Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Es gab einige Probleme mit dem Warmwasser. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, nur wenige hundert Meter vom Durbar-Platz entfernt. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis durchschnittlich. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und komfortabel.

Guter Preis für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Nur für die Nacht brauchte ich ein Zimmer, da wir einen frühen Morgenflug hatten, um zu fangen. Der beste Teil des Hotels ist das Front Desk Hotelpersonal. Sehr hilfreich und freundlich, obwohl wir ihn beunruhigen mussten, um mit dem Gepäck sehr früh am Morgen zu helfen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer guten Lage in Thamel. Sie können shoppen und essen sehr bequem; es gibt viele Restaurants rund um. Das Personal ist gut bedient und freundlich. Zimmer sauber und Dachboden für Frühstück, aber wenn Sie große Gepäck haben, wählen Sie vielleicht das Zimmer auf einem nicht-hochgeschoss, weil es keinen Aufzug gibt. Empfehlen Sie für alle, die nach einem Budget Hotel suchen, Yeti Cozy ist die beste Wahl in Tamel.

This hostel is really unique. I loved feeling like I was staying in the bush as I looked out at the trees through my window in the morning. It was pretty cold and there's no heating in the room, so I struggled to get out of bed, but the bedding kept me warm enough throughout the night. Unfortunately, they didn't have a kettle in the room to help keep me warm with a little hot water, but they did give me a thermos of hot water from the restaurant when I asked about it. The shower also never remained warm for long. These shortcomings were made up for by the unique environment and the wonderful views up at the restaurant/communal area. On the last day, I could see the Himalayas clearly from there. It was beautiful. There is also a great variety of reasonably priced food at the restaurant. The hotel is also about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and 10 minutes walk in the other direction is a great place to view the sunrise. The staff were happy to help out and give directions when I asked. Of course, it would have been even nicer if they had offered some of that information on my arrival rather than waiting for me to ask. Overall, a great place to stay!

Good hotel in budget. Best for family also. The environment is too good. The reception boy is so good and well manners.

Ich habe schon an vielen Orten in Nepal übernachtet, aber dieser hier fühlt sich gut an. Der Service ist großartig, die Lage ist sehr gut, das Hotel ist sehr schnell, das Warmwasser ist gut und das WLAN ist wirklich schnell. Ich empfehle es Freunden, die hier übernachten.

Ok, so my review is completely honest, and as such, based on value, I have to give 5/5, but for me personally, I wouldn't stay again. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. This is very important indeed, and again based on the price, the standards are exceptional, especially pertaining to cleanliness and overall tidiness. This is more of a hotel though - a sort of hybrid between private rooms and small dormitories. As a backpacker (though from time to time it is nice to have a quieter and cleaner place), I look for more atmosphere, socially speaking. There were other tourists here, but it was very quiet indeed. The rooftop was very pleasant though, and they did have football showing on the television. The ambience there is nice and I was given a complimentary tea, though the menu prices are expensive. The showers had hot water most of the time, but not always. The WiFi (not the fault of the hotel) was also down due to street repairs for my stay, so I can't comment on the speed. Lastly, the owner was accommodating and pleasant and likewise the staff too. Again, to reiterate, for the price, the value is very good indeed, it's just not my personal preference. Hope this helped 👍
