prepare meals during my stay. The check-in process was hassle-free, using a convenient PIN system. Overall, K16 Apartment offered a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Akureyri!

Ich habe für eine Nacht im Myvatn - Berjaya Island Hotels geblieben und eine wunderschöne Erfahrung gemacht. Das Außen des Hotels ist schön gestaltet und mit der Umgebung vermischt gut. Das Frühstück war lecker, mit einer Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten, den Tag richtig zu starten. Insgesamt hatte ich einen positiven Aufenthalt und würde es jedem, der das Gebiet besucht, empfehlen.

Was frustrated and felt cheated on when I saw on booking for the whole summer a price per night of 250/330 € when I paid almost 400usd for each night via booking Because I booked a few months back ? I never faced such difference Was it trip.com taking a huge margin ? First time I use trip, a really bad experience Guesthouse is nice but it’s close to a hostel, simple and shared toilets/ahowers, a few chairs to sit in the kitchen. For that price it’s just out of range

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Goðafossjust ein 2-minute Fuß vom Wasserfall, was absolut atemberaubend war. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich hilfreich und freundlich, aus dem Weg, um die Wettervorhersage für uns zu überprüfen und uns sogar die beste Zeit zu sehen, die Nordlichter zu sehen. Ihre Gastfreundschaft machte unsere Reise noch erinnerelicher. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore this magical part of Iceland!

숙소는 후사비크의 항구 바로 앞에 있으며 고즈넉하고 조용한 곳에 있습니다. 우리가 도착했을 당시 호텔은 무인으로 운영되었지만 안내데스크에 우리를 위한 메시지와 더불어 열쇠가 준비되어 있어 바로 방으로 들어갈 수 있었어요. 방은 따뜻했으며 침대와 작은 테이블, 옷장이 존재하는 심플한 구조 입니다. 음료나 스키르를 보관할 조그마한 냉장고가 있었더라면 더욱 좋았겠지만 겨울이라 사실 크게 상관 없었습니다. 조그마한 문제는 함께 묶은 다른 객실의 고객들에게 있었습니다. 그들은 새벽까지 술을 마시며 크게 떠들며 놀았고 그로 인해 우리 부부는 휴식을 취하는 것에 있어 조금 문제를 겪었어요. 일정 시간이 넘어가면 다른 승객을 위해 조용히 해줄 것을 안내하는 방법이 호텔 곳곳에 마련되어있으면 좋을 것 같아요. 그래도 대체적으로 좋았습니다. 다음에는 여름에 방문해보고 싶어요.
