Sehr enttäuscht, unser Zimmer brauchte Wartung, Möbel und Dekoration. Zum Beispiel fehlte der Tauchschrank einen Plug, keine Ausstattung, um Handtücher zu hängen, Bademöbel wurden schwer von Dampf zum Punkt der Drehung beeinflusst. Die Farbe hatte die Wände abgeschrägt, gemalte Türen und Schrauben erschien scharf. Es gab keinen Ort, um unsere Gepäck zu lagern, die Möbel waren in schlechtem Zustand. Das Zimmer war von guter Größe mit hohen Decken und einem Sofa, komfortable Betten mit guter sauberer Linen. Guter Größe Pool, aber der Jacuzzi fehlte an Kraft.

When you book country pub/hotels you don't expect 5* service, you expect to experience local life. In the pub there was a definite abundance of that, and we had a lot of fun. The food was not bad and the cask ale excellent. The room was small but ensuite and clean. The issue for me was the heat. Even though the weather was cold n damp the room was boiling hot - in part due to underfloor pipes. I had to open the window and try and lean against the wall to keep cool. I went for breakfast early leaving my partner to sleep. The breakfast was a cold buffet ( cooked breakfast weekends only) and was perfectly fine. The lady on breakfast duty chatted away constantly pushing for me to drag my partner downstairs. We were the only residents so I didn't see the urgency. After breakfast the same lady was knocking on the room door to tell us we should have vacated the room by 10. How early is that! The result being we had to pay £25 as a late checkout fee. Leaving is with the feeling that we weren't guests just an inconvenience.

It was a very pleasant hotel, nice and quiet when I visited but it is the beginning of the year, didn't see anyone after checking in, amenities were nice and the room was very comfortable and clean. Location is not too far from Brecon, but best drive as it's around 12 miles. Breakfast was good, just help yourself to bits that are there. I would visit again.

Arrived a little late but everything was prepared waiting for us. The room was small but well-equipped and clean. The bar staff in the evening were good but closed very much at 11. Breakfast was freshly prepared and hot. The hotel is right in the centre of town so a great base for a wander around.

Ein sehr charakteristisches und charmantes B&B, mit einem warmen Willkommen, ausgezeichnetes Essen und großem lokalen Ales. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und hatte alles, was ich für meinen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt hatte.

Very nice hotel in a historical building in the center of town. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Nice hotel in einer schönen Lage Geschmackvolles Essen in der Bar und ein anständiges Frühstück.
