3-Sterne-Hotels in Alberta, Kanada

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Calgary-Airport for a quick stopover. As a frequent traveler through Alberta, I find this IHG property generally reliable, but my January visit was a mix of classic hospitality and a few seasonal frustrations. The Highlights: Late Night Relaxation: The pool area was buzzing with families and kids throughout the afternoon and early evening. However, I headed down about an hour before closing and it was a total shift in atmosphere. I managed to have a peaceful, quiet session in the hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long drive. Comfortable Rooms: As expected from this brand, the bedding was crisp and the room was well-insulated against the Calgary wind. Convenience: The proximity to the airport and easy access to Deerfoot Trail remains a major selling point for this location. The Drawbacks: Elevator Maintenance: It was a bit unfortunate that during my stay, one of the elevators was down for modernization maintenance. This led to some noticeable wait times in the lobby, especially during the morning checkout rush when everyone had luggage. Winter Parking Issues: This was my biggest hurdle. Given the intense cold during these Calgary nights, I was relieved to see outdoor stalls with plug-ins. However, I discovered the plug-ins were not powered, meaning my vehicle's block heater wasn't working overnight. Starting a cold-soaked engine the next morning was a struggle; I’d really love to see these activated for guests during the winter peak. Summary: Despite the elevator delay and the parking power issue, the staff were friendly and the amenities were clean. It’s a solid 4-star experience, though a few ”winter readiness” improvements would make it a 5.

War absolut dreckig, weil das Zimmer mit Dampfbad ausgestattet war. Ich würde vorschlagen, einen eigenen Reiniger mitzubringen und darauf zu achten, dass die Wanne im Badezimmer sehr gut gereinigt wird. Das Bett war zwar sehr bequem, aber die Leute an der Rezeption waren trotzdem sehr unhöflich und ignorant, sie hatten überhaupt keine Manieren und waren sehr kurz angebunden zu allen

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Alles war perfekt – sehr sauber, komfortabel und gut organisiert. Das Personal hat eine ausgezeichnete Arbeit geleistet, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles war 100%. Ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv empfehlen und würde gerne wiederkommen!

Extremely helpful staff,very good service, location is easily reachable by LRT, rooms are big and clean and has everything needed including microwave, coffee maker and fridge.

Room was average at best Pillows lumpy and it affected my  sleep Went to buy a bottle of water it was 4.50 Carts for luggage disappeared and staff didn’t seem to care, got attitude when I asked if the coukdcfind them as I had 2 - 50 lb bags plus carry on Cheap price but would try a different   place next time Average at best!!!

Die Toilette ist wirklich gut, aber sehr rückständig. Mein Zimmer ist voll gebrochen. Es sieht sehr krank aus. Ich habe zwei Tage lang nicht gelebt und es sieht etwas widersinnig aus. Das Frühstück ist OK. Parken ist bequem.

Insgesamt gute Erfahrung, sehr bequeme Lage und in der Nähe des Flughafens, Ich bin nicht sicher, Hotel Frühstückspolitik, aber sie sollten überlegen, Egg Cheese Omelet von anderen Fleisch, d. h. Pork etc. getrennt zu halten. Da einige Menschen wie ich und meine Familie die Ernährung benötigen, haben wir keine andere Möglichkeit, Tim Hortons oder einen anderen Frühstücksort zu besuchen, obwohl wir für das Frühstück bezahlt haben. Ich habe die gleiche Frage mit dem Empfangsmann gestellt, aber sie waren unwissend, so dass wir bis zum Frühstück warten müssen, um Antworten zu erhalten, die NO ist.

Das war mein erstes Aufenthalt und Buchung durch trip.com. Alles war großartig anstrengend und Buchung und Check-in. Die Betten waren komfortabel und die Dusche ist groß genug für zwei Personen. Das chinesische Essen im Casino während der Beobachtung des Hockeyspiels war großartig. Auch der gebratene Rind nackt Benny war ein leckerer Start zum Muttertag. Ich werde hier sicher wieder bleiben und hoffentlich nächstes Mal den Heißräder schlagen sicher.

We've never come across this kind of experience before,my wife's sister in-law has gone to heaven, that's why we've to cancel the Hotel booking. It's a free cancellation show on the booking page, but the Hotel said ”No”. That's why we didn't come to Calgary and never stayed a night at the Hotel. If you kindly fix this case, we'll book Hotel from you in the future, thanks for your kindly help. We're seniors, both of us are over 70 years old, thanks God, we have a good life! We still can travel in Europe and Asia every year!!

Quick and easy checkin and checkout process. We were staying on a non-smoking floor, and we unfortunately had the worst smells of ********* flooding into our room. We called down to front desk, who were going to look into it. Nothing done about it. Advised front desk at checkout of the situation and they didn’t seem to care. Other than that. Was a good location for us too.
