We are really disappointed that there was only 1 toilet for the apartment booked and nothing can be fixed . refunding EUR 70.00 is not what we are expecting, we would rather have a better experience. Excellent budget hotel. Good location couple of things to note probably @ Trip.com fault not hotel Your booking doesn’t guarantee “free parking” you only get that if booking direct. Trip falsely advertise free parking. Also there was a surcharge to pay at check in approx 800 krona again trip won’t disclose this. For these reasons I avoided booking through trip my next booking. Hotel was excellent and good fresh breakfast.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, die Einrichtungen sind komplett, es gibt Kühlschrank, Essmittel und Waschbecken, sauber. Der Aufenthalt ist großartig, komfortabel und mag auch diese einige nordeuropäischen Dekorationen.

Die Bestätigungsmail vom Hotel kam super schnell, die Wegbeschreibung und Empfehlungen waren klar und verständlich. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und hatte ein riesiges Badezimmer. Momentan finden Renovierungsarbeiten im Hotel statt, aber nachts ist es dort sehr ruhig.

Der Standort ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln leicht zu erreichen. Es handelt sich um ein Selbstbedienungshotel, Gäste müssen sich also unbedingt melden, wenn sie keine Anweisungen zum Einchecken erhalten haben. Es gibt Personal im Hotel und auf Abruf, das sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ist, wenn Routineprobleme auftreten. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstücksbuffet ist bemerkenswert!!!

Ein durchwachsener Eindruck! Einerseits ist alles neu und sauber, und die Lage ist einfach fantastisch. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das sind die positiven Aspekte. Negativ ist, dass mir die Einrichtungen dort nicht wirklich erklärt wurden – zum Beispiel die Armbänder und wie man damit bezahlen kann. Sie sind mit „Guthaben“ aufgeladen, von dem ich fälschlicherweise annahm, dass man damit Tee und Kaffee kaufen kann, aber man muss dafür bezahlen. Der Automat funktionierte nicht, und mir wurden etwa fünf Getränke berechnet, die ich nie getrunken hatte. Da ich es beim Auschecken eilig hatte, musste ich es dabei belassen. Mir wurde auch nicht erklärt, wie man zum Whirlpool auf dem Dach kommt, daher konnte ich ihn leider nicht nutzen. Die Bettwäsche war bei meiner Ankunft fleckig. Seltsamerweise sagte mir ein Mitarbeiter, dass sie die Laken nicht wechseln dürften. Also bekam ich frische Laken und musste das Bett in einem winzigen Raum mühsam beziehen – nicht gerade ideal. Der einzige Föhn in den Badezimmern funktionierte auch nicht richtig, daher die niedrige Bewertung des Service.

A good little hostel with the front staff being very friendly. This hostel is not at BSI bus station which is where fly bus airport transfers arrive and depart. It is a 15 minute walk from BSI bus station, but there are many tour buses that stop here. The kitchen and bathrooms were always very clean and you could see someone always mopping or cleaning. The room was very hot so pack light Pyjamas. Also there are no women only dorms!!! I thought I was booking a women only dormitory but men were in there too. One man had booked a man only dorm but obviously they don't have this either. The website and the trip.com descriptions clearly need udpating.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, es gibt Parkplätze und man kann auch abends bequem zur Kirche laufen. Das Frühstück ist durchschnittlich, aber für den Check-in an der Rezeption ist eine Kreditkarte erforderlich, was etwas inakzeptabel ist. Außerdem ist das Badezimmer klein und es ist schwierig, den Koffer auszuklappen. Beim Duschen im Badezimmer fließt das Wasser nach draußen, was sich recht einfach anfühlt. Die Unterkunftsbedingungen in Island sind in der Tat durchschnittlich.

In der Nähe der Hauptbahnhof BSI (Flughafenbuss fallen) ca. 10-15min Spaziergang. Selbst-Check-in ist möglich, wenn Sie spät am Abend ankommen. Sie werden die Passcodes für den Eingang zum Gebäude und auch zu den Zimmern gegeben. Sie müssen nur mit ihnen in Verbindung treten. Was mein Zimmer betrifft, so blieb ich in einem einzigen Bett. Es ist klein, aber alles gut. Es hat seinen eigenen Sänk, der für die Hautpflege ziemlich nützlich ist. Es hat auch ein Kabinett und einen Tisch und seinen eigenen Raumheizer. Toilette und Dusche sind gerade außerhalb des Zimmers. Jede Etage hat meine eigene T&B. Zweite Etage hat die Küche und Essensbereich. Sie können hier kochen oder Ihre eigene Küche zubereiten. Sie bieten Frühstück für 7Euros. Ich habe das nicht versucht. Kaffee und Tee sind jeden Tag kostenlos. Der nächste Gemüsegeschäft ist ein wenig von einem Spaziergang, etwa 10-15mins oder 950m entfernt. Auch, gleich für die Restaurants. Insgesamt ist dies sehr gut für Geld. Es ist billig für Island Standards. Ich blieb drei Nächte lang und hatte keine Beschwerden.

Maybe it is my fault for expecting hotels in Iceland to have little to no, if not relatively poor service as a whole, but my booking issues with them, the communication leading up to the stay and overall interaction with staff was next to none, Save for the on-site staff that I got to bump into, it's pretty much non-existent. The Booking itself, alongside a mistake with the app, and the hotel refusing to offer direct communication, and lying throughout the whole ordeal when it came to ”calling back” was literal hell. That being said the say was, fine? It's a place to rest, that's all I can say. The breakfast was definitely pathetic, but like the first statement it might've been my fault for expecting something substantial,. Definitely don't get the breakfast, don't use the hot coffee/cocoa machine since it's broken or unfilled half the time. Seek out amenities at the grocery stores nearby instead.
