I visited on a solo trip where I was going to both San' Angelo Muxaro and San Biagio Platani (the location is great if you are visiting either commune). This was a short distance to both towns, and had a beautiful view of the valley. I drove and parked here- coming from Palermo. The owners were very kind and helpful with some questions I had about driving in the area, and were able to accommodate me when I unexpectedly arrived early. They cooked a lovely dinner, and prepared breakfast for me early in the morning before my drive back. It was peaceful and quiet, and I just really enjoyed looking out my room into the beautiful green valley. Era a breve distanza da entrambi i paesi e offriva una splendida vista sulla valle. Ho guidato e parcheggiato qui, venendo da Palermo. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili a rispondere ad alcune mie domande sulla guida in zona, e sono stati in grado di ospitarmi quando sono arrivato inaspettatamente in anticipo. Mi hanno preparato una cena deliziosa e la colazione la mattina presto, prima del mio ritorno. Era un posto tranquillo e silenzioso, e mi è piaciuto molto ammirare la splendida valle verde dalla mia camera.

Ich kam in die Zimmer, aber mein Internet funktionierte nicht, also musste ich die schöne PPL im unteren Kaffee anrufen, um den Besitzer zu rufen. Ich würde die Informationen erhalten, die erforderlich sind, um zu checken, bevor Sie ankommen, falls Ihr Wifi nicht direkt arbeiten. Das Zimmer ist in einem Block von Wohnungen, So zentral zu allem, überprüfen Sie den Markt am Samstag, Sie können es durch Ihr Fenster sehen. Es war ziemlich kalt und stormig, als ich ankam und war wirklich kalt, ich bat um einen Heizung und es kam sofort. Das Apartment verfügt über Kaffee- und Teeeinrichtungen im Hauptküche-/Essenbereich. Guter Wert und beste Lage, nahe allem, kann ein wenig laut am Abend sein, da es über eine besetzte Busstation/Quadrat ist. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Bahnhof in der Nähe und zu Fuß. Sehr empfehlenswert! Bilder sind aus Sicht von Fenster , wie Sie sehen, sie waren im Mittelpunkt des Aufbaus des Platzes.

Location surrounding is crap. I went by navigator with a suitcase from central railway station about 15 min because the roads are not for suitcases, cracked pavement everywhere. It’s better to take a car or tram 1 for 2 stops from railway. It’s really apartment in a crap residential building. 3rd floor (like 4tth) without a lift with narrow stairs with no lighting in the evening. You don’t see where insert 3 keys in locks (3doors to enter). My room faced the noisy busy road. There 2 rooms inside, looks nice, no microwave, but clean. Area looks dangerous in the evening. Owner lady is nice and helpful. She tries to do her best!

Very nice and expensive hostel in beautiful Palermo. It is in the midst of a myriad of fantastic eateries and trattorias. It is also within a short walk from several of the main attractions. The bus stop and train station is also minutes away. The hostel itself is brand new and looks great. It has also nice kitchen and common areas. The hostel is manned only around working hours, or close to that. I had problems for days to locate a staff member. It is expensive, not very much cheaper than a cheap hotel room, but if one is used to this kind of lodging, this is a good option. Recommended.

Eines unserer schönsten Aufenthalte während unserer 12-Tage-Reise rund um Sicily. Nach der Ankunft am Flughafen Catania fahren wir ganz nach Dimora Cottanera, nach Dunkelheit ankommen. Hier war es drei Nächte und waren nicht müde. Ausgezeichnete Umgebung, große Aussichten, gute Ausstattung, schönes und starkes warmes Wasser, sehr komfortable Betten, sehr gutes Frühstück. Der Infinity Pool war im November zu kalt, aber wir genossen die Sauna und das Außenbad. Kredits an Serena, die wirklich nett und hilfreich war. Sie organisierte unsere Mt Etna-Reise und Weingeschmack.

Die Einrichtungen waren gut und das Hostel verfügte über einen Kühlschrank, Backofen und Kochgeräte. Das Zimmer und die Toiletten waren meist sauber. Jeder mit einem großen Schrank ausgestattet. Sie können die Waschmaschine für 4 Euro verwenden und die Kleidung im Balkon hängen. Ein großes Problem war die Sound-Isolierung. Die Fenster konnten nicht vollständig geschlossen werden und das Zimmer war mit einer besetzten Straße konfrontiert. Es war besonders bemüht, während Wochenenden, da Autos und Motorräder Musik auftauchen könnten, wenn sie spät am Abend fahren.

Casa Verdi feels like a family environment. Very hospitable, very friendly, and has a chaotic kitten who is adorable. Unfortunately showers are very low pressure, and if someone uses the tap in the kitchen or another shower at the same time the water turns to a trickle. Laundry is available and fairly cheap. There is a fridge and kitchen available and close transport to city centre and airport which are also explained by the staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Extremely friendly and welcoming host doing everything so that you feel good. Advertised breakfast is just packed cookies and yoghurt. Not ours but as it is on the photos. Room is very small without window and proper ventilation. The area around the hotel is very dodgy and dirty. But that’s Palermo I guess. Can be recommended overall if you’re not particularly keen on a super tidy surrounding / feeling super safe going home alone.

Lady on the desk was very nice although we were charged $24 Aud per night extra for a cleaning fee that was not disclosed when we booked. We had no idea why we were charged this fee upon arrival. They should be more transparent with the costs. Although we paid for breakfast it was not available as the cafe they used was closed for the holidays & we were not offered any alternative so more money wasted.

LOL Hostel is located close to the Siracuse train station. Just 2 minutes'walk! It is extremely convenient if you go there by train. There are lots if seating areas in the reception area. You can watch TV and surf Internet there. There is also a bar and an open kitchen with a fridge. There is also an outdoor seating area. The bedroom is clean and quiet. I had a good sleep there.
