3-Sterne-Hotels in Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Dies ist ein ziemlich standard alle inklusive. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und Eigentum war schön. Essen war auch gut. Perfekt für einen 1-2 Nachtaufenthalt. Zimmer brauchen Renovierung an diesem Punkt. Ich empfehle noch immer, dass jemand nach einem vernünftigen Preis alle inklusive sucht.

We stayed there for a night and had great time. We typically don't spend much time in our hotel and this was no exception. However, the beds were good and the room was clean. Great balcony with an amazing view. Sure the TV was ancient but who cares! The complimentary welcome drinks don't include any alcohol but the juice was great and we thought the food was fine and we enjoyed it. It is a climb if getting there by foot. We drove so that was not a problem. One thing that I will say is that it was very, very windy up there. The wind was whipping at our balcony door all night and I was waiting for it to shatter. It did not happen of course but it did keep me up since I am a light sleeper-- everybody else slept fine. They even liked the sound of the wind whipping away at the room. In addition to the balcony in our room, which is big enough for yoga, etc, there is a communal balcony as well, where you one can do yoga, enjoy the view, or hang out and talk to others in the sun. Overall, our stay was excellent and we enjoyed it. While there we did the night tour, zipline, and walked around and ate in the town center.

We stayed at the Hotel Tramonto from Feb 13 to Feb 22, 2023. I cannot begin to praise this hotel enough. It is a small hotel across the street from the beach, with a pool, restaurant, outdoor patio and clean spacious rooms. The entire staff at this hotel were very acomodating to make our stay most memorable. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast which was very good, as well as all day dining with a fantastic menu and excellent prices. We were in Room 119 with a pool view and very convenient for us, especially since I have a bad knee and needed to be as close to everything as possible. The Housekeeping Staff kept our room immaculate. The entire hotel was also very clean. The Reception and Restaurant Staff were always most welcoming. We had dinner most nights at the hotel with our daughter and boyfriend who recommended that we stay here. It is a 10 minute drive to Jaco. We were very happy choosing Hotel Tramonto, and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Costa Rica. . Wir waren hier zwei Tage mit einer Reisegruppe im Hotel. Die schlechten Bewertungen von meinen vorschreiben kann ich jetzt nicht ganz so nachvollziehen. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr, sehr groß und super geräumig. Für Paare gibt es jeweils ein Doppelbett. Vom Zimmer hat man einen Mega Ausblick. Und einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Auf dem Gelände laufen sogar Nasenbären herum. Eine Pfauenzucht ist auf dem Gelände. Schwimmbad in der mittleren Höhe von dem Hotel Gelände. Das Frühstück bietet für alle etwas. Eine große Auswahl sucht man aber leider hier vergebens. Hier könnte an Käse und Wurst ein bisschen mehr Auswahl sein. Zum Abendessen können wir leider nichts sagen. Da wir auswärts gegessen haben. Hier siehe meine andere Bewertungen Auch wir waren im Februar im Hotel. Das es gezogen hat, können wir auch nicht nachvollziehen. Über der Balkontür kann man eine Lüftung mechanisch schließen. Vielleicht ist es den Vorschreibern nur hier entgangen. Ja, das Bad hat die Lüftung zum Flur hinaus. Dies ist aber nicht schlimm. Ich einen Punkt Abzug für die Ausstellung des Hotelzimmers. Hier könnte ein neuer Teppichboden mal verlegt werden. Und die Holzverkleidung vielleicht mal abgeschliffen und neu eingelassen werden. Betten aber Mega weich und riesengroß. Für jeden zwei große und zwei kleine Kopfkissen. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Auch die bemängelten fehlende Stühle auf dem Balkon ist kein Grund zum motzen. Hier haben wir einfach unsere zwei tollen Holzschaukelstühle auf dem Balkon für den Sonnenuntergang hinaus gestellt.

Das Best Western Hotel Kamuk ist ein tolles modernes Hotel in der nähe von Manuel Antonio. Es liegt direkt gegenüber der ”Strandpromenade” von Quepos (Baden nicht oder nur eingeschränkt möglich). Unser Zimmer war sehr modern und schön mit zwei Quennsize Betten eingerichtet. Dazu ein großes Bad und Balkon zur Meerseite. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet sehr leise. Im Innenhof gibt es einen schönen Pool. Das Restaurant bietet Frühstück und Abendessen a la Carte. Das inklusive Frühstück ist leider etwas sehr bescheiden (Toast, Margarine, Marmelade, Obst und Corn Flakes) Die Zimmer waren tiptop sauber, das Restaurant-Personal leider etwas weniger bemüht - gepflegte Langeweile wurde zur Schau getragen. Der Red-Snapper war allerdings sehr gut und preiswert. Auf jeden Fall ist das Hotel eine Empfehlung wert. WLAN und Parken ist ebenfalls im Zimmerpreis inklusieve.

Das Karahe Beach Hotel war das letzte Hotel unserer Reise. Vom Reiseanbieter wurde das Hotel als Highlight angepriesen. Wir sind bei etwa 30 ° Celsius angekommen und hatten uns über ein Zimmer am Strand mit Meerblick gefreut. Der ”Meerblick” war da, wenn man die Hauptstraße und die Anlage vom Hotel dazwischen ignoriert. Wir hatten einen Bungalow auf der Bergseite. Nach dem Check-in muss man seine Koffer alleine einen steilen Hang hinauftragen. Service gleich Null. Hier wird auch nicht gefragt, ob man helfen soll. Wahrscheinlich, weil die Angestellten selbst keine Lust haben. Hier ist der Service grottenschlecht und wir waren bis dahin einiges gewöhnt. Mein Mann musste also beide Koffer bei einer Hitze hochtragen. Der Bungalow selbst hatte einen Ausblick aufs Meer, den Manuel Antonio Park und die Anlage. Die Couch im Zimmer müsste dringend getauscht werden, wir wollten nicht mal unsere Sachen darauflegen geschweige denn uns selbst darauf setzen. Das Frühstück war sehr minimalistisch. Die Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen war nicht sehr ansprechend. Kaffee war abgestanden, Tee gab es gar nicht und die Getränke wurden in Plastikbechern serviert ( wenn keiner hingeschaut hat, hat ein Affe daraus getrunken). Die Anlage an sich war relativ schön. Man hat einige Tiere gesehen (Faultier, Aguti, Affen). Der Zugang am Restaurant zum Strand war dafür gut. Wir haben zwei Mitarbeiter gesehen, die von morgens bis abends die Anlage sauber gehalten haben und den Strand sauber gehalten bzw. morgens vorbereitet haben. Es war unmöglich für zwei Mitarbeiter alles zu schaffen. Trotzdem waren die beiden mehr bemüht, als die Mitarbeiter im Service. Wir mussten über die Straße und durch die Anlage laufen, um zum Stand zu gelangen. Für uns also nicht direkt ein Beach Hotel. Wir hatten eine andere Vorstellung. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht.

The photos of their rooms look exactly like the actual room we received ! If anything the room appeared bigger than what we expected. We had booked the king bed room overlooking the pool and it was perfect. Except for one thing that I shouldn't/wouldn't have let bother me but here is what happened - you do the decision. I asked about laundry service and was told by the front desk guy that I should save my $$'s and use the oversize bathroom sink (and it was) then hang my clothes on the little wire units that were in the shower area. Simple enough except after I did the wash and rinse & squeeze of as much water as possible, I went to hang the clothes on the wire and it broke, so pulled out the 2nd one, same thing it broke before I could even hang anything up ! So I went back down to the front desk and explained it all and this time the gal that was there told me to bag it up and they would do it for $7/kilo, I stated that I would do this but since it was already wet, there wouldn't be an accurate weight. She told me not to worry and that they would weigh it after it was dry, so I complied and dropped it off. Next day I went to retrieve it and was alarmed that my 3 tee shirts, 2 shorts and a couple of underwear's were going to cost way over $20 ! I was told be a different person that there was nothing that could be done and I could just pay it or they would add it to my bill at checkout. I paid the bill for what may have been 3 lbs (1.25 kilos max) of stuff. So in closing stay here for the rooms (and we probably would again) but don't have your laundry done here because they will ream you !

Das Zimmer hatte ein Ankleideraum, war groß und sauber. Auch das Badezimmer war super. Vom Balkon konnte man direkt in den grünen Garten schauen und mit ein bisschen Glück auch Tiere beobachten. Beim Frühstück konnte man zwischen ca. 10 Gerichten wählen und zusätzlich gab es Kaffee, Tee, Saft, Cornflakes, gebratene Bananen und Kuchen. Auch das Abendessen, welches nicht im Preis enthalten war, war sehr lecker! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Touren können im Hotel gebucht werden. Ca. alle 15-20 Minuten fährt ein Bus zwischen Quepos und dem Strand von Manuel Antonio und kostet pro Fahrt nur 390 Colón. Die Bushaltestelle ist etwa 50m vom Hotel entfernt und die Busverbindung ist super praktisch! Restaurants und Bars sind auch fußläufig erreichbar. Rundum ein super Hotel!

As a longterm guest, since the end of November, at this Miraculous family-owned and -run collection of boutique suites, With every dawn, I fall in love with it and its Unique location. Perched amongst the treetops (the smaller trees of this Rainforest/Jungle) while I write, each day brings new creatures and flora to my grateful attention. My suite is perfect for either self-sufficiency or being catered to from either the coffee bar or the Terraza 77 Restaurant & Bar. The sense of Family and Pura Vida (Costa Rica's laidback ethos) is personified at Vista Ocean Suites and continues to grow the longer I stay. Don't come for just a moment or a selfie, instead: relax, unwind and take in the Majesty, Gobsmacking Views and the daily parades of creatures and spectacular Air Shows of phenomenal birds, including descendants of pterodactyls! Don't be like the cheap Iranian tourist who glommed onto their wifi this morning without even acknowledging the hardworking staff! Simply leave your stress behind and float for a while in the beautiful pool, looking up at the various monkey troupes, performing acrobatics along the rooftops. And, remember you are honoured to be in the Real Jungle where Mother Nature rules - there will be insects and friendly House Geckos sharing this pristine Rainforest with you x

Had a wonderful stay at Selina Jaco. Even with a shared bathroom between 4 rooms, we never encountered an issue as far as waiting on anyone to use the facilities. The pool, the bar, the beach, the vibes were all on point. Everyone was so friendly, staff and other travelers alike. It was nice talking to people from other walks and places of life. I loved every minute of our stay here, and will recommend this hostel to anyone! Hopefully we'll get back there next year! Pura Vida!
