I stayed at Boulcott Suites for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — plenty of eateries nearby (many Asian options), a New World supermarket just around the corner, and Cuba Street all within walking distance. For those driving, private parking is available at NZD 29 per night, though it does need to be booked in advance by calling ahead. The room itself was well-equipped, with nearly everything listed on their website provided. Amenities included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, an infusion tea selection, a coffee machine, kettle, washing machine, clothing rack, clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a hair dryer. There’s also a convenient kitchenette with a stove and full set of utilities if you’d like to prepare meals. Do note that some basics like a toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, and bottled water aren’t supplied. I just drank the tap water, which seemed perfectly fine. On the downside, I felt the room was a little dusty, which took away slightly from the otherwise good presentation. I had also requested a baby cot during booking and was told it would be included, but it never arrived in the room. It wasn’t a big issue for me personally since the bed was large enough to co-sleep with my baby, but it’s worth mentioning for others who might rely on that service. All in all, Boulcott Suites is a convenient and comfortable choice in the heart of Wellington, with great amenities and an ideal location. With a little more attention to detail on housekeeping and guest requests, it would be close to perfect.

Private, professional excellent staff, service and amenities. Next to Te Papa museum, close to shops, restaurants and a variety of food places, New World and entertainment venues. Excellent for families, couples or solo traveller's. Recommend the Museum Appartment Hotel, an EVT Hotel to all visitors to Wellington. I will stay here again. Thank you.

Der Empfang ist unangenehm, und wenn man Fragen stellt, wird man vom Personal nicht unterstützt, sondern lediglich auf die Online-Recherche verwiesen. Der Umgangston gegenüber den Gästen ist unprofessionell. Manche junge Leute ohne formale Ausbildung sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, doch das trifft auf dieses Hotel nicht zu: Die Angestellten sind schlecht ausgewählt, unfreundlich und inkompetent. Zudem bräuchten sie dringend die Aufsicht eines Managers. Es ist schade, denn die Einrichtung des Hotels ist sehr ansprechend, die Zimmer sind geräumig und modern, und die Lage an einer Einkaufsstraße ist ideal. Über das Restaurant kann ich leider nichts sagen, da es nach 22 Uhr nicht mehr geöffnet hat und seit Januar geschlossen ist.

A divine experience glamping in a vineyard! ❤️ Had the good fortune of stumbling across Martinborough on my way to Wellington. It's a quaint place with a variety of well appointed cabins with gas fireplaces and spa baths just outside the cute village of cafes, shops and wineries. Their team is kind and hardworking. 💯 Bring your own food since you'll have a kitchenette and food can be limited during the day since most places don't open until evening or the weekends for tourists. Also, recommend driving since it's both expensive and challenging to get around outside of the limited free shuttle. Bikes are available to rent for $40NZD 🤑🤑

Das Zimmer war geräumig und mit zwei 1,5 Meter breiten Doppelbetten sowie einem Wasserkocher ausgestattet. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und bot unter anderem einen Saftspender und Gemüsespender. Die Lage war hervorragend, direkt neben der Seebrücke, dem Museum und Designerläden. Nur gut 100 Meter entfernt befand sich das fantastische chinesische Restaurant „Jasmine“, das seit 45 Jahren besteht.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in guter Lage und fussläufig zu Cafés , Museum und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Staff war super freundlich und hat mir einen späten Check out ermöglicht nachdem mein Flugzeug Verspätung hatte und ich sehr müde gewesen bin. Vielen Dank.

Great hotel, Friendly staff, very clean, room service excellent. Love the sauna, spa, pool. Beautiful hotel we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely book Bolton hotel again. Bedding very comfortable. We had the garden view

Wir sind spät angekommen und müde nach einem 4-stündigen Fahrt und dem Aufstieg von Mt Taranaki. Wir müssen einen richtigen Zustand haben! Wir hatten wirklich geschätzt, dass wir das Auto auf der Fahrbahn verlassen konnten, so dass wir eine Dusche und zum Bett gehen, um unsere frühe Morgenfähre direkt über die Südinsel zu fangen! Die Auscheckung am nächsten Morgen war schnell und sie hatten unser Auto bereit, uns zu verlassen. Eine warme Dusche und ein komfortables Bett war nie mehr willkommen!

I love the team at Ohtel. Everyone is so lovely. I got my flight cancelled due to weather and I rebooked the place. Now enjoying my beautiful see view room.

Facilities were clean and tidy, and our room was surprisingly quiet for being right on The Esplanade. Staff were polite and helpful.
