The room was well-equipped with amenities, including a microwave, refrigerator, and a large flat-screen TV. I particularly appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which was reliable and fast—perfect for catching up on work and staying connected.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, including scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, yogurt, and a selection of pastries. There was also a pancake machine, which was a fun touch! The dining area was clean and spacious, allowing me to enjoy my meal in a relaxed environment.
The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for travelers using the airport. It’s just a short drive away, and the hotel offers a shuttle service, which is very convenient. I took advantage of this service, and it was prompt and efficient, making my arrival and departure stress-free.
Additionally, I had the chance to use the fitness center during my stay. It was well-equipped with modern machines and weights, and it was nice to have that option to maintain my workout routine while traveling.
Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton International Airport was highly satisfactory. The combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities made it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable place to stay near the airport. I look forward to staying here again during my next visit to Edmonton!
Excellent hotel at a great location. Breakfast was good but could be improved by providing variety of food and most importantly place the tag next to food tray.
The landlords ( husband & wife) are very friendly, helpful, nice & accommodating. The wife Ms Shujie Guo waited for us patiently to arrive at the air bnb before returning to their own home which is a short distance away. (NB: we did not get the message or e-mail for the main door number access code & she know that it has happened before. So she took the initiative to wait for us which we arrived at night at about 9 pm on that day). This air bnb house provided full cooking facilities including the ingredients & spices. The common area are very clean & tidy. The bedroom & bathroom are equally clean & tidy. There is a garden at the back of the house which is beautifully layout. The landlord lady Ms Jhujie Guo even went to the extent to alert my wife that there were northern lights & informed us to go to the open space to see. With our iPhone 14 pro max handphone, we managed to see the beautiful northern lights ( aurora). Unfortunately we were unable to capture the dancing lights as we do not have the camera stand. This is a bonus as we did not expect to see Northern lights in Calgary! We felt like we were living at our own home.
We would highly recommend those who are looking for accommodation in Calgary to stay at Brothers Li Homestay.
Das Zimmer war sauber, aber mein Schlaf wurde durch Lastwagenhorne gestört, was wirklich ungünstig war. Ich war auch überrascht, es gab keine Badehandtücher. Es gab nur zwei kleine Handtücher und ein Gesichtshandtücher. Ich bleibe in Hotels regelmäßig für Arbeit und das ist das erste Mal, dass ich es erlebt habe.
The location is accessible to different public transport which is convenient for solo travellers. Also, it is in the middle of downtown area where restaurants and major establishments are located. Overall, chateau Lacombe is a good hotel to stay if you are planning to go in Edmonton.
Der Check-in war gut; der Agent war professionell und freundlich.Das Hotel ist müde - braucht eine sehr tiefe Reinigung und Renovierung in den gemeinsamen Bereichen, Aufzügen und Zimmern. Es hat Fenster in den Zimmern, die offen waren, was großartig war! Das Restaurant war unerwartet geschlossen, was enttäuschend war. Das Frühstück war ziemlich viel Kohle und Protein - wäre toll gewesen, einige Früchte zu sehen. Vieles Essen. Ein anständiger Aufenthalt für den Preis, den ich gezahlt habe, und seine Nähe zum Krankenhaus, wo ich hingehen musste.
It was a good place but some staff weren't friendly, especially the front desk. They're good at problem-solving like giving solutions to some issues I encountered. Hope breakfast is till 11 though because the current schedule is 6:30-9:30.I will recommend it, my rate is 7/10.

GGastnutzerThe building and facilities are very clean, and the breakfast area has a pleasant atmosphere with a nicely presented food selection. Overall, it was excellent.
One small note: the staff sometimes seemed a bit rushed to take away forks and knives. A little more time would be appreciated.
Overall, it’s a great hotel for families.
And a funny moment — my Cheetos got stuck in the vending machine, and because my English is limited, I ended up giving up 😄

HhongpowerEs dauert etwa 20 Minuten von Uber vom Flughafen Edmonton. Die Kosten beliefen sich auf etwa $33. Es gibt auch ein koreanisches Restaurant in der Nähe, aber nicht eine Fußwegsweite .... Alle Zeitpläne wurden von Uber gelöst. Der Klang der Klimaanlage im Zimmer .... Es war so groß ... Ich schlief aus und schlief, als ich schlief.
GGastnutzerThe staff were friendly and helpful, and found a snow brush for us when we realized we had left ours at home. The location is perfect, a straight 10 or so minute walk downtown so you avoid the hassles of trying to find parking downtown. If walking isn't an option for you ( physical limitations, lazy holiday...or hangover) there's a bus stop right outside. There's an attached restaurant if you just want to stay in once in. Our room was large and clean with microwave fridge and coffee. Was it brand new? No, (but neither am I) and at the price, absolutely fine!
GGastnutzerThe bed was much too hard. The air conditioning unit kept switching itself from warm to freezing even though I had it on the heat-only setting. The housekeeping team tried to come in and clean my room 45mins before I was scheduled to check-out.
Then my keycard was deactivated 10 minutes before checkout time so I was locked out when I returned from breakfast and had to go down to the front desk to get it fixed. The first lady at reception said she’d reactivated my keycard, so I went back upstairs and was still locked out, and the elevator was far too slow and I didn’t want to get penalised for checking out late, so I had to walk down the stairs (which were very difficult to find!) then a second lady gave me a different, new keycard to get back into my room, then I had to walk back up the stairs again and was finally able to get my luggage and check out. Overall it was a pretty bad experience.
GGastnutzerIt was a pleasant stay I would say. Clean and cozy. Home-like atmosphere. The only thing I want to mention is that when we arrived at 4:30pm no one was there, no reception, no instructional signs… until 10 mins later, there was somebody coming out from a storage, she was very helpful and got us in the room instantly. One suggestion is that it’d be great to prepare 1 or 2 extra blankets for a group of more than 2.

Add to it the super friendly staff especially the two ladies during check-in. Housekeepers along the hallways were so friendly as well!
