Det var et rigtig fint og behageligt ophold og da jeg skulle forlade hotellet mistede min kone sin telefon og de ringede med de samme til os og sagde det til os så vi var nødt til at gå hele vejen tilbage det er bare ti ud af ti oplevelse jeg er så glad for at Telefonen er tilbage god service 

Ich habe Hunderte von Online-Bewertungen gelesen, aber die Erfahrung war trotzdem etwas angespannt. Zuerst die gute Nachricht: Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Schräg gegenüber gibt es ein kleines Café und an der Kreuzung einen günstigen 7-Eleven. Das Zimmer war sehr günstig, und alle waren von der Einrichtung begeistert. Das Lobbypersonal im Erdgeschoss war freundlich, und Taxis waren leicht zu erreichen, und die Fahrer fanden immer einen. Die nächste Hürde waren die offiziellen Antworten des Kundenservice, die inkonsistent und nie klar waren. Den Zahlungscode für die Reinigungsgebühr bekam ich erst nach meiner Ankunft im Hotel. Andererseits hatte ich keine Zahlungsmethode. Ich fragte das Hotelpersonal (sie befanden sich im Hotel; die anderen Zimmer waren in Privatbesitz), aber niemand sprach Chinesisch. Sie halfen mir, einen chinesischsprachigen Mitarbeiter des privaten Unternehmens anzurufen, und so kam ich zu WeChat. Ich probierte verschiedene Möglichkeiten aus, die Reinigungsgebühr zu bezahlen. Zuerst bezahlte ein Freund für mich, aber da er keinen Code hatte, musste ich selbst herausfinden, wie ich bezahlen sollte. Später bekam ich den WeChat dieser Person und sie schickte mir ihre E-Mail-Adresse. Um den Schlüssel zu bekommen, muss man an der Tür einen Code eingeben. Ich war etwas ratlos, sodass der Alarm losging und die Tür verriegelte. Aber das Problem klärte sich schnell auf. Kein Problem. Ich reise alleine und meine ganze Familie hat mich mental darauf vorbereitet, aber ich empfehle dir trotzdem, darüber nachzudenken.

The hotel’s location is absolutely excellent—right in the heart of Jonker Walk. Everything is just steps away, whether you want to explore the night market, enjoy local food, or grab a casual drink in the evening. It’s incredibly convenient and perfect for a lively yet effortless stay. One of the best parts is that room service is available until 10:30 PM, so even if you don’t feel like heading out, you can still enjoy a delicious meal comfortably in your room. The breakfast spread is impressive and truly delicious. There is a wide variety of options, including Nyonya cuisine, Western dishes, porridge, Malay noodles, pasta, croissants, and fresh fruits—something for every taste. The hotel’s design reflects a beautiful Baba-Nyonya style, creating a charming and relaxing holiday atmosphere. There is also a small rooftop water play area where kids can splash around and have lots of fun, which adds a lovely family-friendly touch to the stay. Overall, the experience was exceptional—truly a perfect stay from start to finish!

Das Hotel ist wirklich gut, die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, ich bin zufrieden, es ist den Preis wert... es ist nur Frühstück, es ist einfach normal, es gibt nicht viele Tische, wenn man zu spät kommt, muss man anstehen...

This the second time im staying here. First time was a week ago and the staff was fantastic but unfortunately this time there was this guy(i dont know him/her) was very rude. Totally pissed me off, if you cant be nice and polite in your service industry then better just stay at home!!! Very arrogant.

Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to multiple issues with the facilities and management, although there are a few positive aspects worth mentioning. 1. The toilet flushing system is very weak and unable to properly flush waste. There is also no exhaust fan, causing unpleasant odors to linger after use. 2. The shower area lacks proper shelving for toiletries, which is inconvenient, especially for female guests. Although the space is not small, the towel rack is installed above the toilet, which is both unhygienic and impractical. 3. The unit is advertised as a two-bedroom space that can accommodate up to five people, which reasonably creates the expectation of having two bathrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom is locked and used as a storage room. This becomes highly inconvenient, as guests have to wait excessively long to use a single bathroom. 4. The doorbell issue that was reported earlier was never resolved. 5. The air conditioner remote control was initially not working, but a replacement was only provided later at night. 6. Only two out of four elevators were functioning. During checkout time, it became extremely difficult to get an elevator. Once inside, it stopped at almost every floor due to high demand. It took my family and me nearly an hour just to get from the 22nd floor to the car park. There was also no proper ventilation or air conditioning inside the elevator, which made the situation very uncomfortable and almost suffocating. 7. There is only a mirror in the bathroom, which makes it very inconvenient for guests (especially women) to get ready or do makeup. On a positive note, the overall room cleanliness was acceptable, although the towels could be improved. The interior design is visually appealing at first glance. However, the layout is not practical. Watching TV from the sofa is uncomfortable as it is positioned at an awkward angle. To face the TV directly, everyone has to sit in a row on the stairs, which is quite inconvenient. Overall, while the design may initially attract guests, the functionality and basic comfort fall short of expectations.

Nice hotel to stay at. The swimming pool has salt water, which is something different from other hotels. Check-in and check-out were easy. There were quite a variety of breakfast options, and we enjoyed the food. The room was cold, and the bathtub was big. Overall, we are happy guests.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage um fußläufig viel sehenswertes zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine gute und große Auswahl. Für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden.

dies ist mein zweiter Aufenthalt im Ibis Hotel Melaka. Alles ist wie immer gut, die Lage ist strategisch günstig. Jonker Street und das „Stadhuys“-Haus sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich mag den Swimmingpool und das Fitnessstudio sehr. Danke, Ibis Melaka!!

A proper hotel with its own parking compund. The hotel is quite new, with sufficient facilities like swimming pool and gym area. The room is spacious and complete with the basic toiletries. The aircond was good and cleanliness of the whole room is average. The only small problem with my room was the shower area. There's some sort of blockage with the drain but overall the shower experience was good with steady strong current flow. Overall, this hotel is very well worth the price of slightly above RM100.
